The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
Depends on what they're doing with it:
- A.I. Is a Crapshoot - it's pretty much a coinflip in these stories whether we end in a heartwarming lesson or with the boss in a fight to the death with the androids
- Job-Stealing Robot - pretty much what it says, the workers have all been replaced by artificial workers, and the boss is worried he's next
- Do Androids Dream? - the focus is on whether the Artificial Humans can think and feel
- What Measure Is a Non-Human? - and do they have rights?
- Turned Against Their Masters - Are they planning a revolt?
- Humans Are the Real Monsters - Does the boss (or do his bosses) deserve it?
^ Thank you.
Since Tropes Are Flexible, perhaps mentioning Artificial Human briefly on Job-Stealing Robot page (since they could technically fit without being a Robot Girl or Ridiculously Human Robot).
Also, for Characters.Arrowverse Time Masters, could Job-Stealing Robot and Do Androids Dream? fit as tropes for Director Ava Sharpe, given she's an Artificial Human and Expendable Clone. Already, one of the tropes you mentioned, What Measure Is a Non-Human? is listed on the Characters page for her.
Do we have this one?
A workplace is populated entirely by Artificlal Humans (except for the boss, who is human).
Not sure if this is an example, but theoretically a police force where everyone is an Artificial Human, like the riot-guard Alternate Self clones of Ava Sharpe in Legends of Tomorrow episode "I, Ava.
Is there such a trope, or is it TLP-worthy?
