* DoesNotLikeShoes: Much like Nu, when she isn't wearing the full Murakumo armor she tends to caper around barefoot. This is on particular display in episode 8 of the ''Alter Memory'' anime, which did a ''lot'' to cement the "adorable" side of her BadassAdorable status.

* CorruptedCharacterCopy: A MadScientist [[ArchnemesisDad archnemesis dad]] to his KidHero son who has created clones based off a relative from the protagonist, is known for his recognizable eyewear, and is driven to remake the world for his own ends. Sounds a lot like [[Characters/NeonGenesisEvangelionGendoIkari Gendo]] [[Anime/RebuildOfEvangelion Ikari]]. However, whereas Gendo was motivated by the tragic death of his wife Yui and sought out to do anything to reunite with her (even causing TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt) and ultimately still loved his son Shinji, Relius murdered his wife Ignis and daughter and turned them both into puppets and doesn't care about his son Carl. Additionally, Relius's motivation behind remaking the world in his image is his [[AGodAmI god complex]] and wanted to make everyone lifeless puppets with himself as their new god.

* DashAttack: Her Act Parcer Zwei moves that ends with different attacks per version. In the fourth game, her new Act Parser Tri can lead to even more combinations.

* {{Determinator}}: Her ''CF'' arcade shows her to be this - she was beaten quite hard by Hakumen and yet choosing to keep going, even ignoring her innate self-preservation programming (and, later, Relius' restrains on her). All because she wants to meet Ragna. Hakumen and Nine naturally lampshade this.
* DivergentCharacterEvolution: Originally designed as a re-balanced PaletteSwap of Nu, her appearance in the ''Chronophantasma Extend'' update has seen her fighting style change to be more aggressive and her personality is ''nothing'' like Nu's (and in fact she is quite dead-set on stopping her "sister" from killing/merging with Ragna).

* EtherealChoir: The song has one for an ominous feel, similar to Nu.

* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:At the very end of ''CS'' Nu's soul resurfaces, she regains Nu's memories and takes not one, but two killing blows from Terumi's Ouroboros to the back that were meant for Ragna. She then gives Ragna the power from her Idea Engine to unlock his Azure Grimoire allowing him to defeat Terumi and turn Mu back into Noel shortly after. Parts from Lambda's regeneration chamber are later used to make Ragna's new left arm.]]

* LongRangeFighter: Downplayed; she has similar long-range capabilities as Nu, but she also has some close-ranged tactics with her unique specials.

* VocalEvolution: After her appearance in the Anime, her voice has changed somewhat to differentiate her from her sisters. Lambda's speech is more softspoken and subtle compared to Nu's higher-pitched {{Yandere}} voice and Mu's more confident and authoritative tone.

* WhiteSheep: Of the Murakumo Units. She is by far the least dangerous of them[[note]]At least until Noel gains control of hers[[/note]], only attacking on the orders of Kokonoe and even sacrifices herself to protect Ragna. And unlike her younger sister, she's not a {{Yandere}} around the guy either.

** Lambda's "bad" ending after losing a BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind leaves her alone in a hallucinated space. Suddenly, an image of Ragna appears, tells her she did well and Kokonoe is proud of her, and they can both rest now. Lambda is overjoyed to see him and happily lies down to take a nap with her beloved Ragna. When Kokonoe re-establishes contact with her body, Lambda is lying in a garden staring up at the sky, her mind shattered... but a smile on her face.

* RealMenWearPink: He wears a pink ribbon on his long hair. In his wolf form, the ribbon moves to the tail. It doesn't detracts from his badasstitude. Supplemental material reveals it's courtesy of Rachel's whims.

* OverprotectiveDad: A non-blood related version for Rachel towards Ragna. Valkenhayn doesn't think he's worth Rachel's time, and like her, almost has nothing nice to say about him.

She's also Jin's childhood friend and has harboured a secret crush on him since they were young. After graduation, she served under the Zero Squadron/Wings of Justice, whose duty is to punish those who rebel against NOL. After the True Ending of the first game she was given orders by Hazama to execute Jin and Noel [[HeKnowsTooMuch for knowing about his plans]]. And so she is sent out to Kagutsuchi to accomplish her mission, armed with an Armagus called Izayoi which steals light and uses it as a weapon. Later story developments will have her learning some awful truths which makes her go down the dark path, and her friends must save her.

-> Her canon path reveals much of her family's history. The Yayoi family is one of the oldest members of the Duodecim - the twelve noble families who helped form the original NOL. Her house and the Kisaragi house, which Jin belongs to, have very close relations with one another. Both families are quite famous, but also infamous within the NOL. Both families have very strange ethics, which causes them to be seen disdainfully in the eyes of the other families. In the Kisaragis' case, they take in children from all around the world due to their talents and are seen as mercenaries. In the Yayois' case, however, they are the opposite - family is the most important thing. So important, in fact, that when children began exhibiting weaker ars magus aptitude were born, members started resorting to incest and inbreeding in the mad delusion they would get stronger. Tsubaki is not the first-born child of her family - she is the first ''to survive''. The day she met Jin, however, was like meeting a long-lost relative to her, and the two became close friends throughout their childhood.

%%-> All of the events within Tsubaki's story are actually alternate possibilities of the Continuum Shift. Her fate, however, is revealed through Noel, Jin, and Hazama's canon stories. After Noel defeats her, she agrees to hide the fact she failed to kill her, but Hazama anticipates this and instead manipulates her feelings for Jin. He tells Tsubaki that Noel is not supposed to exist in this world, and makes her believe that she is stealing Jin away from her. She is suddenly struck from behind by some unknown force, later revealed to be Phantom using the spell "Mind Eater", which allows the user to control one's actions while the victim is fully aware of it. Hazama uses this as an "insurance policy" in her encounter with Jin, where she confesses her real feelings for him. When Jin rejects her plea to go back, Tsubaki is controlled to utilize more of Izayoi's power, which transforms her attire from white to black, and turns her eyes red. She is defeated by Jin, but Phantom teleports her away and she ends up defending Hakumen and Jin's attack on the Imperator's group in the True Ending. Tsubaki is last seen spying on the private airship Noel, Makoto, and Tager are boarding.
