So I was on Literature: N to S and I saw this entry

• Safehold: Vicar Zhaspahr Clyntahn is the Grand Inquisitor of the Church of God Awaiting, as well as the Big Bad for the series so far. In A Mighty Fortress, his response, to learning of a group of reformers within the Temple itself, is to have them, their families, their aides, and their families arrested, subjected to Cold-Blooded Torture, and executed, this eclipsing a delcaration of Holy War that had been stewing in the background since By Schism Rent Asunder. In How Firm a Foundation, he launches the Sword of Scheuler, an operation which instigates a civil war in the Republic of Siddarmark that kills hundreds of thousands in both the initial attack and the aftermath, which features a winter full of starvation as well as atrocities and counter-atrocities committed by and against Temple Loyalists, vis-à-vis those who remained loyal to Siddarmark's Lord Protector. His penchant for the torture and painful death of his enemies has resulted in multiple instances where armies aligned with the church Leave No Survivors out of a sense of mercy, as to spare any would be to leave prisoners of Clyntahn's wrath.

Haven't read these books, but while the entry makes it seem like he's a keep, can someone do a little rewrite, like with potholes on his name and describing him as "the Big Bad for the series so far" the use of italics just to emphasize something, I think this entry needs a touch up.

I think the italics are the book titles, but those likely aren't necessary.

I like the second Crimson King one and looking into the series would probably be useful there Agent... IIRC the last time he was brought up the book he's killed in brought up some potential mitigating factors and while someone who skimmed noted it was unlikely they disqualified him, a thorough check-through would be a good idea.

On Monk S4E2 "Mr. Monk Goes Home Again", the second half of Paul's entry seems off due to the tone.

• Complete Monster: Paul Gilstrap is a lab technician seeking to poison his wife. Knowing she enjoys Neptune Bars before bed, Gilstrap not only poisons one but, to make it look like she was randomly victimized by a serial killer, poisons multiple other candy bars and distributes them throughout a store to kill many other people. Caught at his workplace putting the poison back, Gilstrap tries to take the bars before seeing one man had eaten one and murdering him with a gun to deflect suspicion from the poison in the autopsy. For an extra kick, he is pulling this plan off around Halloween, meaning those bars could very well have been given to and eaten by children. To make matters even worse is the lack of a clear reason why is he trying to kill his wife in the first place. From the scene the viewer sees of her, she seems like a very nice woman, and Paul seems to have the money to buy $400 Italian shoes without hurting for money. For all we know, Paul may have been doing all of this just out of spite.

I looked through the history, and just as I suspected, it was added unilaterally

Also I've never read the Safehold books and I don't really have any plans to, I might get to it one day but it would be awhile

Hmm, I think those Crimson King quotes Lighty mentioned are from a song and the conic adaptation. We may have to go with either Flagg or the one Mir mentioned.

The comic is canon from what I recall? It was a big reason why he went up IIRC.

Ah, if it is, that changes things.

That said, I saw where it was from; King's not even credited as an author, which is...odd.

Alright this may be an infuriating cut because she's genuinely a vile piece of work but there may be an issue with Excellinor. After Alvin gets obliterated by the dragon guardians, Hiccup manages to achieve peace with the dragons, ending the war. Unfortunately everyone forgot about Excellinor who was hiding behind a stealth dragon. The story then gives this extract of the Villainous Breakdown.

Now this is the same woman who when reunited with Alvin, her only son, after 20 years in book 8. She immediately has a go at him for failing to capture the lost things and berated him for losing his limbs. So you could take this VB as a vile person losing their key to power since Alvin was about to be crowned king of the humans and they were both trying to wipe out the dragon race with a viral plague. But... the story notes "her beloved Alvin" and "his kingdom". Eh idk what to think so I'll let people give their thoughts.

Shoot, that could be an issue...

He later tried to use the High Evolutionary space station in order to alter the genetics of the entire planet; failing in this endeavor, Sinister later sent out the Marauders to murder everyone who knew about the dark future where Apocalypse ruled the world. On another occasion he merged with the Dreaming Celestial and transformed the entire population of San Francisco into clones of himself. At another time, Sinister, then part of the Weapon X project, promised to free the project's prisoners from the concentration camp they were held in, only to turn around and use them as part of his own experiments. Concerned only with his mad genetic theories, Sinister has worked with everyone from Josef Mengele to Apocalypse in the interest of furthering his research, and making himself the dominant life form on Earth.

Yeah this would be an annoying one for me to lose, easily of the most loathsome villains I've done with this trope.

I think Sinister's entry is pretty simply updated myself, I haven't read all of his appearances but I've read enough of the clone stuff to rewrite:
