Rikki Howard (born 1953) is a British actress best known for playing Betty Whistler in Hi-de-Hi!.
Her acting career began in 1970 when she played an uncredited glamour girl at the beach in an episode of The Benny Hill Show. The rest of The '70s were filled with similar types of roles - pretty (often uncredited) girls in comedies.
In 1980, she was cast as Betty Whistler, one of the Maplins' Yellowcoats in Hi-de-Hi!. After Gladys and Sylvia, Betty was the third most prominent Yellowcoat but would often contribute little to the plot. Howard grew tired of this and left Hi-de-Hi! after the fifth series to return to the theatre, while Betty succumbed to Chuck Cunningham Syndrome.
While she stopped acting after 1992, she is now a trained counselor and journey therapist, working to help people recover from traumatic experiences in their lives.
