Requesting some moderation for an edit war that I just realized I've unintentionally started over at Mass Effect 3's Headscratchers page. Found an entry on there that I felt seemed less like a real headscratcher and more like a vehicle for someone to soapbox. I pulled the folder in question and gave my reasons - essentially that he was just using the page as a blog to rant about how much he hates the geth - and he restored it without changing anything or addressing my reasons. I've put up a topic on the discussion page about it and invited discussion. He's also started sending me PMs accusing me of being a geth fanboy for pulling that entry and adjusting some other entries, i.e. the What An Idiot Video Games page, where I edited an entry that again seemed less like a real entry and more like a rant about the geth.
Am I going too far here?

I recently moved an example of Alas, Poor Villain from here to here, but Troacctid has moved it back claiming it's not YMMV in the edit reason. It says on the Alas, Poor Villain page that it is a YMMV trope, so I'm almost positive I was right, but I thought I'd check here rather than start editing it back and forth.

Having some trouble at Fire Emblem Tellius. A while back, I changed an example listed as "Acceptable Breaks from Reality" to "Gameplay and Story Segregation" on the grounds that Acceptable Breaks from Reality was a) an index, and b) about things that were inherently unrealistic. But at this point at least two different tropers have thought that Acceptable Breaks from Reality belonged there. Just to be clear, Acceptable Breaks from Reality isn't a trope, right?

I was looking through the list of character sheets and was surprised to see that Command And Conquer doesn't have one. Does anyone else feel that ought to change?

Troper Shizu has been changing several instances of "Aerith" to "Aeris" for no given reason. Final Fantasy VII Advent Children and Final Fantasy XIII-2 are some of the affected pages, though I was struck down for "edit warring" when I tried to revert the change in the FF13-2 page.

I had requested a custom title for Kid Icarus: Uprising, and I think it was accepted, because on the page for the game itself, it has a colon in there - Kid Icarus: Uprising. However, it doesn't seem to show the custom title on any other page. How does this get fixed?

The following entry was removed from the YMMV page of Pokemon Black 2 And White 2, cited as being Square Peg Round Trope for the Woolseyism trope. The addition of the word "Version" in handheld Pokemon games was a translation convention that began with the English titles of Pokémon Red and Blue Versions (the first Pokémon games), as the Japanese versions of Red and Blue (titled "Pocket Monsters Red" and "Pocket Monsters Green") simply list the color of the version without actually including the word "Version". I am wondering if the entry below still qualifies as a Woolseyism:
- Woolseyism: While still utilizing the concept of "versions", the Japanese handheld main series games typically omit the "Version" nomenclature, resulting in titles like Pocket Monsters Black and Pocket Monsters White. However, the usage of "Version" in the English titles of Pokemon Black 2 And White 2 (Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2) manages to work out quite nicely — as in, version 2.0, indicating an upgrade/update or progression of sorts from Pokemon Black And White, which one would usually expect of a game sequel.
Thanks in advance for assistance.

I stumbled across this "analysis" which seems more like a not so stealthy group insult. It was cut twice by Camacan but folks can't seem to leave it alone. Instead of becoming part of the edit war I am bringing it here.

Quick question: I've written up several reviews and had been thinking a lot about the Mass Effect 3 ending, and am tempted to do a review of it showing what's good and bad about it. Is that cool?

Hi guys. Can someone tell me whether an internet game (like The Last Stand, for example) goes under Web Original or Video Games?
If this is a question for Lost And Found, please let me know. I'm in doubt about that too.

I just made an article for the newly-announced New Super Mario Bros 2.
While this is absolutely not meant to seek attention, I still need someone to tell me if I repeated one of the mistakes that led me to my now-lifted suspension (as far as I can recall, the article I started is witty but natter-free).
I hope this post won't annoy anyone.

Troper Zero 2936 has been adding bizarre (perhaps vandalizing) edits to Mass Effect 3 pages, shouting memes in the middle of the page, adding Dirty Old Man to a character's description that has no characterization to speak of, and he seems determined to spread the Marauder Shields meme as far as possible an many subpages—even re-adding what was previously removed.

So, I guess Saya No Uta is a casualty of the recent racy media cleanup? Does anyone know when and/or if it'll be back? A concerned Cosmic Horror Story fan would like to know.

The character list for Final Fantasy IV has a controversial example. Drake Clawfang asserts (as per this page that the currency in Final Fantasy games is named "gil" after a character in FF4 and cites Continuity Nod on the appropriate part of the character page. I'm disputing this, because the original Japanese versions of the first three games used "gil" for the currency (the fourth game uses the character to justify why it's called that, but the term predates the game).
This isn't an Edit War, but I figured I'd take my case here before it became one. Should the example stay?

Anybody knows a trope for when the player is given unlimited power while being invincible (often by the end of the game)? You know, these epic badass moments when you know you can't lose anymore and can slaughter mooks and bosses alike, but it's still fun because you feel that you earned this right?
Note: it needs to be plot-related, not given through the normal level-up course of the game. Examples are often spoilers so here goes:
Example in the Legacy of Kain series: Soul Reaver 2 has such an ending, when Raziel goes on a spree, continuously overpowered by the Soul Reaver... which allows him to slaughter the Sarafan as though they were mere mooks, despite them being described as competent warriors sooner in the game

Time for Alex Sora 89 to report an actually useful notification!
Seriously though, I just noticed the Wake-Up Call Boss article lacks a few game genres, among which stands the rather important platformer genre. Investigating a bit in the page history resulted in finding out those genres were wiped entirely from the page.
Is it a case of Example Sectionectomy at work - debatable, as it's too specific to count as such - or, far more probably, stealth trolling? You be the judge, folks.
