* ShoutOut: Though his design has been changed slightly, his color scheme and features make him a living one to the Nintendo GameCube.

* HotScientist: Kindarspirit has a very attractive character model in-game, and is shown to be quite shapely during the real-life segments of Episode 00 as well. She's also a supergenius computer programmer who helped create a fully sentient A.I. and is a very talented musician.

* DoubleAgent: It's revealed Kirbopher is an alternate character of Zetto's and that his player is using it to give the hacker organization updates on Alpha's status while his character is possessed by the Forbidden Power. This also explains a lot of his [[GrumpyBear bitterness]] about the FiveManBand's decision to [[SourSupporter fight the hackers]]. He doesn't want to get in the way of the hackers and/or reveal his other identity to his friends. Although Zetto/Kirb seems genuinely more concerned about the virus harming someone than abusing it. To be fair, however, he's still not malicious to his friends, he just doesn't want them involved in his mess.

* GrumpyBear: Tends to respond to most of the team's plans with an angry attitude.

* MiseryBuildsCharacter: This seems to be the intended {{aesop}} from Kirbopher's gloominess, and attempts to make amends after Awaken The Beast. He seems to be blaming himself for his GrumpyBear moments kinda hard, to the point where it's affecting his sense of fun. On top of that everything seems to be going wrong for him during the pre-tournament, and Gemini Tournament arcs.

* TheCutie: Adorable, kind, helpful, curious and naive. In contrast to Kirbopher's GrumpyBear and sarcastic tendencies.

* AbsoluteCleavage: Her top is cut to show off her cleavage and the top half of her stomach.

* SimpleStaff: His weapon is a staff with a resemblance to a Didgeridoo which is a kind of wind instrument made by natives in Australia.

* NiceHat: He says so and we think so. It gets left on his sword in the memorial in Sanctuary.

* NiceHat: Probably a reference to Myth/RobinHood since both characters are archers.

* NiceHat: Some people seem to think so, anyways...

* NotImportantToThisEpisodeCamp: Does not appear in Episodes 02 or 06 (apart from brief non-speaking cameos in the latter). Notably, to date he has also failed to appear in any of the shorts with original footage, has never appeared without his LoveInterest Flamegirl also being present, and has logged the second-''fewest'' appearances of any main character (behind Gamecrazed). This despite being the ostensible protagonist.

* NotImportantToThisEpisodeCamp: Does not appear in Episode 03, or any of the shorts except for the Traveler's Guide.

* NotImportantToThisEpisodeCamp: Does not appear in Episodes 02 or 06 (apart from brief non-speaking cameos in the latter).

* NotImportantToThisEpisodeCamp: Does not appear in Episodes 03, 07, or 14, or any of the shorts except for the Traveler's Guide, making him the least-frequently appearing main character.

* NotImportantToThisEpisodeCamp: After being the only character to appear in each of the first six episodes, he finally does not appear in episode 07.

* NotImportantToThisEpisodeCamp: Episode 08, the only Season 1 episode featuring Alpha in which he doesn't use the Forbidden Power in some way ([[DemonicPossession or vice-versa]]). Episode 11 doesn't feature the Forbidden Power either, although we do see the item it's contained in several times, and it's referenced by other characters.

* SupernaturalIsPurple: Has a fiery purple glow when she deactivates Alpha's Forbidden Power.

* RapunzelHair: Long and blond.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Comes from the anime influences of the original series.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: His hair color and hair style are inspired from Shugo in ''Franchise/DotHack''

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Fits together with the rest of his color scheme. Might be inspired by anime, but being a minor character we may never really know for sure.

* MulticoloredHair: Both have streaks in their hair in addition to their dominant hair color. Anneva has black hair with blue streaks. And Foreva has pink hair with white streaks.

* SleevesAreForWimps: Alpha gets a new look in episode 10, and loses his scarf and long sleeved shirt in exchange for a black tank top and fingerless.

* SleevesAreForWimps: Alpha gets a new look in episode 10, and loses his scarf and long sleeved shirt in exchange for a black tank top and FingerlessGloves.

* FingerlessGloves: Alpha gets these with an update to his look in episode 10 that make him look more badass.

* IfICantHaveYou: How he ''really'' feels about Flamegirl, despite his deceptive claims to the contrary. Episode 15 sees him refer to her as [[TheOneThatGotAway "The one that got away from me"]] and reveal the fact that ''[[MoralEventHorizon he's pretty much been plotting her murder for the whole series.]]''

* AllEncompasingMantle: Her character avatar wears a large furred coat that covers over her whole body.

* BadassBeard: After he gets Serpentine's beard in Short 6, he keeps it for the rest of the series.

* MetaphoricallyTrue: Their official profile lists their location as "Unknown, US". [[spoiler: Given they're actually SOFDTI's shadow in the game that would mean that their "real world" location would be wherever in the US the TOME servers are kept.]]

* MysteriousPast: To the point where it's unclear as to whether or not he's even ''human'' until TheReveal that [[spoiler: he's [=SOFDTI's=] shadow]].

* PlotBasedVoiceCancellation: In episode 13, only the music can be heard playing when he tells Nylocke why he can't go with him and the others to the D-Bug Organizations' base. Nylocke was shocked upon hearing it and Chris Niosi has said that whatever Nylocke was told will remain a mystery, although it probably has something to do with the fact that Gamecrazed is really [[spoiler: an avatar for SOFDTI]].
