Okay, I just had one last night.

I was in some office building trying to apply for a job. Everyone was being really nice to me until they directed me to the boss' office. I go inside the office, and the boss turns out to be Dr. Pierce Chang, and he just turns me down flat while being a bit of an asshole about it. One woman comes in and tries to vouch for me, but it didn't sway him at all.

As I was leaving, frustrated, I enter the elevator and this little boy (who I kept seeing with the other employees in the building before) enters with me and says nothing. As we're going down, I ask him if he was following me, and he remains silent. I then ask him if he had anywhere else to go, and it turns out that he doesn't. So I (somewhat reluctantly, admittedly) take him home, but with the intent on taking him to an orphanage the next day.

When we go to orphanage, the people working there recognize the boy and they tell me that the orphanage use to take care of the boy until he was adopted by the company I tried to get a job for. HOWEVER, they go on to tell me that the company is really a front organization for the Hymn Of One. At this point, my dream self says, "FFFFFFFFFFFFFF-FUCK!!!"

So me, my family, and the boy get a van from somewhere and we all go on the run. Eventually, Sonic, Zelda, Peach, and Bowser all come and start helping us.

The next thing I remember is that the van we were traveling in is suddenly blown up and flipped over by an RPG. We make our way to a nearby abandoned house (which looks suspiciously like my house in real life). Most of us aren't injured too badly, but Sonic manages to break his leg. I look around for Peach and Zelda, but they're nowhere to be found. Bowser and I search the house for both of them. Bowser does eventually find Peach...while she was in the middle of changing her clothes (she had nothing on but a bra and panties when he found her). Instead of telling Peach what happened, Bowser starts trying to flirt with her. After that, the "camera" switches to a side-view of the doorway as Bowser gets THROWN out of the room like Jazz from the Fresh Princeof Bel Air!

And that's when I wake up, probably because my subconscious was laughing too much.

I had a rather disturbing dream.

I dreamed that I woke up, had breakfast, and went to school. And I vaguely remember having a good day in school. Everything went fine. I even scored a date. It was great.

Then I woke up and really had breakfast and went to school and the day sucked as much as days usually suck.

I had a dream where the world was underground. Not like in a cave, our world was itself underground. The sky is blue and made of glass.

Anyway, there's a cave in and someone builds a Dr. Seuss-esque machine (lamer colors though)for cleaning up the debris that has a manually pumped exhaust. The clean-up is lead by an Expy of Major Kusanagi. The manual exhaust pump is operated by an enthusiastic non-human orphan, which was disapproved of by the project leader due to inefficiency.

I, me C Trombley, then helped the orphan clean out the hose that essentially was the exhaust. It was fuzzy on the inside and filled with rocks. I approved of him taking on this responsibility. I don't know what our relationship was. Seemed somewhere between Brotherly and Fatherly.

That's all I can remember.

Here's what I remember from last night:

Me and my two friends are... I dunno, Road tripping or going on an adventure or something. We end up in an Ihop in what looks like a Highlands or foothills area or something. Very hilly and mountainous, with lots of green. Think Beginning of the Sound of Music. So yeah. Ihop. We eat at Ihop, then go out and get in an old fashioned Bi-plane, but accidentally leave one of our friends behind. Solution? Go back to Ihop and eat some more while waiting.

I remember reading something on the menu that has evaded me since this morning, but I remember thinking "HA take that other people! I can read in my dreams!"

OH! and goddamn waitress lady. I mentioned Brigadoon for some reason (Maybe we're headed there), and she starts singing the title song, and Dream-me tries to stop her curtly but it was too late. I woke up with the title song to Brigadoon in my head.

I woke up soon after.

Had a dream last night that I was at some college. It was by the sea. But this wasn't a normal college: It was a College With A Dark Secret, and once a year had a "Night of Slaughter" where any student out past some certain hour would be mercilessly killed. I holed up in the safety of my room for the night, and when dawn came, I got out and wandered the school. The halls were strewn with bodies, some in pieces, spiderweb-like formations of blood dotting the floor, while corpses where literally nailed on the walls and piled up three thick on shelves. All of them had their faces turned toward me, horrible rictus grins on all of their faces. Even the school itself looked different—the tiles stained by curious brown substances, and the windows smokey black. In the water, sharks swarmed, drawn by the bloody trickles seaping into the wet sand.

Easily one of the creepiest dreams I've ever had. Even creepier? I was not bothered or terrified in the least. Despite being utterly nightmarish in every way, I remained cool and unperterbed throughout the whole ordeal.

Awesome dream last night.

I have been chosen as one of four pilots to be the first people on mars. The others are an older man who refuses to believe he's too old to go on this last mission, a slower, bearded man who is taking the place of an earlier candidate who died (and was his former mentor who, as the dream later indicates, he might have been in love with) and another man who, in true dream fashion, rotated between being a talkative, friendly man and a talkative friendly woman. So the four of us have been chosen, but there is a problem. The trip is one way. If we go up, chances are we won't be coming back down.We will only have three days worth of air and food. However, the four of us decide to go for it anyway. I lie to my mother about it. Training montage. Soon the four of us are ready. We have ice cream cake in celebration. Of course we're all scared, because the trip is one way, but being remembered as the first men on Mars is just too attractive to pass up. The day itself comes. The four of us are in a sort of Jet fighter, one behind the other. I'm in the back seat. I get my helmet on just as the launch sequence begins.

And of course I wake up. That's a good dream.

Once I had a dream where the world looked like Earthbound (The game). I talked to my mailbox (Yes, my mailbox) and it said (In a text box) "Have you ever been to the famous Cuba Q? Neither have I!"

Another one was where King Harkinian (From the Zelda CD-i games) was having a barbecue. Vash and Knives from Trigun were there. And they rode mattresses down a hill. And Toad (Mario) got chased by a giant farming robot with lasers. It was epic.

This morning I dreamed I was with Chel, Tulio, and Miguel at the harbor. Everyone at the harbor was mean to us, so we decided to carve a canoe from one of the trees and use it to get to the place we were going in such a hurry. We had a shiny leather-bound book that was very important. Something happened with the mean people that made us fall into the water. I saved the book, but Miguel drowned. I got him out of the water and tried to do CPR, but it didn't work.

I interpreted that as society (mean people) making me choose between important things with little inherent value (the book) and my cheerful, playful side (Miguel).

Last night I dreamt, that me, my mom and big brother were Christmas shopping in last November or December. I don't really remember much of what we bought, but for some reason, my big brother had bought salmon, and we wrapped a slice in every package. We also talked about the events of the last year; and I lampshaded the Info Dump.

Yet another crazy, crazy dream from Pirka.

So, what happened was I woke up in the morning (first dream I've ever had like that, really) and I turned on the computer. The only difference beetween this and real life was that in the dream, my desktop background was the 'I'm Happy Plz' face, except it was Sonic The Hedgehog, and it had Dr. Brain's moustache, hair and beard. Then, it went on to what was supposedly the *5th* Dr. Brain game (it was a puzzle game series made by Sierra in the 90s - I grew up on the third game), and my dream kept on repeatedly stating that it came out in 2004 for some reason. In the game, apparently the plot was that you had to help Dr. Brain get his body back, since he was a disembodied head hanging on a door. The way you did this was playing as Elaina, his neice from the third game, and the whole goal of the game was to disguise yourself by changing your hair color, because apparently nobody can tell who you are if you change your hair color! The way you did this was by wearing a Sailor Moon headband; it would close in on her and her hair would change to red or blonde. The best part by far was this, though: at one part, Elaina opened up a cabinet/armoire type thing and Rathbone (a giant, anthropomorphic genius rat, so yeah) was inside, as if he were hiding there or something...he's all like "HELLOOOOOO 8D"...and then Elaina casually shuts the door on him. She doesn't slam it or anything, she kinda just opens it, he says 'HELLOOOO' and then she shut it the same way she opened it! xD (That part was never mentioned again.) Then, it suddenly cut to me PLAYING the game and convincing my parents to let me go to some sort of meeting at a church which supposedly had all my friends from some fictional summer camp, except for Aya, who's a kid who was at my REAL summer camp. When I went in the church, it was waaaaay smaller on the inside and looked more like a little book store or something, and there were all these waitresses in kimonos serving food and everyone was sitting Japanese-style on the floor. I was served what appeared to be a bowl full of TINY little bean/lentil things (like, a quarter of the size of a normal bean); There were 3 different colors of them and there were some California rolls on top. So I started eating it with my chopsticks (which appeared out of nowhere), and then one of the waitresses started giving me hell because apparently you're supposed to eat them by scooping up a whole bunch of the beans in your cupped hands and sipping them, so I felt really embarrassed. Then I woke up.

Even weirder? Almost all of these dreams like that lately have happened in the time beetween when mom 'wakes me up' and when she calls me for breakfast, which can't be any longer than half an hour. surprised

The other night, I was in a state of semi-sleep/semi-dreaming. In my semi-dream, I was talking to my crush as of then. She inexplicably took her top off.

I've also had instances where I dream stuff and it comes true, but not in the way I expected:

  • The dream: I'm at a formal dance with a girl I didn't really like in that way at the time, and I start slow-dancing with her for whatever reason.
    • The reality: At a non-formal high school homecoming dance, I was in T-shirt and shorts, the girl in question was in the same shirt and jeans, and we're in a gym instead of a really nice dance hall. I ask her to dance and she says yes. By then, I had developed some feelings for her.
  • The dream: I'm sleeping on the floor at a sleepover. One of my female friends sleeps next to me.
    • The reality: A couple years later, we're rooming at an anime convention, and I found myself with no place to sleep on the floor (both beds were taken up by girls). Said friend offers to let me sleep next to her and her sister on their bed. So I do.
  • And then there's those times when I dreamt about playing Ikaruga and the PS2 versions of Beatmania IIDX, months before I would actually play them. I ended up getting the GameCube version of Ikaruga as well as IIDX on PS2.

Last night I had an interesting dream. Don't remember it too well, but I'll try to explain it. Basically, it was an extremely vivid dream of humanity being massacred by Jackal-Tyranid hybrids. And there was this tower...bridge...thing that humanity was swarming in an attempt to escape, but to no avail. And it ended with me and my friend in his living room with him saying, "Yeah, we're it". Smile, and dream ends.

Most of my dreams since around middle school are just jumbled messes comparable to watching a tv with it's 'next channel' button stuck down. However, a few years back I had a really bizarre dream that stuck with me:

I was sleeping on the couch (which is where I actually was sleeping), and I woke up for whatever reason. I looked over the back of the couch, towards the hallway leading to the garage, and a giant tiki mask floated out from it and stared at me, scaring me senseless. This caused me to wake up. I looked over the couch again. Giant floating tiki mask. Woke up again, looked over, GIANT FLOATING TIKI MASK!

I don't know how many times I went through that until I actually woke up. The worst part about it was unlike just about every other dream I've had, I didn't have that feeling that I was in a dream. It felt waaay too real.
