House of El
Lois Lane-Kent
- Action Mom: The biological mother of Jon, Laura, Carol and Jane, and stepmother of Conner, Mia and Chris. While she's certainly not as powerful as her children, she sure can defend herself.
- Affectionate Nickname: Lois has been known to call Clark Kent "Smallville"
- Alliterative Name: Lois Lane.
- Almighty Mom: When it comes to her family, she is the undisputed boss, she doesn't care if you're Superman (her husband), Superboy, Supergirl II & Zenith (her adopted children), Jon, Laura, Carol and Jane (Her biological children) the goddamn Batman or Wonder Woman, you will act like civilized people around her home.
- Badass Normal: Very much so. She's a crusading idealist who works as a reporter to bring down corrupt elements, and she's got the martial arts skills to back up her idealism.
- Brutal Honesty: Lois is very outspoken and highly opinionated. She won't hesitate to speak exactly what is on her mind, no matter how blunt or out there it is.
- Constantly Curious: Lois' nosiness and endless curiosity constantly gets her into a lot of trouble and into a lot of sticky situations.
- Cosmic Plaything: Some of the things Lois experienced happened because she was connected to Superman... and others just happened out of nowhere.
- Damsel in Distress: The major example in the superhero world. To the point of some meta jokes about it, and some savvy comments.
- Damsel out of Distress: Lois has this nerve every time. This is a woman who is caught by villains all the time, but only because she's Genre Savvy enough to know that if she does so she'll not only get the scoop on the front page story, but also survive to write it.
- Distress Ball: Oh so very often. She followed her journalistic instincts into danger so frequently it's a miracle she ever survived before having the personal attentions of a Physical God (aka Superman).
- Deadpan Snarker: From day one, She's always got a good quip or two up her sleeve.
- The Gadfly: Constantly cracks jokes at other people expense, Clark being her favorite target.
- Going for the Big Scoop: Frequently. She is a reporter after all.
- Good Stepmother: Lois couldn't care less that Mia is a test-tube baby, or that Chris is the offspring of one of her husband's archenemies, or that Conner is both. As far as she's concerned, they're her sons and daughter.
- Happily Married: Ends up Married with Clark.
- Hidden Heart of Gold: (she is fiercely loyal, after all). She does often attempt to hide her softer side, but the truth is she's willing to go to the ends of the earth to fight for justice and protect the people she loves.
- Informed Attribute: Lois's skills and reputation as an unstoppable and awesome reporter.
- Interspecies Romance: With Clark Kent/Superman. Clark is a Kryptonian and Lois is a human.
- Mama Bear: While she has no powers, you either mess or insult her adopted and biological children. You will not be safe of her wrath.
- Military Brat: She's the eldest daughter of Colonel Lane.
- The Nicknamer: Lois comes up with multiple nicknames for Clark. 'Smallville' is the most famous and prominent one.
- Official Couple: With Clark.
- Secret-Keeper: She knows Clark is Superman.
- Smoking Is Not Cool: Lois used to be a smoker, but quit when she became pregnant.
- Snark-to-Snark Combat: Constantly with many characters, but especially Clark. She always seems to bring out his wittier side.
- Statuesque Stunner: While much shorter than Clark, she's still 5'9"/175cm tall.
- Tsundere:
- Like her incarnations, Superman almost always gets the dere side and everyone else gets mostly tsun, but there's overlap; once she's known Clark for a while, she tends to be about half-and-half with him.
- Now she's been married to Clark, he and Perry and Jimmy have exclusive rights to her dere side while everyone else gets her (genuinely intimidating) tsun side.

- Good Parents: Is thanks to them Clark grows up to be a hero.
- Granny Classic: Martha is a sweet, mid-western housewife who loves her family very much. That doesn't mean she's harmless.
- Happily Married: Very much a happy marriage.
- Muggle Foster Parents: No powers of their own, but they did their best to help their superpowered adoptive child live a relatively normal life and use his powers for good, and it shows.
- One-Steve Limit: Martha shares name with Bruce Wayne's mother.
- Posthumous Character: Jonathan has already passed away by the time of the story.
- Upbringing Makes the Hero: It is a major theme in the Superman mythos how their upbringing of Clark, and the values they have instilled into him are instrumental in shaping him into who he is.
Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van

- Aerith and Bob: Lara is a human name. Jor-El isn't.
- Death by Origin Story: One of the most famous examples alongside Thomas and Martha Wayne.
- Fling a Light into the Future: They sent their only son in a rocket to Earth
- Posthumous Character: They made the fateful decision to save their only child, Kal-El, from Krypton's destruction and sent him off into space, heading toward Earth. Jor-El and Lara perished with the rest of Krypton.
- Prim and Proper Bun: Lara had one.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Kal inherited most of his father's looks, but his mother's eyes.
Jonathan "Jon" Kent/Jon-El (Superboy 2.0)

The first born child and son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
- Dead Guy Junior: Jon's named after his adopted paternal grandfather Jonathan Kent. And his Kryptonian name is after his biological grandfather Jor-El ("Jon-El" which is just one letter off from "Jor-El").
- Farm Boy: Runs in the family.
- Flying Brick: Being part-Kryptonian (and the son of the Trope Codifier) naturally makes him this, with all of the associated powers.
- Half-Human Hybrid: Jon's the first naturally-born Human-Kryptonian hybrid.
- Innocent Blue Eyes: Shares his father's icy blue eyes and remains cheerful as ever amidst things that would traumatize any other child.
- Kryptonite Factor: His powers are tied to his Kryptonian heritage and thus will short out if he's exposed to Kryptonite or kept away from yellow sunlight for an extended period of time.
- Messy Hair: As shown by the picture above, his hair is pretty unruly in his downtime and while on the job, but it's combed more neatly for school-related matters.
- Mind over Matter: Like his older brothers Connor and Chris he has Tactile Telekinesis.
- Mythology Gag: Jon's middle school, the Dan Jurgens Middle School is a nod to his creator Dan Jurgens.
- Power Incontinence: Jon is still growing in his powers, so they tend to fluctuate in and out in how strong they are and if they work at all.
- Superpower Lottery: He's developing his dad's Kryptonian powerset and is stated to have the potential to become even more powerful than his father. That's not even taking the fact that Jon might manifest unique powers of his own.
- Super-Senses: Like his dad, Jon is armed with Super-Vision of all kinds, from X-Ray to Telescopic. He also possesses his father's Super-Hearing
- Super-Speed: Like his father he has super speed which is his first superpower.
- Traumatic Superpower Awakening: Played with. Jon's powers are most likely to work when he's emotionally charged, but they continue to fluctuate in and out when he least expects it and he has yet to achieve full control over it.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: Heavy on the Vitriolic towards Damian Wayne.
Laura Kent/Lara Kal-El
Second born child and eldest daughter of Clark and Lois.
- Composite Character: Laura is a composite character of Lara from The Dark Knight Strikes Again, Laura Kent from Superman Family #200, and Lara Lane-Kent from Injustice.
- Dead Guy Junior: Laura's kryptonian name, Lara Kal-El is named after her biological paternal grandmother Lara Lor-Van.
- Farm Girl: Runs in the family.
- Flying Brick: Being part-Kryptonian (and the daughter of the Trope Codifier) naturally makes her this, with all of the associated powers.
- Girlish Pig Tails: She has tied pig tails on her hair.
- Half-Human Hybrid: Laura's the second naturally-born Human-Kryptonian hybrid.

Carol and Jane Kent/Cara Kal-El and Jana Kal-El

The respective third and fourth children and youngest daughters of Clark and Lois.
- Always Identical Twins: Both Carol and Jane are identical twins sharing the same hair and eyes.
- The Baby of the Bunch: Both twins are the youngest of the Kent Family.
- Canon Immigrant: Both Carol and Jane are originated from the Non-canon mini-series comic Superman: Secret Identity, where they were the children of a man who was named after Superman in-universe and a different woman named Lois.
- Half-Human Hybrid: Carol and Jane are the third and fourth naturally-born Human-Kryptonian hybrids.
- Identical Twin ID Tag: Carol (left) has a ponytail and is wearing a red ketchup t-shirt while Jane (right) has a pig tails and is wearing a yellow mustard t-shirt.
- Race Lift: In Superman: Secret Identity, Carol and Jane are actually biracial, with their mother being an Indian American woman named Lois Chaudhari and a different, human born Clark Kent. Here, they're the children of the traditional Clark Kent and Lois Lane, making them half-Kryptonian and fully Caucasian in appearance.
- Strong Family Resemblance: They shared their mother's brown hair and eyes.
Krypto
Krypto is the House of El's Kryptonian dog. He possesses all of the sun-born abilities of his masters, as well as super-canine intelligence.
- Animal Superheroes: He is essentially the canine counterparts of Superman.
- Canine Companion To Superman and Power Girl and the rest of the Kent Family and House Of El.
- Canis Major: He's bigger than the average Wolf-Dog.
- Composite Character: He's combined with Wolf from Young Justice, hence his wolf-like appearance.
- Flying Brick: He's a Kryptonian wolf-dog. Duh.
- Heroes Love Dogs: Provides the page image.
- Heroic Dog: A superheroic wolf-dog all the same powers as Superman.
- Noble Wolf: A white dog who happens to be one of the most powerful living creatures on Earth, perhaps in the whole universe.
- Superpower Lottery: Has all of Superman's powers, adjusted accordingly for his being a wolf. This means, for the record, that his Super-Senses are among the most powerful in the DC Universe.
- Undying Loyalty: To Superman, Power Girl, Superboy and the Kents.
- Team Pet: To Young Justice, this doesn't stop him from being treated like any other operative on missions.
Kelex
- Artificial Intelligence: He's actually one.
- Colony Drop: Kelex was once part of a Kryptonian colony ship arrived on Earth, establishing a small colony in what is today northern Canada, intending to form a colony in a remote location to monitor and study the human population which ancient Kryptonian probes detected to share a common ancestor with Kryptonians. Unfortunately, the Kryptonian colonists became sick due to particles collected on the hull of their ship during their voyage. The majority of the Kryptonian colonists perished and those that did survive the plague were left weak and forced to abandon their ship to suffer the elements. 700 years later Kelex shuts down after creating the cure.
- Composite Character: His appearance is based of the Kelex of Supergirl (2015) tv series.
- Full-Name Basis: Kelex only addresses Clark by his full Kryptonian name, Kal-El, never referring to him as just Kal. Same with the other House of El members.
- Hover Mecha: Kelex can hover to move around.
- Interspecies Friendship: Gets along surprisingly well with Natasha Irons, who taught him hip-hop slang. Kelex in return offered one of its spare appendages to serve as model for Natasha's bionic arm.
- Machine Monotone: Speaks like one due to being A.I.
- Robot Buddy: Kelex was intended to be this for Clark/Kal-El, taking care of him and educating him about Krypton to prevent its culture from dying with the planet.
- Sealed Good in a Can: He was shutdown for 700 years before Clark found the ship but is unable to understand the technology, he decides to look for the other ship where Kara reside there. Clark takes Kara to the ship he found earlier. Kara is able to activate the ship and awaken Kelex from sleep mode. Kelex vaccinates the two who have unknowingly been exposed to the particle plague in the ship.
- Servile Snarker: Kelex is, for all intents and purposes, a virtual butler for the House of El. That doesn't mean that he won't snark at his owner's expense.
Chloe Sullivan
- Adaptation Dye-Job: Chloe is a brunette rather than a blonde as in Smallville, mostly to distance her from Allison Mack in light of Mack's involvement in the sex cult, NXIVM.
- Badass Bookworm: Chloe is highly intelligent and researches a lot.
- Childhood Friends: With Clark
- Determinator: Chloe never gives up, especially when it's something that is important to her.
- Empath: Being exposed to Kryptonite gave her the ability of seeing and even influencing other people's emotions.
- Genki Girl: When she gets excited, she's really excited.
- Interspecies Friendship: With Clark. Clark is a Kryptonian and Chloe is a human.
- Motor Mouth: Sometimes when Chloe gets talking or going, she can't stop, especially when she's either excited or panicked.
- Mr. Exposition: She's a member of The Network, who submit character files of the different characters of Earth 27.
- Official Couple: Engaged to Jimmy Olsen.
- Online Alias: Her Network ID is 'Cypher'.
- Teen Genius: Chloe is highly intelligent and analytical.
Lana Lang
- Alliterative Name: Lana Lang, she's one of the many L.L. who litters the Superman mythos.
- Amicable Exes: She and Clark remained friends after their relationship.
- Best Friend: She and Thara Ak-Var/Linda Danvers are best friends.
- Childhood Friend Romance: She and Clark known each other since childhood and were classmates, but they were only friends who were next-door neighbors. both date each other eventually. The two broke up after they graduated to Smallville high.
- Composite Character: While stating true to her personality in the comics and other media she also has the Meteorite Necklace from Smallville.
- Cute Bookworm: She was at the top of her class, as well as being undeniably gorgeous.
- Dude Magnet: Lana is attractive to the opposite sex. She's had many different guys who are in love with her and has had quite a few love interests
- Mr. Exposition: She's a member of The Network, who submit character files of the different characters of Earth 27.
- Official Couple: Engaged to John-Henry Irons/Steel.
- Online Alias: Her Network moniker 'Valkyrie'.
- Parental Abandonment: Both of her parents died in the meteor shower.
- Secret-Keeper: She's one of the people who knows Clark is Superman.
- Stepford Smiler: Outwardly very sweet and friendly, but hides a LOT of emotional trauma.
- Significant Green-Eyed Redhead: More significant at some points than others, however.
- Tragic Keepsake: Her Meteorite necklace is a memento build a piece of the same meteor that killed her parents.
David Conchada (Eradicator)
- Adaptation Name Change: His last name was changed to Conchada rather Conner in the comics as it was done to avoid confusion with Conner Kent/Kon-El.
- Cool Shades: The Eradicator cannot stand even low levels of light, so he dons a pair of yellow shades that take up somewhere between a third and half of his face.
- Energy Absorption: What distinguishes the Eradicator from other Kryptonians is his ability to manipulate energy. Eradicator is actually a being of pure energy, therefore he possesses vast energy manipulation abilities, ranging from being able to absorb, convert and release various forms of energy as powerful blasts from his hands or eyes.
- Fusion Dance: Originally Cleric overrode David Conchada's mind, but ever since Kara reprogrammed him, David's personality slips into the Eradicator, to the point they will merge completely one day.
- Genius Bruiser: Being a program from Krypton, the Eradicator possesses extensive knowledge of Krypton, is extremely intelligent, as well as the ability to compute and process information at incredible speed.
- Heel–Face Turn: Kara reprogrammed him so that, instead of attacking non-pure Kryptonians, he now guards the House of El. He now even helps Martha Kent at the farm.
- Heroic Host: David fused with the AI protocol based on Kryptonian philosopher turned religious zealot, Kem-Veks.
- Intergenerational Friendship: Has remained good friends with Martha Kent, often driving her to doctor's appointments and helping with maintaining the farm, but he's particularly happy when Martha's grandkids stay on the farm.
- Machine Monotone: The Eradicator only speaks in an even, matter-of-face tone because he's the semi-physical form of an A.I.
- The Medic: As a master of Kryptonian and human anatomy, David/Eradicator is a proficient surgeon and physician.
- Race Lift: His host is a philippine man named David Conchada, rather than David Conner.
- Superpower Lottery: He shares the Kryptonian power set such as the Nigh-Invulnerability, Eye Beam, X-Ray Vision, Super-Speed, Super-Strength, Super-Senses and Flight.
- Technopath: As a sentient supercomputer, the Eradicator has limitless cybernized interactive capability, being able to control and operate the vastly more advanced crystal based nanotech computers of the Fortress of Solitude along with lower level technologies of earth.
Daily Planet
Perry White
- Benevolent Boss: Despite his tough-mindedness and grouchy personality, he has always been a kind and fair boss.
- Catchphrase: Perry shouts "Great Ceasar's Ghost!" and "Don't call me 'chief'!" when enraged.
- Composite Character: While mostly his characterization is from DC Extended Universe he retains his personality in the comics and other adaptations.
- Da Editor: His strength and integrity have led him to be one of the world's greatest journalists, and underneath his leadership the Planet hasn't missed a single issue through crisis after crisis.
- Intrepid Reporter: In his youth. He won four Pulitzer awards with such notable stories as Watergate, The Mannhattaning, and The Great Lie (Thanks to Walter Kovacs aka Rorschach's diary he exposed Adrian Veidt's true colors as the main instigator of The Manhattaning which forced Veidt go into hiding from authorities).
- Reasonable Authority Figure: He can be demanding and rude, but he is always kind and respectful to his reporters and seeks the highest levels of journalistic work ethic and integrity, being well-liked by pretty much everyone under his employ.
Jimmy Olsen
- Amicable Exes: He and Lucy Lane once dated each other.
- Badass Normal: He's got a black belt, and is more than capable of defending himself even without powers.
- Camera Fiend: Like other versions Jimmy is also photographer.
- Endearingly Dorky: Jimmy's clothing, innocent demeanor, and extreme loyalty to Superman make him this in the yes of many.
- Heroic Bystander: Sometimes, Jimmy gets off the sidelines to save the day.
- Intrepid Reporter: As always, Jimmy is this.
- Interspecies Friendship: Superman is Kryptonian; Jimmy is a human. But that doesn't keep them from being fairly close.
- Muggle Best Friend: To Superman.
- Nice Guy: In spite of occasional snarkiness, he's one of the most cheerful, friendly people in Daily Planet.
- Official Couple: Engaged to Chloe Sullivan.
- Secret-Keeper: Knows both Superman's and Supergirl's secret identities.
- Significant Green-Eyed Redhead: Has red hair, green eyes and he's the best friend of Superman.
Cat Grant
- Animal Motifs: She has been compared, obviously, to cats.
- Broken Ace: Her competitive, "always go for the win" attitude is revealed to have been partially fueled by her mommy issues.
- Composite Character: Her personality and appearance are based off her Arrowverse counterpart.
- Damsel in Distress: Was kidnapped twice by the Toymen. The first time she managed to escape on her own, the second she was rescued by Superman.
- Damsel out of Distress: After she turned his dolls to the police, Toyboy kidnapped her, taking her to one of his father's old workshops. There, he told her of his origins and asked her to be his new "mother." But Cat violently rejected him, clawed his face as managed tp slip out of her binds on her own and escape.
- Deadpan Snarker: Like her Arrowverse she's snark and witty than Lois.
- Devoted to You: She's Anton Schott's (Toyboy) object of obsession. He consider's her to be his new mother. He began to send a doll to Cat for every time a child was kidnapped by Dollmaker. When she realized who was sending her these gifts, she turned the dolls to the authorities, which brought Batman down upon the Dollmaker clan. Anton barely escaped capture, but kept obsessing over her.
- Gossipy Hens: She's know to be a gossip and blabbing. She is even the gossip columnist for the Daily Planet.
- Head-Turning Beauty: She's known for her good looks and Will Magnus can barely keep his head straight when he meets her.
- Intrepid Reporter: Not exactly to the degree as Lois Lane, but still.
- Lust Object: Superman is hers. He saved her once and took her home. She kissed him and wouldn't let go of his cape and he ended up leaving the cape with her. She later tells him that she likes to wrap herself around his cape when she goes in bed wearing nothing but the cape and a smile.
- Malaproper: Consistently gets people's names wrong (when she even recognizes them).
- Tranquil Fury: She never raises her voice in anger, but when she gets mad, there's no mistaking it.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: The reasoning that Cat can say such horrible things about Lois, is honesty not malice, and she openly admits the two are very close friends despite the rivalry.
Ron Troupe
- Action Survivor: While he doesn't have much in terms of fighting skills, his quick reaction saved him and a shop owner from El Flamingo until Mystery Inc. arrived.
- Black and Nerdy: He's the politics reporter of the Daily Planet, and his writing and demeanor are extremely intellectual and professional.
- Straight Man: He's arguably the most "normal" person on the Daily Planet.
