Nothing but a Stock Phrase with no narrative meaning other than that someone hates something, and gets misuse where nobody says the line.

Anyway, I don't think we'd lose anything of value if we just cut this. It only has 40 wicks, so cutting it wouldn't take long.

I asked the other mods if we can waive the Three-Day Rule since Stock Phrases Are Not Tropes, but it's almost 3 AM where I live, so it might be a while before I get any answers.

(Its XI Hate X Wick Check is not a proper wick check, it's just an unsorted list of examples)

I'm aware it's not sorted, but considering the examples that aren't ZCEs are simply about a character hating something (not even always saying they hate it), I was more lenient with it. Personally, I don't think a wick check is as big of a deal with this as with pages with more substantial wick counts.

I feel like there is trope in there. A character saying something that the audience expects they to like only for them to say they hate it is valid, even if redundant with Bait-and-Switch. If we do cut it, we could recommend that trope in the cut reason for the legitimate examples.

you can yard that idea and yarding is a free action. It might be covered already under Bait-and-Switch Comment, though
