This page has 6 wicks, despite existing since 2008, with 7 on-page examples (excluding one real-life thing?) but none of them link to works pages. It seems a little too rare to trope honestly (or just some random fad that didn't take off as implied by the description's second-last paragraph), so I'd probably vote to cut.
