Blood and Ink is a Worm and Bendy and the Ink Machine fanfic by NexusTheDark.

Cartoons never die, you know.

Stab them, crush them, burn them, disintegrate them with a physics shattering space laser. It takes something very special to actually kill a toon.

But even then, they don't mind it too much when it happens in the moving pictures. For them it's a livelihood, a job that's all about creating laughter. Why, a toon is the finest, downright loyalest friend a person could ask for. Always quick to turn a frown upside-down, lifting spirits and willing to do darn near anything.

Of course, if you happen to harm the friend of a toon... oh me, oh my, that would be a very dangerous mistake. They don't like liars and traitors, no siree. Why, stabbing a friend in the back is just about the most low-down thing you could ever do, don't you know? And if that just so happens to cause them some serious physical and mental trauma... why I bet they would be absolutely livid. Woe betide anyone who would make such an enemy.

Because as I said, cartoons never die. And for them, something as inconsequential as reality doesn't get in the way of one of the core principles of a good joke: Karmic Retribution.

And this gang? Well... let's just say they aren't your average bunch of cartoon characters. They've been burned before. They've tasted betrayal. And now the world is about to experience what happens when the ink begins to flow.

Blood and Ink provides examples of:

  • The Atoner: 2.1 implies that the fix’s takes place post-game, and that the trio regained their sanity and are trying to make up for their mistakes.
  • Berserk Button: Hurt Taylor and you'll regret it.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Bendy and the others are fairly nice, but harm Taylor and you'll regret it.
  • Blood Magic: Taylor uses the last three drops of her blood that weren't replaced by ink to summon Bendy and the others.
  • Cryptic Conversation: Taylor overheard one in 2.1, which hints that the game events happened at some point in the past.
  • Elemental Shapeshifter: Taylor is pretty much entirely ink now.
  • Female Angel, Male Demon: Bendy and Alice.
  • Gaslighting: Bendy is apparently doing this to Emma as revenge for Taylor's mistreatment.
  • How Do I Shot Web?: Taylor doesn't master her powers instantly.
  • Painted Tunnel, Real Train: Taylor can create a Portal Door through this, but it doesn't work well on thicker walls.
  • Portable Hole: Taylor can make these, but has trouble when practicing in 2.1, including causing one to exit onto the sea floor and blast her with seawater.
  • Portal Door: Taylor can create these with her ink.
  • Sinister Surveillance: Taylor can use her ink to spy on people. After learning that Sophia is Shadow Stalker, she plans to infect the ink that the PRT uses with her own so she can spy on them and learn what they know about it.
  • Superpower Lottery: Taylor got a pretty impressive power since she now operates on Toon Physics, can create portals, and shapeshift due to being made entirely of ink..
  • Technically Naked Shapeshifter: Taylor after she starts making her clothes out of her ink. Danny lampshades this at one point, to her embarrassment.
  • Toon Physics: Taylor and her new compatriots run on this.
