This game gives Kirby a mech that mimics Kirby's copy ability. Of course there's going to be a few awesome moments—

Unmarked spoilers below.

  • The first time you get the Robobot Armor, you're treated to a Transformation Sequence of Kirby powering up the mech, similar to the scenes in previous titles that had game-specific super abilities, including having a theme song to go with it. And unlike the other titles though, this game doesn't reuse the animation (or music) for every single Robobot sequence in the game (of which there are many), making the few times where the game does reuse it all the more epic.
    • Especially noteworthy is in the final EX level of the game, where - after making your way through scores of enemies and deadly traps, you finally find and get into the Robobot... and the music changes to the Kirby Air Ride version of "Green Greens" as you proceed to backtrack through the level and absolutely bulldoze everything in your path.
  • The final normal level has you in Robobot Armor having a rematch against 3 of the 4 Holo Defense API's constructs, and later, after taking Jet Mode, flying around while bombarding multiple minibosses as if they were small fries.
  • Near the end of the game, the Robobot and the Halberd combine to become Halberd Mode, with a fantastic remix of the Robobot theme accompanying the transformation to boot!
  • The final boss battle is, shall we say, fantastic. You're chasing the sentient mother computer of the HWC, Star Dream, that's about to eradicate all organic beings, with your Robobot Halberd Mode. Then you're treated to a Rail Shooter battle reminiscent to Zero Two's battle in Kirby 64, with Star Dream being able to shoot portal lasers, throw out Invader Armors, missiles, giant Code Cubes and later, meteors. Once you defeat it, it just goes towards Access Ark, HWC's mothership, and then assimilates it for the second part of the battle. It's slower, but its attacks are harder to avoid, like the swarms of energy rings, flying Gigavolts, letters H, A, and L that cover most of the screen, and later, growing giant metallic tentacles that it'll swing directly at you. The kicker, however, is that as you shoot it enough, the front casing of the ship is blown off, slowly but surely revealing a familiar faceā€¦ and in the end it's shown that it has the face of Galactic Nova. Cue the background morphing into a colorful kaleidoscope tunnel as the third phase starts: it shoots numbers 5 to 1 at you as it summons the odd parts of Super Star's Nova that attack you in various creative ways. If you let the countdown reach zero, it'll fire a "GO!!" at you and then multiple screen-filling "Fatal Error" that is nigh unavoidable.
    • It also ends with quite the finisher sequence. Meta Knight ejects Kirby and his Robobot from the Halberd and send them flying towards Star Dream and the Access Ark for the final blow, flipping the screwdriver on its arm to the forefront and turning it into a massive drill. Star Dream continues to try and fend off the assault with various barriers, only for the Robobot to plow through them and slam down onto Star Dream's main AI tower, drilling into it as both of them try to finish their attack. The Robobot finally pushes itself and Star Dream to the breaking point, tearing through it and the entirety of the Access Ark, coring it like a giant apple. The pause screen description (written from Star Dream's perspective) pretty much encapsulates Kirby's badassery and how scared shitless the mechanical beast has become:
    • Even better is how the battle just progresses. Star Dream just gets more and more desperate over the course of the fight. It starts with a few laser attacks, then tries throwing code cubes, then tries a massive laser, and when all that fails, Star Dream gets so desperate it opens a wormhole to an active meteor shower just to kill you.
  • Meta Knight becoming a fully-playable character again for the first time since Kirby's Return to Dream Land definitely has to count. Special mention goes to how he's now strong enough to effortlessly trash the enormous obstacles that Kirby needs the Robobot Armor to destroy with just one swing of his sword. Pint-Sized Powerhouse doesn't even begin to cover it!
  • The reveal of the Final Three Bosses in Meta Knightmare Returns. After defeating a more powerful version of President Haltmann's Executive Suit, Meta Knight comes across Star Dream, which accepts him as its new "admin", and accordingly begins summoning clones of powerful sword-wielding warriors from across the Kirby series for him to fight. First, Dark Matter, then Queen Sectonia, and finally the real Galacta Knight, all complete with their original theme music.
  • The entire game is an Offscreen Moment of Awesome for Bandana Waddle Dee. Sure, the guy only plays the same role as he did in Triple Deluxe, but that means he manages to avoid capture, brainwashing, and/or cloning by Haltmann, and follows Kirby all throughout the game, right up to the final bosses — and then does the same for Meta Knight.
