Embarrassing stuff that you used to like?

The Nostalgia Critic and most of the rest of TWGTG. They're more annoying than funny to me now.

Barney, Teletubbies, standard little kid shows.

Same here. And Power Rangers Turbo. Don't get me wrong, I still like the Power Rangers franchise, but Turbo leaves a bad taste in the mouth after I watch it.

Teletubbies was a little odd because it was popular with the rave/club scene for a while - I distinctly remember it being played down some darker parts of London at 3 AM illegally.

I was going to post that it's stupid to be ashamed of things you used to like, that every piece of entertainment you liked is a worthwhile step in your personal development, but then I remembered that I used to like Cradle of Filth. I can't really say I'm proud of that

There was a time when I liked Johnny Test, once.

In my defense, it was actually watchable-if-not-spectacular during season 1 when it used traditional animation.

I saw Police Academy 3-6 in the theaters. 3 and 4 completely blur together in my mind and I'd have to watch them again to remember which moment was in which movie. 5 at least had the great moment of the Crazy Awesome Memetic Badass Eugene Tackleberry memorably subverting Threatening Shark by pointing his gun at the shark's nose and saying:

—>"You leave the swimming area NOW, Mister!"

I know I was in the theater for 6 but I can't remember anything about it.

I'm somewhat embarrassed that I used to watch the Pokémon anime with my sister. We only ever watched it on VHS though, since neither of us knew that it aired on TV.

She, my mom, and I also saw the first two movies in the theaters. Mom called Pokémon 2000 "the only movie so bad that I couldn't even sleep through it".

I used to watch Quest for Camelot often... hoo boy...

Also, the Aladdin sequels. Given that I haven't really seen any of the other Disney direct-to-video sequels off the top of my head, I guess I don't have it so bad...

Oh, and speaking of direct-to-video, I used to like The Land Before Time II. Nowadays... -cringes-

I had some teenage flirtations with Nu Metal - At one point I owned multiple albums by Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Coal Chamber, as well as t-shirts of the latter two. But re: Hapil-mia's line of thinking, I can say that to some extent this phase indirectly led me to some less embarrassing metal or Alternative Metal groups, like Deftones, Sepultura ^note At the time, a key reason I bought Roots was that I'd heard Jonathan Davis did backing vocals on one song, Faith No More, and Helmet.

I used to watch The Simpsons up to season 19 but then I realised that none of my friends were watching it anymore so I stopped.

I also used to be a big fan of tamagotchi and Neopets.

The Aladdin and Lion King sequels are actually some of the best (although still not quite as good as the first), so... yeah, you got off easy.

Considering the sequels that Disney puts out, I agree with Midna.

I used to read the British comics "Tammy", "Misty", "Jinty", "Bunty" and "Judy". Pretty much every week, for years.

...I actually find that I watch much more embarrassing stuff now than I used to when I was a kid (I was your stereotypical teachers' pet)...

...Although the fact that I saw pretty much every episode of The Saddle Club and Hélène et les garçons (Think Friends meets The Young And The Restless - actually, watching that show with the gran', too -, with no budget, little humor, Dawson Casting and the saddest garage band in history) kinda makes me want to hit my head repeatedly with a brick.
