Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Agreed.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! It used to be in the Main/ namespace, but it was cut and moved to WebAnimation/.
Move to Main/ but keep the subpages for works/creators without their own pages, though, as with Creepypasta.
Edited by rjd1922 Keet cleanupIf it has to stay as a work page (as in, if a move to Main isn't approved), I think Web Video makes more sense than Web Animation, since live-action footage is sometimes used.

Edited by Mickoonsley19Even if YTP as a whole is a meme, it's also a genre of video using a wide variety of sources - I feel the "counting as works" would be more appropiate for specific sources (then again, stuff like Animutation is also currently under Web Animation). Agree with rjd's suggestion
Edited by Zanreo "Leftover items still have value!"A majority of YTP sources are animated, so Web Animation makes sense.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.^I'm aware, but there are exceptions, like stuff based on Michael Rosen videos or the live-action segments of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. (If it matters, the latter is filed under Series/, which is usually used for purely live-action TV series.)
Either way, my Web Video suggestion was a fallback for if the Main/ proposal is rejected by the staff. I agree that Main.Creepypasta's namespace adds precedence, even though I didn't previously mention that.

You Tube Poop is being treated as if it was a work, belonging to the Web Animation namespace and having its own YMMV, Trivia, etc. pages. It's not a work at all, being a genre that covers a wide variety of videos by a wide variety of authors. Shouldn't it be in the Main namespace?
