I've never seen Code Geass so I'm no help on this one...sorry.
This is still getting done, albeit slowly. I did a little more cleanup on the Anime page, but would appreciate getting help with this entry.
- Executive meddling by the editors of Shonen Jump took down Double Arts and Medaka Box — the former was well loved by older readers (as seen by extremely huge omnibus sales), but younger readers (who fill out the survey cards) hated it. It attempted a retool into a more fighting based series, but the damage was done. Medaka Box pulled the Genre Shift off more successfully, switching from a slice of life series to a fighting series, to an over the top fighting parody, back to a slice of life series again once it was popular enough not to risk being cancelled.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Did a ton more cleanup. The entry I asked for help with here was split up, but I need second opinion on whether I did it right. I also moved the Toonami entry to the "Other" page.
~Willbyr, I know you've watched NGE at least. Does running out of budget forcing the use of stock footage (and leading to the infamous Gainax Ending) count for this trope? I don't think it does.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I don't think it does either.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
I've done everything in the anime/manga subpage except for crosswicking the entries. I need somebody to go over what I've done and ensure it looks okay.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Started on Comic Books.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I need help organizing the Batman stuff on the comics page; I can't tell what goes where for the Batwoman entries. Some of the entries on other parts of the page also to appear to just be Writer Revolt.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I feel like I'm butchering some of these because I'm not familiar with the history of these franchises in the slightest and nobody's showing up to give second opinions.
Firing a writer counts for this, right?

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Killed a huge Wall of Text about Image Comics. It was an aversion used to diss the company about their contribution to the The Dark Age Of Comic Books.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Still doing this. The Comic Book page is mostly done, and I did some work on Literature since I had to move a misplaced entry there.
Some of these are really bare bones and I don't know how to handle them, such as the The Perry Bible Fellowship example.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Need opinions on this example in the Comics subpage. I personally think it should be deleted for being speculation. ~shimaspawn
- There are rumblings going on that Marvel is trying to screw over some of their big franchises due to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The biggest point of contention involve both X-Men and Fantastic Four, big name franchises being sat on by 20th Century Fox. The big rumor is that Marvel and Fox are squabbling over the two franchises ever since Disney bought LucasArts, denying Fox access to future Star Wars films. This has lead to both franchises being removed from virtually anything not comics, such as t-shirts, posters, toys, the works, unless it was connected to the film and not the comics. The comics are a different story, though - though Chris Claremont revealed that mutants can't be created for the Marvel Universe, Brian Michael Bendis has gone on record saying they could. In addition, while there is nothing Fantastic Four-related in Secret Wars (2015), there are a whopping 10 X-Men-related comics, with only two of them pairing mutants up with The Avengers. Come the release of the All-New, All-Different Marvel, while there are still no Fantastic Four-related titles, there are still a number of X-Men titles, include four titles specifically starring Deadpool
"rumblings" = "something some fan wanking site pulled out of their ass", most likely. Nuke it.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpDeleted it.
How about this entry? Seems more like an aversion.
- Back during the late 80s and early 90s, Todd McFarlane had popularized Spider-Man with having humongous eyes instead of the smaller ones he had for over 20 years (at that point), leading them to demand that Spidey's mask be always drawn with humongous eyes. Alex Ross had to fight tooth and nail to be allowed to use the smaller-eyed Spidey mask when he was working on Marvels, due to the fact that it was his favorite and having the big eyes while working on a series set in Spidey's earlier days would be inaccurate, not to mention very difficult to pull off as a plausible mask design in Ross's photo-realistic style.
After that, Comic Books looks done. Moving on to ExecutiveMeddling.Animated Films.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? The Thief and the Cobbler completely lacks context as to what was changed, while Quest for Camelot is borderline ZCE. Anybody here familiar with their histories?

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Not to be rude, but it's kind of infuriating that this huge and fairly important cleanup has been going on for over a month so with few responses.
I decided to just hide and have moved on to Film.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Bump.
Haven't forgotten about this, I've just been busy.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?K, I think you were a little too cut-happy with the animated films subpage. I know a few of the histories, and I think you removed a lot of useful information.
If I've screwed up, there's nothing stopping you from fixing my mistakes. Lord knows I need more help.
My distractions are gone (for now), so I can get back to work on this tomorrow.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Ok. I'll improve the histoires I know about (like Emperor's New Groove; you could seriously make a movie about all the Executive Meddling going on there).
I changed the description a bit to mention the anti-exec bias.
Bump. Is anybody still trying to work on this? If not, this thread can be closed.
There is still a bunch of example cleanup and crosswicking to be done.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?~YasminPerry, why did you add a line calling Jeffrey Katzenberg a Jerkass? That kind of thing is the exact opposite of what we're trying to accomplish with this cleanup.
I've only skimmed your other edits, but you do not appear to actually be helping here with your changes.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
Coolio. I would appreciate if you rewrote those examples since you're well-versed in that background info.
