Ping Pong is one of the most critically hyped shows of recent years, and with good reason. Watch it.
What's precedent ever done for us?Yuasa seems to have the magic touch. Every show he's directed gets lots of love from the critics.

Does anyone else finds how some anime fanart community work annoying?
Like, for example. Today I was on Gerlbooru looking at their Guilty Crown gallery and I felt like checking the category for Shu, and I swear almost all the pictures I got had him with someone else. Usually Inori.
Then again, Inori and Gerlbooru have a weird relationship I noticed. Because that site has 1483 Guilty Crown pictures and of these, 1188 include Inori in some way. Seriously, what's up with that?

"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Rei Ayanami Expy with elaborate, skimpy outfit. There, done.
What's precedent ever done for us?Well, that seems to be true for KOS-MOS as well but curiously not for Amane. Then again, I am not even sure if most of Gerlbooru cares for the non-Persona Mega Tens (Par for the course, really)
Oh well, at least that look through their gallery gave me this.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Ping Pong is a very good show. i never finished it, but it was one of the only sports shows i ever was interested in/engaged by.

Also there's a lot more fanart of female characters than male characters in general.
If you want to find pictures of Shu alone you might want to search the "1boy" tag along with his name.

Thing is... it wasn't just him and her, there were also some of him and Hare, him and some of the other members of the Funeral Parlor. But never with only him by himself. Okay, I will do that.
And yeah... that sorta thing is something I really dislike with, for example, some parts of the Bakemonogatari fandom.

"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Maybe Shu's just that boring of a character? I dunno. Based on criticisms I hear of the show he's supposed to be the audience-insert character or something.
But since you're already searching Gelbooru, may I suggest the other booru services, such as Danbooru, Safebooru, eshuushuu (or however that's spelled), and others (maybe Sankaku Complex?)? As well as going "directly to the source" by searching Pixiv.

Well, Shu still had the second highest number of pics with him in it. (1st was Inori) Só....
And okay, I will check them out some other time.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Considering most of his count are pics of him and Inori, I'd challenge the idea that that's because of anything about him. Like, it seems like it's basically 'popular, fanservicey character + the guy she's canonically with/audience stand-in'
I just finished watching the dub for Five Centimeters Per Second.
I didn't mind the male lead's voice or the side-voices, but the female leads didn't sound too good to me. I think they were a bit too high-pitched for me - like yeah, they're 13 and 17-18 in their respective stories, but they sounded a bit cheesy and fake. I dunno.
I still like the movie, but the dub isn't for me.
Some day soon, I might check out the Garden of Words dub.

Um, which dub of 5 Centimeters did you watch? Because that might make a pretty big difference for your opinion.

There's more than one?
Just finished Scrapped Princess. Pretty good, I liked the characterization, and the animation quality, music and voice acting were decent. The writing wasn't terrible, although I did feel the whole thing with Pacifica losing her memory seemed kind of unnecessary, and I also would have liked to see Cz redeem herself in the end, rather than just getting destroyed like the other two. (Heck, even just seeing somebody give Zephiris a hug in the final episode would have been nice. The robots in this show sure have it tough.) Overall, it certainly isn't up to Fullmetal Alchemist's standard (and even Escaflowne kinda felt more fresh and engaging), but compares favorably to the likes of Elemental Gelade or Chrono Crusade.
Next up is Rocket Girls. This seems to be a really obscure show, but the few reviews I've read sound positive. I gather this is some of the hardest anime sci-fi in existence, basically 'NASA documentary with moe', which is interesting considering that most anime sci-fi is about as hard as cotton candy. Anyway, here's hoping the show is better than Gravity, or at least cuter.

Yes. There's a dub from ADV, and a dub from Bandai — this movie's been around. I don't remember whether Discotek said their recent rescue included one or both dubs.

After reading up on the matter, I assume it's the Johnny Yong Bosch dub. His voice sounds familiar, and apparently the ADV dub is pretty rare due to its release at the very end of the company's lifespan.
I bought this DVD brand-new early this year, so I doubt it's the rarer dub. That's a shame, according to a few people the ADV dub was pretty good.
so i've stated reading another fighting manga from the beginning. which one, you may ask?
Dear lord, pretty much every licensor at AX was bringing their A-game this weekend.
Funi: Free!: Eternal Summer OVA, FMA 03 BR (both were spoiled by recent shop listings, unfortunately), and a new anime they have a hand in — Dimension W.
Viz: The second season and movie for K, One-Punch Man's upcoming anime, the Boruto movie, the first three novels of Legend Of Galactic Heroes, and at the Moon Panel cast announcements for Sailor Moon's Outer Guardians + Professor Tomoe.
Sentai: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni anime rescue (+ season 2 and the OVAs), Legend of the Galactic Heroes anime (the announcements of the novels and the anime came at almost the same time), and a Toonami announcement for Parasyte.
Aniplex: Cast announcement for Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]
TRSI: Blu-Ray plans for Revolutionary Girl Utena and Gundam, Big Windup! season 2 (obviously, season 1 sold crap for Funi).
Crunchyroll: Senki Zesshō Symphogear GX(!), subbed Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, and Monster Musume
Kodansha: Princess Jellyfish manga!
Yen Press: Baccano and My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU novels!
All that, and some of the cast for the dub of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure was confirmed. :)

It's crazy. Lo GH, After War Gundam X, all these other stuff. When will it end?
Wait, Parasyte will air on Toonami? Toonami has redeemed itself now. All is forgiven.
So it seems like English translations have stopped syncing their titles between media?
Seems that way.
A Canadian English anime dub voice actress was killed.

I saw the first two episodes. They were good.
