Mod hat off, but my view is that a theme park ride can be considered a work. So can some aspects of a particular theme park as a whole.
That logic is why they qualify for pages in the Ride namespace.
As long as that's true, I think we'd want to distinguish between OBC relevant to the 'work' and OBC that's essentially RL.
I also wonder if we would have to add Oppressive States of America to this partial RL examples page, considering No Recent Examples, Please! placed a ban for them past the 1960's Civil Rights Movement. You can see the overlap there.

Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread! That's to be discussed on the cleanup thread.
As for this suggestion, I'm against it. Mainly because if there was an actual chance of an issue it would have been discussed in the TLP already. People get too eager to enact NRLEP and if a trope doesn't even have a clear risk of collecting said examples (having come out of the TLP without the issue even being mentioned half the time) I don't see a valid reason to crowner it.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm personally not in favor of the idea myself; I'd prefer to continue to only allow preemptive NRLEP designations pre-launch. I just brought it up for the sake of spitballing in the event that anyone was in favor of allowing exceptions for cases like that, since that discussion was brought up in the mod chat.
Edit: Neglected to ask if my proposed name for the index for partial bans is fine as-is, or if we need a crowner for what the name should be, since the crowner for whether to make the index will be ready to call tomorrow.
Edit: I also neglected to mention that I'm against having tropes listed on both No Recent Examples, Please! and the index for other types of partial bans, but I do feel that there might be a case of moving Oppressive States of America to the latter, since the former is intended for tropes that allow examples after a certain amount of time has passed, while that trope completely forbids real life examples from after the Civil Rights Movement instead of having a waiting period. Same for any other tropes that completely ban examples after a certain point of time instead of having a waiting period, if there are any.
Edit: I made Sandbox. Some Real Life Examples Only as a starting point for the index. Most of the text was directly copied from Administrivia. No Real Life Examples Please page as a starting point, so it would probably be a good idea to change the wording to be less samey if that's necessary.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Calling in favor of the following:
- Empower the Real Life Section Maintenance thread to handle Crowner decisions on "some Real Life" proposals, allowing RL with exclusions. Currently the only options are a full RL ban (NRLEP) or to keep all Real Life.
Is the Administrivia. Some Real Life Examples Only name I suggested fine as-is, or do we need another crowner for what to call the index? While the sandbox for drafting the index is Sandbox. Some Real Life Examples Only, that was intended to be a working title in case anyone would prefer a different name.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The only other possibility I can think of is Administrivia.Limited Real Life Examples. Not sure which option would be better though.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.I think the name you came up with works the best. It just feels natural and communicates that it's related to No Real Life Examples, Please!
Also, is it possible to crowner a trope to be moved from NRLEP to SRLEP? Like how I wanted to just have Body Horror only ban human examples.
Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread! The RL cleanup thread could be used to change a full ban to a partial ban (or vice versa). It was already able to be used to remove NRLEP restrictions if someone could put forth an argument in favor of removing NRLEP restrictions from a trope.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Alright. I also added The Von Trope Family to the sandbox since it was technically always had a partial RL ban since it only allows deliberately invoked RL examples.
Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread!I hooked a crowner for deciding on the index's name. We can work on the text of the index in the meantime. (Since deciding on the name of the index is more minor than deciding whether to have the index to begin with, we can probably call this in three days instead of having to wait a week.)
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Calling in favor of Administrivia.Limited Real Life Examples Only. I'll move the sandbox to that name to make moving it to Administrivia/ easier once it's ready to be moved into place.
Edit: Moved the sandbox to Sandbox.Limited Real Life Examples Only. I haven't checked if any work's been done on it, but regardless, do any more changes need to be made before it can be moved into place? If any tropes currently listed on NRLEP need to be moved there (like what was done with Safe Word in the past), that can be done using the Real Life cleanup thread instead of this thread.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. For Oppressive States of America, wouldn’t that go on No Recent Examples, Please!?
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project! It's already listed there.
This is Idol Tap. (My Troper Wall)So does it also need to be on Limited Real Life Examples Only, unless many of the pages on that list should be on LRLEO? And if so, would that be redundant since we already have a separate index for that? Many of the tropes listed there do allow recent fictional examples, and there are other possible reasons to only allow some RL examples.

Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!Don't know if this is right place to ask but on Jan 29th ~civetcatcoffee rewrote the description on Mr Bates vs The Post Office. I won't deny my original description might be clunky but I tried to write it from a 'in universe' point of view, I'm just concerned it's become a bit more Real Life Troping and I was wondering if it needs to perhaps be rewritten to be somewhere in between.
So I can't think of anything right now... meh.I went ahead and moved Administrivia.Limited Real Life Examples Only to Administrivia/ and locked it (as with other Example Sectionectomy indexes) since there were no objections to the contents that were on the page when it was a sandbox. As usual, the Locked Pages thread is used for requests for additions and removals.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. Will there be a designated discussion (is it necessary?) for checking which already NRLEP should be partial?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupDiscussion regarding whether anything should be moved from NRLEP to LRLEO (which was already done with Safe Word and The Von Trope Family) can be done via the cleanup thread.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. Can anyone advise me on my question in
So I can't think of anything right now... meh. This is a policy thread for the NRLEP policy (and now the LRLEO policy, which should probably be mentioned in the title), not a policy thread for Real Life Troping in general or a cleanup thread for real life troping. There's probably a better thread for this on Wiki Talk (for the Real Life Troping policy in general, or related policies other than NRLEP and LRLEO) or Long-Term Projects (for cleanup).
Edit: Title amended to account for the launch of the LRLEO index.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Yes, I was asking for advice on which thread.
So I can't think of anything right now... meh.
Don't forget theme park examples as they are technically Real Life places under a different folder.
Kirby is awesome.
