PAST THE FIRST ROUND, THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED:

• NON-TOURNAMENT VICTORY BRIBERY (Ex: Only doing X if someone else does Y)
• RAIDING (Ex: Unleashing a poll link into a Discord server and telling everyone to vote for a specific character)
• LOOPHOLE ABUSE

I left it a little vague but basically whoever wins will have to become the avatar of everyone (at least everyone participating in this) on Forum Games.

Right, considering this is a bracketed tournament, I, as the representative for the I.P.S. Team, argue that everyone should support us to win our bracket, as Obscure Isometric R.P.Gs from the mid 2000s are obviously the best choice to progress for everyone not in our bracket, as by the endgame, logically, we would be in the weakest position as a relatively obscure game series. Therefore, it is in your interest to back us to improve your chances later down the line.

Alternately the bribe of a vote could convince us to provide backing. (This is first come first served. However, a vote and an argument can make your position stronger to receive my vote, so as to not reduce this to mere vote-swapping. You can also receive my vote on basis of argument alone, if it is sufficiently persuasive)

FOR INSTANCE, THERE IS THIS CARD GAME HUMANS PLAY, THEY CALL IT "POKER". YOUR "HAND" HAS TWO CARDS FROM WHICH YOU CAN BUILD YOUR STRATEGY OFF OF. SHOWING YOUR HAND WOULD BASICALLY BE LETTING THE OTHER PLAYERS DISCERN YOUR STRATEGY BASED ON THE STRENGTH OF YOUR HAND AND ACT ACCORDINGLY. THIS SEEMS LIKE AN EQUIVALENT GESTURE.

THE CONTESTANTS ARE ALLOWED TO CHANGE APPEARANCE AT ANY TIME AS LONG AS THEY COMPLY WITH THE RULES OF THIS DIMENSION.

I WANT TO OBSERVE THIS COMPETITION AS IT NATURALLY OCCURS SO FROM HEREON OUT THERE WILL BE NO INTERFERENCE FROM ME UNLESS I FEEL IT TO BE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. ONLY COMMENTARY.

Alright, here's my pitch:

Y'all like Urban Fantasy? Because Mostima is the archetypal modern street wizard.

I mean, look at her clothes!◊ Spiffy and practical, perfect for her job as a long-distance courier. She also has a more traditional robe getup◊, hinting her past in Fantasy Vatican Laterano with an extra heaping of Bloodborne shout out. You may have noticed that everyone in the last image (including Mostima herself) has a halo. That's because they're all Sanktas, essentially Catholic angels with guns. You may also have noticed that Mostima has devilish horns and tails. More on that later.

She's ridiculously good with magic despite not being infected by magic cancer that gives most people superpowers. Her generic magic blasts (that can wipe out scores of clustered enemies) are among the weakest of her abilities. Her Black Lock staff literally locks enemy in place◊ while she pounds them with bursts of magic. The other staff, White Key, sends out rippling waves of magic◊, damaging and slowing anyone caught in its impressive range. Did I mention she can slow down someone's nervous system, making them experience time more slowly, just by being near them? And then there's that... thing◊ she can summon.

Outside all that Mostima is actually a pretty chill gal. While she never lets anyone get too emotionally attached to her, that doesn't mean she can't be pleasant to talk with. Her job takes her to all corners of the world, so she has a keen interest in local cultures and customs. Still, there's a lot of mystery around her. Where did she get those two staves? Why would she work as a courier despite all that power? How did she became a fallen angel in the first place? And perhaps more importantly, why did she turned her gun against her sister in arms, and what does that have to do with her fellow Sankta and courier Exusiai?

TL;DR: I am a simp for every character drawn by 幻想黑兔

x5 I think for the first round, it's a good strategy to be open. First round, everyone has a stake, and can be persuaded by the chance to keep their stake. Second and third rounds, persuasion will be important because that's when people start dropping out of the tournament and become purely voters.

PEOPLE WILL NOT BE DROPPED OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT AFTER THE FIRST ROUND. THE LOSERS WILL GO INTO THE LOSER'S BRACKET AND EACH OF THEM WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO MAKE IT BACK TO THE FINALS FROM THERE.

alright Armored Fury, you make a good case. She certainly looks spiffy in both forms (and both styles) and her magic attacks look pretty wild. Lorewise she's also cool, I'm a simp for angels and Catholic symbolism

If she wins, I'd have to change my avatar to a gacha anime girl. And would anything really be worth that?
