    Stain

Chizome Akagaro — Stain

Quirk: Bloodcurdle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/stain_anime_profile_5.png

Chizome Akagaro, infamously known as the Hero Killer: Stain, is a mass murderer known for purging many Pro Heroes who don't fit his standards as to how heroes should be. He believes all heroes should be altruistic like All Might and those who aren't are fakes who are simply into heroism for the sake of fame and money. He's the villain responsible for severely wounding Tenya's brother, Ingenium, that ended his career as a Pro Hero.

  • '90s Anti-Hero: Stain is a Hero Killer who kills heroes because he strongly believes that people who do hero work for fame or money should be purged for the sake of a better hero society.
  • Anti-Villain: While he is a mass murderer who has killed many and disabled many heroes, Stain's goals and ideology are what set him apart from typical villains.
  • Bad Powers, Bad People: He's a violent killer with a Quirk that allows him to paralyze his enemies, leaving them unable to defend themselves from him and his blades. Truly, a deadly combination.
  • Blade Enthusiast: Stain's primary weapons are his wide array of blades ranging from swords to throwing knives.
  • Career-Ending Injury: In the off chance he doesn't kill his targets, Stain instead cripples them so that they can never do hero work again. This is what he does to Tenya's brother, Ingenium.
  • Charles Atlas Superpower: His speed, strength, and fighting skills are 100% natural, no Quirk involved. This is especially impressive as he's able to face off against Mirko without much effort, even when she had Izuku, Shoto, and Tenya backing him up.
  • The Determinator: Even after taking a pummeling from Izuku, Mirko, Shoto, Tenya, and Bumblebee; he only stayed unconscious for a short while before waking up to take down the flying Nomu that was attempting to kidnap Izuku. His drive to murder all fake heroes is so strong that it even frightened Mirko. It took one of his bones piercing his lungs to finally knock him out.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • In spite of being a mass-murdering loon, Stain finds Shigaraki and his plans to be vile, equating him to a child throwing a temper tantrum, and stating that spilling blood without (what he considers to be) a proper cause is senseless.
    • His reasoning for crippling and even killing heroes is that they don't adhere to his standard for what a hero must be like. Personal pride, vendetta, or just not measuring up are all reasons for Stain to target you. In a sense, you could call it "evil because he has standards."
  • Hero Killer: His main MO; Stain goes around killing Pro Heroes who aren't as heroic and selfless like All Might.
  • Hero-Worshipper: A rather twisted example of the trope. He admires All Might for his altruistic and selfless deeds and believes that any hero who lacks those traits deserve to be purged for the sake of a better society.
  • The Worf Effect: He manages to hold his own against Tenya, Izuku, Mirko, and Shoto all at once, but when Bumblebee arrives on the scene, Stain finds himself being snatched up by the much bigger Autobot before being pummeled into a wall and the pavement multiple times, thoroughly knocking him out.

    Inko Midoriya

Inko Midoriya

Quirk: Levitation

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/inko_midoriya_present_anime_2.png

Inko Midoriya is Izuku's mother who loves and cares deeply about her son. Emotional and prone to hysterical tears, Inko worries about her son constantly ever since he started getting into dangerous situations ever since he started training at U.A. to be a hero.

  • Damsel in Distress: Gets knocked out and kidnapped by Nanosec under the orders of Swindle and MECH.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Her Quirk was never given a official name in canon. Here, it is called Levitation.
  • Like Mother, Like Son: It's pretty clear were Izuku got his looks and personality from. Inko is genuinely friendly to everyone she meets, a trait picked up by her son.
  • Ocular Gushers: She's known for her constant crying over her son. While watching the Sports Festival, she cried so much that she literally flooded her whole apartment.
  • Shipper on Deck: She's thrilled over the fact that Izuku has a crush on Kyoka and is hoping that the two become a couple.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: It's pretty obvious that Izuku didn't only take after his mom personality-wise as she too also has green eyes and green hair.

    Mika and Kyotoku Jiro

Mika and Kyotoku Jiro

Quirk: Earphone Jack (Mika), Power Lung (Kyotoku)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jiro_family.png

Mika and Kyotoku Jiro are the mother and father of Kyoka.

Tropes applying to both of them
  • Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: Kyotoku is very overprotective of Kyoka, much to his daughter's chagrin. When he noticed that Kyoka was hanging around boys he immediately became suspicious and wanted to know more about them. It's also implied that Mika is also this as upon promising to bring Izuku over to dinner once their internships were over, Kyoka was worried her mom might bring out her baby pictures.
  • Family Theme Naming: Kyoka's name is a combination of her parents' names, Kyotoku and Mika.
  • It Runs in the Family: Both Kyotoku and Mika are musicians, making it pretty clear where Kyoka got her musical talent from.
  • Parents in Distress: Both of them get knocked out by Professor Sutton's Knock Out Gas and kidnapped under the orders of Swindle and MECH.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Kyoka has the same eye color and shape as her father, and her mother's hair (in a different hairstyle though) and Quirk.
Tropes that apply to Mika Tropes that apply to Kyotoku
  • Adaptation Expansion: It was never specified what kind of Quirk Kyotoku had in canon. Here, it's dubbed as Power Lung, which he uses to make music.
  • Boyfriend-Blocking Dad: Kyotoku gets overprotective whenever his daughter hangs around boys. Upon seeing Kyoka with Izuku and Brian (Bumblebee's holoform), he immediately gets suspicious and attempts to find out more about them only to be stopped by Mika.
    • Ironically, Kyotoku himself was subjected to this by Mika's father, when the two of them started dating as teens.
  • Vacuum Mouth: Kyotoku's Quirk, Power Lung, is a minor version of this as it allows him to store air in his lungs for an extended period of time, even when he is screaming at high-volume, making it useful for a singer.

    Naomasa Tsukauchi

Naomasa Tsukauchi

Quirk: Human Lie Detector

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/naomasa_tsukauchi.png

A police officer who is a lifelong friend of All Might and is one of the few people outside U.A. who knows his secret. He's currently investigating the origins and nature of the League of Villains.

  • Secret-Keeper:
    • He's one of the few people outside of U.A. to know of All Might's injury as well as One For All.
    • He later comes to know of the Cybertronian war.

    Yusei Hatsume

Yusei Hatsume

Quirk: Transport Target

Yusei Hatsume is Mei's uncle and the head engineer of Hatsume Auto Repair.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Mei fondly calls him "Uncle Yu".
  • Camera Lock-On: Yusei's Quirk, Transport Target, gives him the ability to lock on to any object and analyze it so that his brain knows how to fix it if it's broken. It's how he's able to fix broken parts in various cars.
  • Childhood Friends: He and All Might knew each other since middle school.
  • Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: He tries his best to rein in Mei's eccentricities and even tries to encourage Mei to socialize with her friends more often, the latter he does in vain.
  • The Engineer: He specializes in repairing cars and other vehicles.
  • Original Character: He's not a part of the cast of MHA; and was introduced as an original character by the author.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: After Chapter 7 of the Bumblebee arc, he disappears for the rest of the story. Although in Chapter 3 of Earthrise, he mentions that he won’t tell anyone about the Autobots by Sector 7.

    Isaac Sumdac

Isaac Sumdac

Quirk: N/A

A famous scientist and inventor on Earth who is the Head of his company, Sumdac Systems.

  • The Ghost: He's so far only mentioned by other characters and is yet to make an official appearance.

Cybertron

    Alpha Trion

Alpha Trion

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/copalphatrion.jpg

One of the original Thirteen Primes and Optimus Prime's mentor back when he was Orion Pax.

  • Ambiguous Situation: Optimus can't be sure if Trion predicted certain things would happen by sending the Iacon relics to Earth or if he used the Quill and the Covenant of Primus to alter events so they would happen in a certain way.
  • Artifact of Power: His Quill, when used in conjunction with the Covenant of Primus allowed Trion to not just record all of Cybertron's history, but to even alter future events.
  • Cool Old Guy: Incredibly old even by Transformers standards but he was a wise and cool mentor for Optimus.
  • Mentor Archetype: For an archivist Orion Pax who would one day become Optimus Prime.
  • Posthumous Character: He was killed by Megatron during the War long ago, but his spirit still aids Optimus through the Matrix.
  • Rewriting Reality: His Quill in conjunction with the Covenant of Primus allowed him to do this to a small degree.
  • Robot Hair: Mei can't help but be impressed by a robot so old he grew a long white beard.
  • Wizard Beard: His signature long white metal beard.

    Maccadam

Maccadam

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyberverse_maccadam_art_1.jpg

A very old Cybertronian who owned Maccadam's Oil House. He was capable of seeing into the future.

  • Aliens Speaking English: He speaks with a British accent despite being from Cybertron.
  • The Bartender: He was the bartender and owner of his own oil bar called "Maccadam's Oil House".
  • Cool Old Guy: Just as old as Alpha Trion, but a Big Fun kind of bot.
  • Seers: He could see into the future and use that knowledge to help other Cybertronians.
  • The Tape Knew You Would Say That: His ability to see into the future allowed him to leave a message that he knew Optimus would react to.

Velocitron

    Wildbrake

Wildbrake

Alt Mode: Velocitronian dragster

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyb_brakedown_boxart.JPG

One of the oldest bots on Velocitron.

  • Adaptation Name Change: In Transformers: Cybertron he's called Brakedown (Autolander in the original Japanese). The author changed it to Wildbrake to differentiate him from the Stunticon Breakdown.
  • Leeroy Jenkins: Implied to be the case as he muses how in his heyday that the common strategy in a team when infiltrating the enemy is to go guns-a-blazing.
  • Old Soldier: He might be an old bot, but he's still quite willing to fight with his Cyber Key Power.
  • Student–Master Team: With his young student Clocker.

    Clocker

Clocker

Alt Mode: Velocitronian open-topped race car

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cgiclockermodel.jpg

A young bot who hangs out with Wildbrake.

    Ransack

Ransack

Alt Mode: Velocitronian motorcycle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyb_ransack_card.jpg

Ransack is the brains of the gruesome twosome with Crumplezone... but that's not saying very much at all, since Crumplezone is dumb as a bag of hammers.

  • Big Guy, Little Guy: The Little Guy to Crumplezone's Big Guy.
  • Butt-Monkey: Neither Dirt Boss nor Axlegrease have much respect for his or Crumplezone's capabilities.
  • Cool Bike: He turns into a motorcycle.
  • Red/Green Contrast: His bright red paint job serves as contrast to Crumplezone's green one.
  • Those Two Guys: Never seen without his big buddy Crumplezone.

    Crumplezone

Crumplezone

Alt Mode: Velocitronian three-wheeled rocket car

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/crumplezone.jpg

The largest and possibly slowest inhabitant of Velocitron (yet speed-wise he can still smoke most off-worlders), Crumplezone is undeniably the brawn of the gruesome twosome formed with the weaselly Ransack.

    Dirt Boss

Dirt Boss

Alt Mode: Velocitronian monster truck

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyb_dirtboss_boxart_4.jpg

Dirt Boss hails from Velocitron's "baja" sector, and boy, is he angry. On the racetrack he's outright psychotic, using his oversized tires to eat up ground and crush down anyone who gets in his way.

  • Bad Boss: He treats Ransack and Crumplezone like crap.
  • I Work Alone: He openly says so. The incompetence of his thugs and Axlegrease's dismissal of his capabilities do not help.
  • Meaningful Name: He's a boss who treats his subordinates like dirt.
  • Secondary Color Nemesis: He's bright green and purple and a ruthless Velocitronian.
  • Shoulder Cannon: While using his Cyber-Key his cannons move to his shoulders.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: He doesn't like taking orders from Axlegrease and would work alone if he could.

    Knock Out

Knock Out

Alt Mode: Velocitronian roadster

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/knockout_render.jpg

A Velocitronian doctor, he's slick, smooth, stylish... and more than a little conceited.

  • Adaptational Heroism: While he eventually pulled a Heel–Face Turn in the Aligned continuity, he was a Decepticon at the beginning. Here, while he was unfriendly to the Kimia crew when he finds out that they are Autobots, he is an innocent inhabitant of Velocitron, taking care of Moonracer along with Breakneck.
  • Agent Peacock: He might be a dandy and his body is described as somewhat feminine, but he's also a very good doctor and a competent fighter.
  • Brains and Brawn: The brains to Breakneck's brawn.
  • Masculine–Feminine Gay Couple: He and Breakneck are each other's Conjunx Endura with Knock Out the Feminine to Breakneck's Masculine.
  • Misplaced Retribution: He tries to pick a fight with the Autobots who landed on the planet since he blames them for Velocitron getting cut off from the rest of the colonies, even though Optimus did it reluctantly and the Autobots present weren't involved with that decision.
  • This Is a Drill: One of his weapons is turning his hand into a drill.
  • Watch The Paintjob: He's just as concerned as Sunstreaker about preserving his paintjob.

    Breakneck

Breakneck

Alt Mode: Velocitronian armored truck

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/primebreakdown_howtodraw.jpg

A tough bot and a close friend of Knock Out's.

    Override

Override

Alt Mode: Velocitronian race car

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/map_override.jpg

Override is the best racer on Velocitron, and as such is the leader of the planet.

Junkion

    Axlegrease

Axlegrease

Alt Mode: Junkion muscle car

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/legacy_boxart_axlegrease_5.jpeg

The self-proclaimed "Junkion Queen", she and her group of Junkions left their home due to not liking the way Wreck-Gar was running things.

    Scraphook

Scraphook

Alt Mode: Junkion tow truck

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scraphook_packagingart.jpg
  • Adaptational Villainy: In the Legacy toyline, Scraphook was aligned with the Autobots, but here he's a rogue Junkion.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio: He's the (comparatively) Thin to Crashbar's Short and Trashmaster's Big.
  • Co-Dragons: Alongside Crashbar and Trashmaster they're this for Axlegrease.
  • Combining Mecha: He can combine with his fellow Junkions to create Junkasaurus.
  • Eyepatch of Power: He covers his missing left eye with an eyepatch.
  • Hooks and Crooks: As indicated by his name, he also fights using a hook pistol from his truck mode.
  • Oh, Crap!: His reaction to Breakneck being so tough getting shot in the back doesn't even faze him, right before Breakneck grabs him by the neck and then sends him flying with a throw.

    Crashbar

Crashbar

Alt Mode: Junkion motorcycle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/crashbar_packagingart_7.jpg
The Junkion known as Crashbar may not be as big as his fellow Junkion bikes, but he can prove to be a big challenge to anyone who crosses him.
  • Adaptational Villainy: In the Legacy toyline, Crashbar was aligned with the Autobots, but here he's a rogue Junkion.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio: The Short to Scraphook's Thin and Trashmaster's Big.
  • Co-Dragons: Alongside Scraphook and Trashmaster they're this for Axlegrease.
  • Combining Mecha: He can combine with his fellow Junkions to create Junkasaurus.
  • Expy: Of Junkrat, right down to their love of explosives.
  • Mad Bomber: Unsurprising, considering who he's based on.

    Trashmaster

Trashmaster

Alt Mode: Junkion garbage truck

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/trashmaster_packagingart.jpg
  • Adaptational Villainy: In the Legacy toyline, Trashmaster was aligned with the Autobots, but here he's a rogue Junkion.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio: The Big to Scraphook's Thin and Crashbar's Short.
  • The Brute: He's the biggest of the rogue Junkions and he makes up Junkasaurus' head and torso.
  • Combining Mecha: He can combine with his fellow Junkions to create Junkasaurus.
  • Expy: Of Roadhog.
  • Hulk Speak: Junkasaurus speaks this way.
  • Super Mode: Junkasaurus is less a true combiner and more of a superpowered mode for Trashmaster.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Junkasaurus makes the mistake of thinking he can match Rail Racer, only to get reduced to his individual components with no effort.
