Tommaso Antonio Conti (born 22 November 1941 in Paisley, Renfrewshire), better known as Tom Conti, is a Scottish actor of Italian and Irish descent.
He is best known for his roles in Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, Reuben, Reuben, American Dreamer, Shirley Valentine, Dangerous Parking, and Voices Within: The Lives of Truddi Chase.
He won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play in 1979 for his performance in Whose Life Is It Anyway? and was nominated for both the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and the Academy Award for Best Actor for Reuben, Reuben.
