Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

The Red Reaper is a book series as well as a novel series as well as a comic series. What would be an appropriate label for it but Franchise?
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.^What is the original medium? Franchise/ can only be used for hub pages, for works which already have 3 medium pages.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a stub work page; creator messaged.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThere was a comic prequel to the movie. So I suppose it's a movie first.
Edit:
I've moved it to Film and cleaned up the tropes I linked it to.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Today's worklist:
- Awesome.Call Of Duty Modern Warfare: ~dRoy, why did you blank the page?
- Dear White People: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Taare Zameen Par: Stub work page; creator suspended, because it's not the first time they've been warned over cutting corners with new pages.
Vygotsky School Of Summing Out Loud needs more input still.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe problem at hand with "Vygotsky School Of Summing Out Loud" can probably be easily amended.
Cutlist the page itself and cut its wicks from indices.
Cut and paste its examples into Thinking Out Loud.
With minimum rephrasing, the idea from the end of descripttion (the part on that "Lev Vygotsky studied private speech in children and reasoned that speaking out loud while performing tasks tended to help the child perform better." or something) can be a valuable addition to description of "Thinking Out Loud". Tropes are supposed to have their possible real-life roots and applicability explored, people just can't provide. There could lie a problem in verifiability and neutrality of the statement (maybe Vygotsky's findings were controversial or maybe they were summed up wrongfully by contributor; myself isn't an expert in child pedagogics history). but that's a worry usually left for stuffy encyclopedic Other Wiki, it looks like.

For Awesome.Call Of Duty Modern Warfare, the problem stems from the main page, which is credited as VideoGame.Modern Warfare. Appropriately enough, there is confusion about it.
In practice, the page should have been created under the namespace Video Game.Call Of DutyModern Warfare.
Now, we have two choices:
- Cutlist Awesome.Call Of Duty Modern Warfare
- Chainsaw the entire VideoGame.Modern Warfare namespace and rename it to VideoGame.Call Of Duty Modern Warfare.
In any case, dRoy needs to be reminded that blanking pages isn't a solution.
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainOh yeah, the page blanking.
Right, it's my bad. My original plan was to create a subpage for Awesome Moments for Modern Warfare series. When I made an URL for Awesome/ModernWarfare, however, it kept redirecting to Awesome/CallOfDuty page. So I launched a page, Awesome/CallOfDutyModernWarfare.
The problem with this was that unlike other sub-entries to the series, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Ghosts, when I launched it, it doesn't have the icon leading back to the main page. So I asked the moderators what can I do about this, and one of them kindly separated the redirect, so Awesome/ModernWarfare page was no longer redirected to Awesome/CallOfDuty page. With Awesome/ModernWarfare page now open for edit, I cut the examples out from Awesome/CallOfDutyModernWarfare and pasted it on Awesome/ModernWarfare.
I forgot to properly deal with the now blanked out page, not to mention just blanking out a whole page, and that's my bad, and I apologize. Will be more prudent the next time.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Moving from the TRS thread: Human Trial Is Human Error is launched from a poorly done YKTTW that only has one replies, and its state evidently did not getting better after the launch. It only has 4 examples, 3 wicks (2 of which are listed as index and trope comparison), and 3 inbounds. Not really sure what the definition is either, since there's no discussion or explanation about what the trope actually means.
Human Trial is Human Error sounds like it could be a trope about how trying something and getting it wrong eventually leads to a correct solution. What immediately comes to mind is a video game I recently got, Mystery Case Files: Madame Fate. where I solved a puzzle mostly by dinking around until I stumbled on the right combo of moves/pieces. That does happen in different stories from time to time.
However, as it stands, it needs to be kicked back to YKTTW for a lot of work, and could probably use a title that's less clunky-sounding.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettToday's worklist:
- Tonex: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Reviewers Unknown: Stub work page that also needs indexing; by ~minikiss.
- WMG.Payday 2: ~Angel Halo, remember to index your pages. You are already on thin ice in that regard.
Today's worklist:
- Made Of Win Archive 2013 And 2014: ~hydrix, that one should go on JustForFun.Made Of Win.
- Seasickness.Title Goes Here: Wrong title and namespace, ~quasimodoworld. Also, you ought to bring tropes through YKTTW when you cannot find any good examples (seeing as all current examples are ZCE).
- Vygotsky School Of Summing Out Loud: The creator has blanked the page: I personally agree it has to go.
I also need more input on Made On Demand and The One You Admire.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAbout Transformers: Cybertron Adventures, I made that since the game is somewhat rare, unadvertised, I owned it (2 games on a disc and it definitely was worth the bargain bin price), and above all: tropable. At the moment, I know it's a stub but this a stub that can be expanded on (as evidenced by what I just added to the page).

Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to break@2461: "Getting something wrong but leads to the correct solution" sounds too much like Right for the Wrong Reasons though.
Today's worklist:
- Human Trial Is Human Error: That's an old page; is anybody willing to boot it back to YKTTW?
- Characters.Seraphina: Why did you make this page stub-like that, ~Piv?
- Music.Yellow Submarine: Remember to crosswick your pages, ~bluesno1fann?
Also, how do we stand with respect to Call Of Duty Modern Warfare now?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAhh, geez. I try to crosswick whenever I can, but sometimes I just don't have the time
@Blues: I suggest using the Sandbox namespace to create pages. Such pages are assumed to be under construction, and you can get it up to snuff at your leisure, then copy & paste the text to the correct namespace and do the crosswicking when you have time. Then you just cutlist the Sandbox page. (Don't blank the mainspace page if you copy over the existing text to the Sandbox.)
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettToday's worklist:
- Characters. The French Revolution: ~Julian Lapostat, since when do we create character pages for RL events?
- The Continued Adventures Of RC And Input: Just as a reminder, ~Zeyphle and colleagues, so as long as a work isn't published it can't get subpages.
- A Dragon in Shining Armour: ~Digimonfan12, you created a bunch of blank subpages. What is up with that?
- Enter Elysium: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Recap.Post MU Life Scream: Someone needs to move the pages there to a more appropriate title; "Recap.Chapter X" is not work specific. I also messaged ~Commander145 about this.
- The Shadow Of Fire: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Star Trek: Section 31 - Disavowed: Stub work page; creator messaged.
This was a page listed on Summary.Webcomics:
- Webcomic.Tove: seems okay but needs crosswicking. Sent a message re: that to ~Competition.
Was gonna post about Day By Day too, but I see Septimus already brought that to the Cut List.
Not right away, not right awaySorry, for starting the Characters page on Revolution, I deleted those entries now. I will maybe start a separate page for these individuals, such as in Viva La Revolution.
A reminder for ~Julian Lapostat regarding Characters. The French Revolution and others regarding their pages: Please do not blank pages; use the Cut List to get rid of pages.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAnd now with the moderator headband off, three more works:
- Invincible Youth: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The Pantheon: A reminder for ~Grigor II to index and crosswick their pages, since they already have a number of notifications.
- Persona Labyrinth: Stub work page; creator messaged.
I did as you suggested.
I am starting to wonder whether we need a canned message for non-malicious page blanking. Seems like way too many people don't know the cutlist.
Anyhow, worklist:
- The Fall Of Hive Hunger Prime: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The Hundred Foot Journey: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Also, Made On Demand and The One You Admire still need input.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman
Today's worklist:
- Captain America Corps: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Fan Favorite: An Audience Reaction launched without YKTTW, but with decent example quality this time. It should probably get a YMMV banner, though. Calling ~Tony G here.
- Guilty As Sin: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- In His Best Condition: Stub trope with bad linking, again by markband.
- Made On Demand: Stubby trope; ~Homemaderat, you might want to run pages through YKTTW in the future.
- The Pampas: Anyone mind if I remove the RL material from the description?
- Franchise.Red Reaper: ~Charles Phipps, what is the correct namespace for this work? Franchise is not.
- Sonic And The Birdstone: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The One You Admire: Stubby trope with no crosswicking or YKTTW by ~markband. As with homemaderat, you might want to run your tropes through YKTTW.
- UsefulNotes.Belorusians With BT Rs/UsefulNotes.Danes With Drakens: Useful Notes pages lacking a worklist. These are now required for an UN to stand - by ~Str8taim.
- War of the Wikia: Stub work page; creator messaged.
