since no one's complaining about the description. one more hat and i'm good to go.

I'm having trouble getting any suggestions for quotes and page images for Fellow Player Cameo. I'm also not entirely sure about the name (even though nobody's objected to it so far).

Replies seem to have all but dropped off, in fact.

I'd say it's just YKTTW being slow in general lately.

I think Juxtaposed Halves Poster is good to go. the "trope" is pretty simple so the description doesn't need to be that that long. and it has enough examples.

I could use some more feedback on Seriously Scruffy.

Pseudocide Attack could use some help with naming - there's only one suggested alternative name so far (so it seems a bit pointless starting a crowner to pick one) and there doesn't appear to have been much interest in suggesting any more (or supporting existing ones).

Hey. I have no idea where to start, so a little hand-holding may be in order. (Or some shooting-down, it's all good) I figured there might be a trope page here for how "not getting shot/hurt for a few seconds" in a video game equates to healing. The screen starts to turn grey, maybe some weird music fades in, but if you can avoid the killing blow for 10 or 15 seconds, you're good as new. It would go under "Acceptable Breaks from Reality," I think. If there was a page for it, it would probably list subversions and times it's played straight (such as if the character has superhuman healing powers, like Wolverine).

Does this already exist perhaps? I thought I looked pretty hard but I didn't find it. Anyway, is it anything?

Please use Lost And Found to look for tropes that we may have, and YKTTW to propose ideas. This thread is for discussing YKTTW entries that are already in progress.

I've got three YKTTW's that, as far as I can see, seem ready enough to launch but either don't have hats or don't have enough. At worst maybe the descriptions could use some sprucing up, but they don't seem to have created too much confusion within the examples presented.

Proportional Aging: A character who lives a much shorter or much longer time than the average ages accordingly (shorter lifespans age faster, longer lifespans age slower).

Random Transportation: The characters have a way to travel to other worlds and/or times, but have next to no control over their destination. I was wondering about another name, since I wonder if it could be confused with Random Teleportation.

Destroy the Abusive Home: A character destroys a place that brings only painful memories. Bit of necromancy here, to be honest. I'd made this one a long time ago but had forgotten about it until I started checking up on the other two. Still, it has four hats, plenty of entries, though there's some question on how close it is to Where I Was Born and Razed. Figure I'll throw it into the mix, as well. Could possibly use a better name, but nothing concrete was decided int he comments.

My YKTTW Unavailable Pretty Princess seems to have found a clear name but it has no hats. A recent comment called it sexist. If that's true and means that it shouldn't be launched I'll accept that but I'd like more feedback.

Useful Notes: Fire and Explosive Safety. It doesn't have ALL of the examples written up yet or the entire article (planning to do that after launch, plus hopefully get some Wiki Magic going from some experts in the area), and I need to write up a better description (its current description is its explanation as to why we need it), which I will edit into the main post really soon. :)

Would something be sent to the YKTTW rescue thread just for not having any hats? No one any longer has any problem with my description or title (one person even said that they're good now) but no one is giving it a hat.

Equipment Upgrade seems to be languishing a bit.

It's picked up a few examples, but I'm not getting any feedback on the description or the title (or any suggestions for page quotes/images).

Sorry to doublepost, but I thought Equipment Upgrade was ready to launch, but I'm still getting complaints about the description.

I'm not entirely sure where or what the problem is, so I could use another pair of eyes to help me out.

EDIT: In hindsight, there was probably no need to bother mentioning them here. I'll go through them myself; most of them probably aren't that worthwhile.

Looking for help with Notari Matsutarou I don't go on TV Tropes as much as I used to but this has an anime with a different name Abarenbō Rikishi!! Matsutarō. Which in English is Rowdy/Rougthneck Sumo Wrestler/Wrestler Matsutaro

@Hidden Faced Matt (390): I tried to check some, but the problem is that you have too many active discussions going on right now. If you want to see them launched, you should pay more attention to them and check them regularly. Basically, keep bumping them or zero-editing them to put them on the first page. That is the only way more people will notice them and give you feedback, provide some examples etc. Sponsoring a trope can be demanding and hard work...

I made a page for Beast Saga, there are about 20 out of 38 episodes subbed right now, can easily be found on the internet. If anyone wants to do some work on it, feel free to, I'm just a casual TV Tropes Browser

Again, I am not good at this sort of thing so I tend to take new pages to wiki magic indexes for help.

Asking for assistance/hats/commentary on this YKTTW - it's supposed to create a hub article for video games like Anime, Visual Novel and the like are.

Unmasked Mook needs input on a name and maybe a 2nd opinion on the description.

We have the definition, we have the examples, we have the HUGE amount of time passed. The only time we don't have is hats.

It might help if you sort them by genre (a long list of unsorted examples might be putting people off).

Unmasked Mook (currently titled Odd Identical Out) still needs more input over its name.
