• Smierć za Nic ("Death for Nothing"): Adam Mielnik is a seller of body lotion that prostitutes tend to buy from him a lot. He is also revelead to be a Serial Rapist and killer of them. He kidnaps prostitutes to the forest where he ties them, rapes them, and later he cruelly chokes them with the rope. Adam has done it to at least 7 in the city of Kielce before moving into small town where he continued to do so. In the past, he also choked his own mother to death after she was arguing with him before moving out. Adam is one of the worst criminals that the police has been tracking.

Setting?

Matar para Vivir (Kill to Live) is a Peruvian movie following a group of children captured for the Sinchis, the infamous peruvian death squads, during the Age of Terrorism/ Peruvian Internal Conflict and their struggle to escape from them. A very grim movie with outstanding child actors, its a very dark story about the worst of the Peruvian army.

Who are The Captain and Torres?

The Big Bad Duumvirate of the film, they're a duo of "Sinchis", a anti terrorist squad that was a de facto Internal Death Squad.

The Captain and Torres arrive in the village of our young protagonist, killing their grandpa and kidnapping the children, savegely beating them in the process, outright whipping them.

As they leave the town, The Captain orders Torres to put a Maoist flag on the corpse of the old man to frame him as a Shining Path member, Torres obeys and while initially he does give him a short religious farewell, he then burst on laughts and mocks the dead old man calling a animal.

The car fails, but the children try to escape but fail. As punishment, the Captain and Torres submit them to many sorts of tortures, from drownings to psychological torture by leaving them hanging from the border of a river. And of course, leaving them to starve.

A child named Hans manages to escape, but he is later captured by Torres, who proceed to shoot his guns close to him to force him to pee in his pants. Then, the Captain order to execute Hans by hanging him.

The children then are kept alive by the Captain's Pragmatic Villainy, causing him to clash with Torres, whose rations are now used to feed the children. Another member named Ponce has a accident crossing a river and the Sinchis have to save him, something that the children use to attempt another escape.

The Captain orders a new hunt, but the Children now are decided to Kill to Live and manage to seemignly kill Torres by abushing him and throwing him off the mount.

The children manage to kill the soldier Ponze despite him injuring Benjamin's arm. However, this leaves them vulnerable to the Captain, who kills Chucho and proceeds to mock the surviving children, saying "There is only two left". Benjamin and the Captain have a final showdown where Benjamin throws his sandals to his face, giving him time to load his gun and kill the Captain.

After that, Benjamin and his little brother walk away towards a uncertain future. Then a Time Skip reveals that the story is a adult Benjamin telling his history to a journalist, who proceeds to ask him about if it was the end, to which Benjamin soberly declares it wasn't, before revealing hideous scars as its revealed that Torres survived and continued to hurt Benjamin.

Heinous Standard?

"Only" Three murders and two attempted ones, but four of those are of children and the one that is not, is the murder of a defenseless old man.

Then, their treatment of the children is utterly horrid. Beatings, whipings, starvation, mental torture, force them to watch the execution of their friend, etc.

So...yeah, nope. There are only three villains on the movie, The Captain, Torres and another soldier named Ponce, who is also a massive asshole, but doesn't do anything really relevant.

Mitigant traits?

Unlike someone like, for example, Ivan Roca from La Boca del Lobo, there is no humanizing moments here that shown radicalization caused by surviving terrorist attacks, they are shown as natural sadists that got a legal outlet by joining the Internal Death Squad known as the Sinchis.

Captain, Torres

• Logical Journey of the Zoombinis fanfic Saetwo's Story: Romelau is the selfish, wrathful leader of the Fleens. Many years ago, the Fleens and Zoombinis lived together, but Romelau began stealing the profits of their combined business, forcing the Zoombinis to banish the Fleens. Romelau, not seeing himself as responsible, sought vengeance and sent the destructive Bloats to Zoombini Isle. As a result, the Zoombinis were enslaved and Zoombini Isle was devastated, forcing the elders of the island to send their children out to find a new home, something that Romeleau uses to continue his revenge. Manipulating Iadwi's son Xekrai to turn against his comrades, Romelau launches an attack on the Zoombinis and captures one of them, Uloobu. Forcing 16 of them to go through deadly traps, Romelau reveals he crippled Uloobu and gives them the choice of serving him as slaves or leaving Uloobu to be thrown off into a deep abyss. Even when the Zoombinis agree to his terms, Romelau throws Uloobu into the abyss. During the final battle, Romelau loses it as Xekrai's redemption, and becomes obsessed with killing the Zoombini leader Saetwo to crush the Zoombinis' hope.

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I realise that the Censor being approved sort of subverts the arguments for Etta Davis.

Three of the Censor's victims are shown and Davis is seen committing three murders in her briefing, poisoning someone and shoving someone off a roof and we are shown the bloodied crowbar and hat of the headmaster both in the briefing and in-game. So they both have their murders shown and stated in the briefings.

You can excuse all her murders as ambiguous, but that is really WMG or Alternative Character Interpretation. The game itself never presents her as Ambiguously Evil or just a "suspected serial killer" and Diana clearly states her "preferred technique" of poison (and then blunt weapons and falls) and that "she will kill again repeatedly".

And, as I said, there's a pool of blood next to the Headmaster's hat and a crowbar, and it quite obvious what happened to him. And the intel page clearly states she "commenced her career of murder" and "perfected a range of skills including poisoning and directed sabotage" and that she sabotaged a former MP's wheelchair.

We shouldn't just dismiss all the evidence against her and keep giving her the benefit of the doubt.

I was looking at the two villains from What If (2021). Regarding Red Skull his quotes still reflect his A God Am I portrayal from First Avenger. Regarding Infinity Ultron, would this quote work?

" So many universes, so much chaos... They need to be silenced."

Infinity Ultron before deciding to enact his plan to exterminate all life in the Multiverse upon discovering it.

That quote definitely sounds more like a Well-Intentioned Extremist tbh.

I don't like the quote.

Personally I've always thought that the Censor wasn't really bad enough to count, he's got a decent bodycount but honestly murderers are a dime a dozen in Hitman and I don't think he does enough to stand out since we have other Serial Killers in the games, like Dom Osmund, who's implied to also be a Serial Rapist, or people like the pedophiles from Blood Money.

Now...let's talk Katherine:

Who is Katherine?

Born Hermione Tirrill, she was born and grew up on tainted ground, allowing her contact with the demonic entities known as the "Blood Friends." After years of being a nightmarish person, she rechristened herself "Sister" Katherine and founded the "Last Days" cult, fostering horrific abuse there with forced orgies, forced adulteries and rape, beatings and torture, starvation...

All while Katherine lived in luxury, of course....and then it got worse. To satiate the Blood Friends, Katherine began to initiates brutal and bizarre murders, ritualistic killings. Knives, guns, burying alive...all to achieve the favor of the Blood Friends.

Katherine's ultimate goal was eternal life through transferring of spirit and essence, and so to gain the Blood Friends favor and power to do so, she began performing torturous blood experiments on cult followers to turn them into vessels for the Blood Friends, always resulting in the cultists either dying or being driven mad, unable to handle the demonic possession. Realizing that only the undeveloped mind of a child can handle the transference, Katherine had women of the cult raped and impregnated so as to steal the children away, forcing several of them to live as literal dogs while she raised one in pristine conditions...Chet, her chosen vessel. Katherine tricked most of her Seven into self sacrifice and let the Blood Friends possess the children with horrific results. She swapped bodies with the boy, Chet and murdered him in her own body. She got adopted and killed the parents, rising to become an actor...

And initiating horrific, deviant behaviors, sexual abuse....and then caught an STD. Whoops. No, needing a new body, she wiped out most of the cult to locate a new baby and possess it...only to be destroyed by the heroes.

Mitigating issues?

It is theorized that she had a rough childhood and that she likely experienced some sort of messed up experiences as a prostitute and brothel madam thanks to her apparent aversion to sex, but once she inhabits a new body she becomes a depraved sexual deviant who flourishes in her new setting, so it ultimately doesn't ring true as anything but a theory. So yeah...I think we're good.

I remember voting against the Censor because I felt he didn't stand out compared to Etta Davis given her higher body count, and I still think that to this day.
