Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Glad you could join us, miriam. Those examples you gave me are going to need some context if they're to stay after what time it gets properly launched.
Incidentally, I think I'd like to play this Drunken Robot Pornography.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I've, for the time being, put This Trope on the Just for Fun index. If folks want to cut it, sure.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTrue Love Sweet Lies has been launched prematurely a second time after already being cut once for lack of content. The page creator has been messaged.

The Sims 4 is a stub with a very poor single paragraph description (with Base Breaker thrown in for good measure). It's not even indexed at the moment. I'm honestly surprised no one has worked on this in the week since launch.
Rocks fall, everyone miraculously survives.stub Let's Play page in main - Main.Tie Tuesday. Creator has been messaged. Also noted is that it looks like an advert and nothing more.
Keeper of The Celestial FlameCutlisted that. Just plain wrong that one.

Messaged the page creator of Fanfic.Kirby Of The Stars The After Story about crosswicking, I forgot completely about it when I informed them how to do single wiki links and indexing.

Another worklist:
- Angry Santa Elf: Not only a stub article; are you sure it belongs in that namespace, ~Rowdycmoore.
- Krosmaster: Since when do we have pages listing rules for offsite tabletop games? Especially when unindexed and not compliant with Useful Notes guidelines (—> UN pages need to cite at least 3 pertinent works of fiction)? By ~Phantom Dusclops 92.
- Rise Of The Shadow King: Stub work page; creator messaged.
I did the Krosmaster one because I thought that if Yu Gi Oh can have his own Useful Notes page detailing the rules, every tabletop game described on this site should have one... Sorry.
The best character is always the one-shot disguise.I hope I don't come across as rude; I'm just summarizing my understanding of our rules, guidelines, and policies.
- "We have X so we should have Y" is never a good argument for anything. Wikipedia calls it the Pokemon Test, and it's more likely to highlight that X shouldn't exist than to prove that Y should exist. It also disregards a lot of context that isn't identical between the two pages. If X and Y were really identical, we wouldn't need Y because we already have X. If they're different, then they need to be considered on their own merits.
- Yu Gi Oh is a game that is prominently featured in a fictional work aside from the game itself (i.e., anime, manga, probably some literature too). It's also a fully-realized game that (as far as I know) is represented realistically in the other works, so understanding the rules helps to follow the story. As far as I know, Krosmaster is just a game. The only benefit you'll gain from understanding the rules of Krosmaster is... being able to play Krosmaster. It's not going to give you insight into Krosmaster: The Movie, et cetera.
- To put it another way, we don't have UsefulNotes.Yu Gi Oh because we want to have rules pages for tabletop games. We have UsefulNotes.Yu Gi Oh because the rules are relevant to something outside of the game itself.
- And as stated above, it violates policy in that Useful Notes pages need to reference a number of fictional works. This is because "Useful Notes" is not the purpose of the wiki; they are only appropriate insofar as they relate to fiction.

I put Angry Santa Elf under the Web Original namespace after much deliberation as to what would be the best one. If there are suggestions to a better placement, I am definitely open to them. Also, as for it being a stub, I am working on improving it as soon as possible, including links, and it is definitely open to adding Tropes; I will do my best to work on adding ones I can think of myself.
As I understand it, some of the manga/anime Duel Monsters stuff is workable in real life, but some only works because of the holographic/dark magic visuals. In a sense, knowing the difference between what is restricted to fiction, and can easily go on the main page, and what is permitted in RL, and may be restricted to Trivia or YMMV, is part of the point of Useful Notes.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettParallel Conflict Sequence and Sand Necktie launched with hats lacking. Sand Necktie drastically differs from ykttw draft and was positioned as a split of similar sort of tangential examples off another page. TRS was unimpressive. If it's good, it has to do with luck as well.
Parallel Conflict Sequence is a newly proposed thing. Its description sucks (pardon my French, and mind my being opposed to final trope descriptions regularly). Some tweaks are done or are being done (first time I looked, it was yet to be indexed), but this thing wouldn't get enough hats deservedly.
It has two generic examples in place of trope description, tepid related tropes section, several examples violate "Keep it an example" from How To Write An Example, other violations no one had the chance to object to in ykttw. It has just been launched as soon as 3 days limit ran out and a button appeared. ~Godzillasaurus was the sponsor. Didn't message anyone.

Calling ~Godzillasaurus with reference to Nemoru's post; ~Godzillasaurus doesn't do anything. The description of Parallel Conflict Sequence is so-so, yeah. Regarding Sand Necktie, the description seems fairly straightforward but I have questions about whether the TRS was really concluded, as well as by the rushed launch of the YKTTW - calling ~lazybanshee here too.
Otherwise, worklist:
- Rich Kids of Beverly Hills: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The Rise Of Spike The Dragon: Stub work page; creator messaged.
I agree that I have arguably overstepped my authority in launching a page without reaching an official consensus in the form of a crowner.
However, I have not seen a single person say nay to splitting, the relation between Buried Alive and Beach Bury has confused the Lost and Found users, as well as, more than evidently, other tropers: there has been a bunch of examples in Buried Alive that went to the main section rather than the arbitrarily chosen second one, and a bunch of examples in Beach Bury too.
Finally, I insist that they are separate tropes, mostly because of their vastly different imagery, and can defend that point if anyone makes the case that it is otherwise... but no one made that case.
I actually think I should not have made an YKTTW in the first place. It is a tool, after all: what if someone writes an article whole cloth with as bunch of examples and a good description and title, and then, to borrow from the SCP wiki, cold posts it?

I joined the police just to kill people.Nemuru Mae Ni and Septimus Heap:
You two might want to have a bit more caution and common sense before explicitly insulting me and my trope. I am an inexperienced troper, and all of the criticism I have been met with on this site has been rude and unfriendly (as opposed to being helpful and agreeable). If you want to insult and attack me while your complaints should have been expressed in a helpful and friendly manner, please do so with a bit more consideration for the feelings of others.
I love animals, Marvel films, and giant movie monsters!
Oops, sorry about launching the Non Dancing Ballet Characters improperly—do whatever you want to do with it.
