A recurring question: When is it long enough to split off a subpage?
While answers varynote , we can usually tell when a subpage is not long enough. Bring any candidates here and we can discuss whether or not they were properly split off and agree on whether or not to merge them back.
Here's one to start off discussion: Pun-Based Title.Webcomics. Merge back to Pun-Based Title?
AndYouThoughtItWouldFail.Music Videos has only one example
Splash of Color's Anime, Comic Book, Western Animation, and especially Fan Works subpages are very short.

, so since I just put one on the cutlist, they're not too hard to move / check...
Belle And Sebastian, I'm holding off until I figure out whether to disambig and stuff. YMMV indicates yes.

Today I'm having this giant pile of salt.
I'd like to suggest a merge of ShaggyDogStory.Visual Novels to the main page since it has only 2 wicks.
I don't think any of the subpages for Forgotten Birthday are necessary, since the main page is nowhere near being too long at just 30 examples. See ForgottenBirthday.Fan Works, ForgottenBirthday.Live Action TV, ForgottenBirthday.Western Animation. Would it be ok to merge them back?

Can the subpages of Kansas City Shuffle be folded back into the main page? Some of the pages have less than ten examples, and the whole combined page would be less than 180 000 characters.

Magical Girl Warrior now has subpages for MagicalGirlWarrior.Video Games and MagicalGirlWarrior.Western Animation, yet both seem a little too short to justify a page split. Any second thoughts?
^yeah, especially when you comment out ZCE. i'd say merge
^^ the video games subpage for sure. the others can also probs be merged back, but i can see an arg for keeping them given the length of the examples

Freshy Kanal has gotten many subpages that don’t have that many examples.
The ones for Awesome Music, Fridge, Nightmare Fuel, Formula Breaking Episode and Stealth Pun all look pretty short.
Also, the tropes on the main page are separated on four folders, even though none of them have that many tropes.
The "namespace" ones (moments, fridge) are in an inbetween state where some folks split them off right away and others wait for some length. I don't believe we've gotten a resolution for those yet. However, FormulaBreakingEpisode.Freshy Kanal and StealthPun.Freshy Kanal are definitely too short. Not all the examples on the latter are contextualized as well.
I think the Fan Works/ one can definitely be merged back. I wouldn't actively try and put back the others, but won't lose sleep if they're merged back as well.

Double Post: Cerebus Callback subpages DuckTales (2017) and The Owl House at least seem like they should be on CerebusCallBack.Western Animation before these two pages, no?
oh yeah that's a really strange split. if anything there should be just the western animation page, but I don't think the Western Animation folder has an over abundance of examples that a separate page would be needed

I agree; it doesn't seem like there's enough content to split the Western Animation folder out into its own page.
You Could Use some Imagination
ActionGirl.Tabletop Games only has six entries, several of which are rather short and one of which is for Chess (not knocking Chess, just pointing it out).

ImageSource.Puppet Shows can probably be merged back into ImageSource.Live Action TV. It only has nine works.
