    Annette 
The heroine.
  • Big Brother Attraction: She really loves her brother Alain, to the point of stripping for him so he can suck her blood in End 2.
  • Incest Subtext: At first her love for Alain might seem brotherly, but in the Good End, she strips to her corset, bra, and panties to let him drink her blood, and in the True End, she talks to him like a lover and brings her head close to his as if to kiss him.

    Alain 
I thought you would be too busy enjoying the gifts and cares from everyone to even think about brother. While I was locked down here and that fool father of ours tried to erase every last trace of my existence of your lives.

Annette's brother.


  • The Bad Guy Wins: In all endings, he either kills Annette, uses her as food, or turns her into a vampire and prepares to use her to break free of his imprisonment.
  • Big Bad: He has been luring Annette to free him so he can kill her/use her as food.
  • Horror Hunger: He can't eat normal food as a vampire- human blood is the only thing that will satisfy him.
  • Incest Subtext: At first Annette's love for him might seem brotherly, but in the Good End, she strips to her corset, bra, and panties to let him drink her blood, and in the True End, she talks to him like a lover and brings her head close to his as if to kiss him.
  • The Lost Lenore: Annette really misses her brother, to the point of Incest Subtext. Though subverted as he isn't actually dead.
  • Only Mostly Dead: Initially, Annette speaks of him as though he is dead, and she was told that he is. However, The Reveal is that he has been alive all along, just turned into a vampire, forcing their father to lock him in the basement.

    Annette's Mother 
I'm sorry... Mommy is sorry... I couldn't protect you......would you forgive your mommy?

Annette's beloved mother who used to spend time with her and Alain. Ever since Alain died, she has locked herself in her room and gone mad from grief.


  • Sanity Slippage: After Alain was turned into a vampire, she started going insane, having dreams where he would appear and call her, and it gets to the point that she locks herself in her room and her last diary entry is a Madness Mantra of her writing "forgive me" over and over again.
  • The Shut-In: After Alain's vampire transformation, she locked herself in her room, and Annette notes she rarely comes out.
  • Too Unhappy to Be Hungry: She won't even taste the cakes that her maids keep making for her, even though she used to love them, after her son Alain's death and transformation into a vampire.

This... it's okay? ...is my son... He's still my son, how important are the lives of homeless childs compared to his?

  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He loves his two children. He locked Alain away to keep him from turning Annette into a vampire or feeding on her, and he feeds him homeless children to keep him alive.
  • The Ghost: We never see him. Though he does exit his room atone point, even then he is hidden from view.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: He forcefully separated his son from his sister when he found out he became a vampire and has been feeding him innocent children, but he never appears in the game.
  • Love Makes You Evil: Him separating his vampire son Alain from the rest of his family and locking him up in the basement while luring in homeless children to be eaten by Alain is to keep Alain, whom he loves, happy and fed while keeping him from hurting his wife and daughter.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: His last diary entry describes his conflciting feelings about feeding his son innocent children to keep him alive.
    I take them in, wash them, give them food, I even let them rest before... Is this really okay? Is the life of my son that important? I'm so tired...
  • Serial Killer: By proxy, as he lures homeless children into his home and feeds them to his vampire son.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Alain's father locked him in the basement of their home and has been feeding him homeless children, but is doing it to keep the vampirified Alain from going crazy and attacking people indiscriminately.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He feeds homeless children to his vampire son to keep him from going berserk.
