* WouldHitAGirl: In-game, he has no problems facing a female {{mook}} in battle. He explains in one support conversation that, in the heat of battle, he is able to temporarily suppress his fear.

* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: It's implied that he loses most if not all of his fights against Chrom and Lon'qu in their supports, which makes sense in regards to the weapon triangle, as his rivals are both swordsmen while Vaike's got AnAxeToGrind.

* GlassCannon: Vaike provides plenty of Strength, Health, and decent Speed, but his poor defenses, especially Resistance, will make those hit points vanish quickly if his enemy manages to survive his onslaught.
