Huh. So this is open already.
Can we get some discussion going, since this should be a fairly easy fix. Either cut or send back to TLP.
This seems like a tropeworthy concept, but it's in a really bad state currently. Definitely sent it back (although it was created without TLP, so you'll have to copy any good examples into a sandbox).
back lolVote for cut. "Send back" to TLP (i.e. make new draft) optional.
for TLP.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportHere are the "good examples". The rest are ZCE:
- Kenshin and Soujiro in Rurouni Kenshin. Often, they move too fast to see, but their tiny little footsteps advancing at a slow pace are the only indication something is approaching.
- The Hidden Blade goes as far as portraying that samurai are so locked on the short-stepped shuffling gait of swordfighting that they've forgotten how to run properly. A westernized scholar races a samurai to show the superiority of the "western style" of running, which is just normal running.
- In Snow Crash, part of the way that Hiro recognizes that a swordfighting opponent in The Metaverse is a kendo practitioner is the way he shuffles around.
Retracted.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Send back to TLP
Bump. The majority of the consensus is to send back to TLP, but we'll need more votes to finalise that.
I guess I'll vote for sending it back, but who would sponsor the draft? I don't think I should, as I've never tried to write a TLP draft.
I'm find with sending it back if someone volunteers to work on it and if the rest of us don't just abandon it as soon as it hits the TLP.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIf no one's willing, can we salvage yard the thing?
Or given its low amount of wicks and inbound, maybe its just easier to just cut it first and hope someone gets around to it?
When the choice is between cutting and sending to the TLP, I don't see how a draft lingering around without a sponsor is worse than a cut. It doesn't hold up anything in the thread, and it preserves the idea for someone else to pick up in the future.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"OTOH, there's been an effort for a while now to clear out the TLP backlog. Just check out how many unsponsored drafts are in the TLP Adoption Drive. I'd rather not add another orphaned draft when we could just put the idea in the salvage yard and let someone interested make it from scratch at their leisure.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm changing my vote from sending to TLP to cutting and listing it on the Salvage Yard. If someone steps up to sponsor it, maybe that would be an improvement over sending it back without a sponsor (maybe). But considering how the "Ideas from TRS" folder on the Salvage Yard only has one entry at the moment, this wouldn't be hard to notice if we put it there.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Bump. Can the crowner be hooked?
Done, but one should usually holler to request a hook.

Crown Description:
The trope has a terrible description, and is not attracting any good examples.
So this trope has apparently been around since before 2010, and it only has 16 wicks, two of which are indexes. The page itself has a really bare-bones description, and almost all the examples are ZCE.
I believe there is some tropeworthy material in here, but it's definitely not conveyed very well. Send back to TLP?
