If I've been reading correctly, it would seem that Amphicoelias has lost its crown and title as the largest dinosaur ever, as well as one that could potentially outsize the blue whale.

Basically, the giant Amphicoelias vertebra (which is probably not Amphicoelias proper) is proportionately larger compared to the whole animal than most other dinosaur vertebrae, suggestive of a slightly smaller dinosaur. Incidentally, Amphicoelias proper is probably the same as Diplodocus, but most people ignore this because the latter name is so well-known.
