Needs Help: Logical Fallacies

Ok, I've launched Logical Fallacies. I'll get to trimming down the Main/ page in a minute. I don't know that I'll have a ton of time to work on dewicking, but I'll do what I can.

By the way, are we cutting or redirecting the pages that we're merging?

Also, I changed the page type to Useful Notes because most pages in non-Main namepsaces are erroneously set to "subpage" by default.

Edit: Indexed on Useful Notes under Psychology. Feel free to adjust that if it's the wrong section, because I couldn't find a better one (I figured it worked because Victim-Blaming is listed there, and that's another thing based on bad logic).

I just found Cab Driver's Fallacy, so you might want to figure out what to do with that one. It only has four navigational wicks, so it should be easy to move.

That said, I don't know if this term even exists. Searching "Cab Driver's Fallacy" I can't find it used outside TV Tropes and its mirrors. I found this but it's newer than the trope page, uses a different name, and hardly matches up with the page description.

I just noticed there is a logical fallacy missing the Appeal to Nature fallacy. Are tropers allowed to add missing ones?

Cab Driver's Fallacy is on the list of pages to merge. It's not on the crowner, but the thread agreed to merge everything with less than 10 wicks without voting on it.

Appeal to Nature still exists and isn't going anywhere.

So should Cab Driver's Fallacy have its text added to UsefulNotes.Logical Fallacies and be turned into a redirect to that page?

I've already added it and the other <10 wick pages to the useful notes page. I'm not the one who redirected the other pages, but I can redirect these too. (Edit: Most of them were already redirected, but I got a couple that weren't.)

I was the one who redirected the ones Septimus mentioned in the two posts he made calling the consensus (one for the stub pages, and another for the rest).

I'll do the wick clearing. Already got two of these redirects done.

Gonna keep going today. 18 redirects with wicks on non-locked pages left when I posted this. 15 left as of edit.

Double post, sorry. I got the last 24 wicks for Appeal to Pity, so not counting a lone wick for Appeal to Ridicule on a locked page (which I submitted a request for in the Locked Pages thread), Argumentum Ad Nauseam is up next (going in alphabetical order).

Fallacy of Division dewicking is done, and I'll tackle the locked page.

I've noticed that redirects tend to be dewicked in merges like this. Is that really necessary? It prevents anchored redirects and makes it harder to split in the future if needed.

They're dewicked because the tropes no longer exist, and we're not supposed to use redirects. Why would we do a split anyway if we've agreed the splits aren't tropeworthy? Plus if we did let them be wicked, people who don't know about the TRS decision would use them.
