MECH

    In General
  • Anti-Magical Faction: They are an organization composed mostly of Quirkless individuals.
  • Badass Normal: They are Quirkless villains who can fight on par with some of Japan's Top 10 Heroes with the use of their advanced technology.
  • Big Bad Duumvirate: Forms this with Swindle and Skullcruncher at the end of Chapter 66.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: While MECH is working with Black, their relationship is solely pragmatic, and neither Silas nor his men seem to like him.
  • Un-Sorcerer: According to Silas, the majority of MECH's members are Quirkless individuals who wish to change the world through the use of advanced technology to replace the society of Heroes and Villains.
  • Villain Team-Up: Forms this with Swindle and Skullcruncher at the end of Chapter 66.

    Silas

Quirk: Quirkless

Silas is the leader of the terrorist organization known as MECH who wishes to destroy superhuman society by stealing the most advanced pieces of technology.

  • Foil: To Fowler. Two serious, capable, highly trained, and experienced military men. Fowler still serves his country and his planet as liaison to the Autobots, while Silas left the service in disgrace and now works towards a darker purpose. For bonus points, if Silas's word is true, then both of them are Quirkless.
  • Hypocrite: For all his complaints about the world spawning Heroes and Villains due to the existence of Quirks, Silas has no problem creating villains of his own. Agent Fowler and Optimus even lampshade this.
  • Soft-Spoken Sadist: From the way he and Swindle were planning on kidnapping the U.A. students' parents, he seems to be getting a kick out of "demoralising them in the most harrowing way possible".
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: In a way, Silas is one to Flect Turn. Both are leaders of villainous organizations who see Quirks as a problem of the world (MECH and Humarise, respectively). While Flect believes that Quirks will lead to humanity's extinction, Silas sees Quirks as the reason why humanity has stagnated in technological advancements. Both use their organization's vast resources to get rid of Hero Society entirely.
  • Villain Has a Point: In his debut speech to Fowler, Silas points out how it seems like all the advances in technology these days are good for is providing support gear for heroes instead of using them to help those who needed it most, such as the Quirkless. He's also right in pointing out that humanity has stagnated in developing space travel due to the existence of Quirks.

    Mr. Black

Quirk: N/A

A scientist who works with MECH as well as their main investor who provides them their technology, along with the work of his Enforcers.

  • Adaptational Origin Connection: In addition to being the one who created the enhancements that Rhodes uses and a major investor of MECH, he's at least partially behind Sexton, Archer, and Sutton's abilities.
  • Cut Lex Luthor a Check: Black was able to create technology that grants superpowers to regular Muggle criminals, allowing them to contend with some of the Top 10 Pro Heroes of Japan. Considering the world of My Hero is one where Everyone Is a Super, such technology would've revolutionised the world.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Black may be good at what he does, but his smug and arrogant personality really annoys Silas and his men.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: He despises Isaac Sumdac for his success, and wishes to destroy the Autobots before he gets to meet them.
  • Mythology Gag: In TFA's original concept, Meltdown would've been responsible for ALL of the human villains in the show. Here, he is for the Enforcers, who are the villains from Animated.
  • The Team Benefactor: He's MECH's main investor and is the one responsible for creating most of the technology that its members possess.

Cyrus "The Colossus" Rhodes is a biotech-enhanced human who works for Mr. Black as the leader of the Enforcers. His enhancements allow him to energize super steroids from the pistons and turn him from a frail old man into a muscular brute. He's the leader of Black's Enforcers.

  • The Dragon: As the leader of his Enforcers, he's this to Mr. Black.
  • Expy: He uses steroids to give himself a boost in strength in a manner similar to Bane from DC Comics.
  • Growing Muscles Sequence: The pistons on his back allow him to charge up super steroids to turn him from a frail old man to a muscular brute.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Initially he didn't want to leave the fight until they finished the mission, but when Black lets him know of the current situation he calls in for a retreat.
  • The Leader: To Black's Enforcers.
  • The Juggernaut: The pistons on his back bulk him up to the point where he becomes one.
  • Super-Strength: His steroids give him enough strength and bulk to wrestle Ryukyu in her dragon form.

Quirk: Quirkless

A Robin Hood-ish figure who works with Mr. Black's Enforcers. He also has a habit of speaking in quasi-Shakespearean diction

  • Alliterative Name: His first, middle, and last name all begin with the letter A.
  • Artificial Limbs: Archer's left hand is completely robotic and has only three fingers. He also has spare arrows stored inside it where he can pull from.
  • Domino Mask: Wears a green domino mask.
  • Just Like Robin Hood: His costume is a parody of the green archer himself.
  • Trick Arrow: He uses a wide variety of arrows:
    • Having a Blast: He carries explosive arrows.
    • An Ice Person: His ice arrows can freeze his targets in a block of ice.
    • Smoke Out: One of his arrows can produce a smokescreen that allowed him and his allies to escape.
  • Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe: He talks as if he's from one of Shakespeare's plays.

    Professor Sutton

Prof. Penelope Sutton - Professor Princess

Quirk: Quirkless

A 16-year-old girl who graduated from university, earning a Ph.D. She works with Mr. Black's Enforcers.

  • Adaptation Dye-Job: In "Animated", Professor Princess had pink hair. Here, her hair is described as blonde hair with the tips highlighted in pink.
  • Age Lift: Is a teenager in this universe, rather than a child like in canon.
  • Child Prodigy: She's a real Professor and built her own weapons, and presumably helped worked on her colleagues' tech too.
  • Insistent Terminology: Prefers to be called Professor Sutton.
  • Knock Out Gas: She uses this to knock Kyoka's parents unconscious and kidnap them.
  • The Paralyzer: Her particle beam allows her to stun anyone she aims it at like she did to Edgeshot.
  • The Smurfette Principle: The only female villain amongst Black's Enforcers.
  • Valley Girl: She, like, totally speaks like one.
