Orihime is an affectionate, kind-hearted, and polite individual. How kind is she? To the point of not only not becoming bitchy or bitter out of jealousy towards Rukia, but Orihime also gushing about how wonderful and amazing Rukia is and how bad she feels to be jealous of such a good person. Rangiku herself notes this as a reason why Ichigo needs Orihime as much as he needs Rukia and why she is a truly good person herself.

^ You don't need to use Orihime's name again because the reader already knows you're talking about her.

^ You used "becoming" earlier in the sentence, and the tense of the verb "gush" (gushing) should match it.

Barry Allen (The Flash 2014):

  • The Chosen One: In Oliver Queen's own words, the force behind the lightning that struck Barry chose him for a reason. Additionally, Eobard Thawne keeps implying that there is something special about his speed. "The Runaway Dinosaur" confirms this by having the Speed Force itself state that it specifically chose Barry. However due to Flashpoint, the Speed Force effectively un-choses him by making him occupy the prison he built for Savitar; otherwise the Speed Force would collapse. "(Addition)": In "The Last Temptation of Barry Allen: Pt. 1" seems to imply that it re-choses him, especially since during the Crisis, he is also chosen to be the "Paragon of Love".

The last sentence is my addition.

I don't have enough information to tell whether this is correct English or not.

If The Men in Black + Recruit Teenagers with Attitude results in a singular entity (a mashing together of the two tropes), "meets" is fine. If they are together but separate (and thus plural), "meets" should be "meet".

Video Game Society

  • If this is the actual name of something, it's a proper noun/name and thus correct.
  • If you mean the society around video games, "society" is a common noun and should not be capitalized (e.g. Video Game society).

  • Insecure Love Interest: In Chapter 227, when Raku confesses to her, Chitoge tearfully admits and acknowledges all her faults and flaws, showing how insecure she feels as a girl when she compares herself to a much more feminine figure as Onodera, ultimately calling herself a "Fake". Oliver & Company is much beloved in France, while the film was a modest success in the United States. It lost to Don Bluth's The Land Before Time. In France, Oliver & Company was very popular. Can I get this looked over?

This is the description for Anime.Night Head Genesis:

Most humans don't have access to 70% of their brain's mental power. However, some people do, and those people are called psychics.

The anime begins with two brothers, Naoto and Naoya Kirihara, who were born with psychic powers. They couldn't fit in with normal people because they couldn't control their powers well especially when they are overwhelmed by their abilities due to being so young. Their parents couldn't take the stress of caring for such abnormal children anymore so they drugged the boys and hand them over to a mysterious laboratory ( I guess it was a research center of sorts?) to be cared for and watched over.

After causing a scene at the facility out of anger, Naoto recalls his mother's words and realizes that he and his younger brother only have each so he vows to stay by Naoya's side and be his protector forever. Fast forward 15 years later, when the director of the laboratory dies the invisible barrier surrounding the building disappears, so now Naoto and Naoya are free to escape and experience the "normal' world as adults.

Night Head Genesis was a 24 episode that aired on 2006 and was broadcasted by Animax among others. In 2008, the series got licensed by Media Blasters and aired on the US network, Toku.

The anime is an adaptation of a 1992

Noddy

  • Adaptation Distillation: The 1994 stage show "Noddy Live" combines Toyland Adventures with the original book universe. The first act combines Noddy Goes To Toyland and Noddy And His Car, while Sly and Gobbo were introduced as soon as Big Ears first encounter Noddy. note  Whiskers the cat (as a puppet) is also prominent in the show. Toyland Adventures gets a small reference when Tessie mentioned Dinah Doll being on Holiday and is chosen to run her shop.

  • Wicked Witch: The 1994 stage show introduces a unnamed witch who wears shades. Her motivation is to use Noddy's Car as faster transportation due to her broom not working properly. She also makes strange noises when she gets very annoyed.

Ringing Bell Nightmare Fuel

  • The entire scene of Woe attacking the sheep inside the stable. One moment the entire flock are sleeping peacefully, when suddenly they're woken up to ominous noises coming from outside. Then out of nowhere, Woe bursts open the door (which appears to be locked) and the entire flock tries to run away from him. One of the sheep is so scared of Woe, that it starts foaming from the mouth and immediately fainting.

    • While the flock is under attack, Chirin appears to be half asleep. He suddenly witnessed a sheep get killed right in front of him. We only see that sheep get killed in shadow form, but we do see it's body fall in front of him.

some tropes for One Piece YMMV

  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: In Marineford, many scenes happen without consequences, like Sengoku rolling up one of his sleeves, ready to fight, only in the next scene to be still on the platform with the sleeve back down, or Garp sitting on the Admiral's Throne, which is treated like a big moment, only to have no impact on the plot. This causes most of these scenes to appear hilarious rather than epic.

    • Sengoku has two arms and rolls up only one of the sleeve

  • Vindicated by History: When it first came out, the fans' reaction to Fishman Island was very negative, because it was often considered the worst arc of the series, but with time its reception among the fandom has improved thanks to its nuanced story about racism and doing a good job at showing the skills the Straw Hats have learned during the time-skip.

for Wapol

  • Beard of Evil: After the time-skip, Wapol has grown a beard on his chin to reflect his cartonnishy evil personality.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: Exaggerated: After being defeated by the Straw Hats and sent flying in the South Blue, he gets rich enough to fund the Evil Black Drum Kingdom, a kingdom version of this trope, while Wapol's appearance and behavior become much more villain-like, with dark-colored clothes, a goatee and a snidely Whiplash-like moustache.
  • Personality Power: Wapol is a fat glutton and has eaten the Munch-Munch Fruit, which gives him the ability to eat anything and assimilate its properties.
  • Self-Made Man: After being defeated by Luffy, Wapol lives in complete misery, but manages to become rich and the ruler of a new kingdom in a short amount of time by selling toys made with his Devil Fruit.

for Momonosuke

  • Acrophobic Bird: Despite having the ability to turn into a dragon and fly, Momonosuke is hesitant to use this ability. When he meets Luffy in a junk-pit, the latter asks him if he could simply fly away to escape, but Momonosuke is too hesitant and flies only after being called a "coward". This fear originates from Kaido's attempt to toss Momonosuke from the Kozuki palace 20 years before.

  • There's a small, but significant scene at the end of the final credits that plays. Ventus finds himself back within the comfort of a young Sora's heart. Sora then asked if Ventus was sad and Ventus asked if he could stay with Sora. Very heartwarming in the end.
    • Made even more Heartwarming in Hindsight, as it was Sora's heart that healed Ventus' at the beginning of the game when the latter's was fading away after being separated from Vanitas. Additionally, Sora is only a newborn infant at that time.

Italic is the addition.

Ash Ketchum(Pokemon):

  • Redemption Quest: The Orange Islands arc ends up being this for Ash. After suffering a humiliating defeat in the Indigo League partly due to his inexperience, laziness, and arrogance, Ash would go on to challenge the Orange Island League to refine himself as a trainer, along with his Pokemon. The trip through the archipelago proves to be a great boon for Ash in his growth as a trainer, culminating in not only winning against Drake in the League but also leading to further development and improvement in future leagues until eventually, he becomes Champion of Alola.
