Rename (alt titles 4/24): Different As Night And Day

Nothing about the trope's name suggests that it's exclusive to twins. While not rampant, I'm seeing misuse in a few places (Growing Up Creepie, Lost, La Piel Que Habito, Micro Machines, etc.). Hell, I even misused it a couple times because the name didn't sound like a "twins only" trope.

I... had no idea that this was twins only. Supporting a change to something that mentions twins. Twin Yin Yang, to go with Sibling Yin-Yang?

EDIT: Oh, it's named for a line in the theme tune of some show. Lovely. And the description itself is overly narrow: it sounds as if this trope requires that the twins are the central characters.

This seems like an easy fix. Twins As Different As Night And Day, done.

That could be said in fewer words though.

I actually prefer the first name you suggested, because it's closer to the current name and will save us some of the backlash.

I think Twin Yin Yang would actually be the best though.

Well, it is the subtrope of Sibling Yin-Yang.

As name is indicative it is about different twins, I'm good. I don't really think different when I think yin yang. I think "balanced" or "martial arts movies". Maybe there is something wrong with my thinking if everyone else gets it.

It should be noted that "different as night and day" is a common idiom.

Yin Yang Twins is functional, but dry.

Support redefining this trope, if there's something there, and doing a Trope Transplant of the twin exclusive version to somewhere else. Yin Yang Twins is okay. Maybe Polar Opposite Twins or something?

I love Twin Yang, but it's probably too unclear.

Wizards makes me think Opposite Magnetic Twins.

Polar Opposite Twins, Contrasting Twins, etc would be the most concise way of changing the name.

Wick Check please. At 372 wicks, I'd rather not make a major change without signs of drastic misuse. And if we do change it, I like Cider's suggestion.

I think the Engine Sentai Go-onger one might be wrong. Was it talking about Mio and Hiroto (the Silver and Gold rangers)? Those two aren't identical twins.
