Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Scipion's lair
"And fuck!" Scipion complained as the Metroid clone sank into the ground. Luckily for the Zoroark, the season quickly ended and his school was soon repaired by the droids inside.
"Sigh... So it's Valentine season next? Ugh, makes me wanna puke. We're nominating something else." the evil Zoroark complained.
"I'm on it. I'm nominating guys who hate love." Morgan said.
Scipion eyed his accomplice and frowned when the evil Morgrem nominated a certain eldritch flower as a reserve.
"Morgan. This is a clone, right? Because if that's the real deal, Sixty's gonna faint." Scipion growled.
"Unfortunately, yes... I wish I could go to the Underground, capture her real bratty brother, turn him into a flower and feed him his SOULS or whatever. He looked like he had fun crashing your party, so why not have fun in the arena too?"
"Dude. Even if I was approving, that would be impossible for you." Scipion groaned.
"I know, I know." the evil Morgrem sighed.
"Well, we've got one. Who else-" Scipion pondered only for a familiar alien to teleport inside the lair.
"...Giegue? Are you okay?" Scipion asked him, noticing the tip of his arms, legs, and tail covered in red. He also looked very tired.
"As you can see, not really... I need to go to the arena." Giegue said.
"Huh, okay-"
"You visibly don't get it. I said I need to go the arena... as him." Giegue sternly added. Scipion and Onox's eyes went wide while Morgan smirked.
"Nope. No way. After seeing what that... abomination did at the Neon Quarters, there's no way I'm releasing it in the arena!! If I'm gonna nominate Giygas, I'll nominate a clone!" Scipion protested, slamming his fist against the stone table.
"You don't understand. This is necessary. Overtwhise, I might lose control for good once more." Giegue said.
"...Is that why your arms and legs are red like that?" Scipion carefully asked.
"Yes. So far, Niiue and I managed to contain him but... I know this is not going to last. Even together, we cannot contain a being as powerful as him until the end of time. I know he will have to be unleashed at some point. The arena is the safest place for that. The Gamemakers will just have to resurrect me as my normal-self afterward." Giegue explained.
"...You're sure you want to do this? Last I checked, that transformation is painful as hell for you. I know you're a special case alongside my tributes." Scipion said, frowning.
"I am. If the arena can handle copies of the entire multiverse, I know it will handle me as well. I trust that the nominators, the tributes, and whoever is working inside your schools to be careful."
Giegue suddenly grunted as he clutched his head, moaning. Scipion swore he was already hearing screaming voices inside the lair.
"H... Hurry... I-I feel we cannot contain him... Much longer..."
"...Fine. I don't like the idea, but fine. Good luck." Scipion said. Giegue teleported inside the arena in no time. He visibly got here just in time as red smoke pierced through his body, causing the alien to moan in pain and his body to be slowly decaying and tearing itself apart, witch voices starting to mutter illogical things around him.
"Boss...? You're sure you wanna see him win?" Onox asked his boss as Scipion grumbled to himself, looking away.
"Not really, especially the Death Battle since that means Giygas's going to stay in control for a while, but Giegue's right. Giygas has already been nominated anyway and it went mostly fine. If he does get into the podium though... That means Icy and Mr. "I've got a girl's name" are going to be in the same season as him. They're not going to like that." Scipion sighed.
"And the bear also got in the Death Battle. That means he'll have more chances to cross path with our favorite eldritch god." Morgan cackled.
Amphibia
Bamboozy's roar caused many toads to go towards her and Solid Rock, just as planned.
"This war hammer has been inspired by the destructive power of a Power Bomb, an ability that I master well. I trust you will be able to protect yourself with your natural defenses if I were to use one of them, young lady." Solid Rock said to Bamboozy, calmly yet sternly looking at the approaching army.
The massive Chozo raised his hammer and loudly cried as he slammed it against the ground, creating ground explosions going straight towards the toads.
Lightning Claws and Wild Sea split up and chose to attack the toad's army sides. The former attacked the right side and dropped his Phantom Cloak at the last moment, beheading a soldier with his enhanced claws before lunging at another, counting on his own claws and his agility to defend himself. The latter attacked the left one and also revealed herself. She jumped in the air with her usual cocky smirk, as she quickly spammed her deadly Plasma arrows.
Seeing most of the soldiers distracted, Blood Moon and Fire Eyes waited until they were good to go. The two Mawkin both looked at Knox at the same time, silently telling him to follow them before moving towards the camp.
Whispering Pines, The Painted Pier
"Well, I guess we could do a fun trip together? A bit like the kids did back at Las Pegasus." Nick suggested.
"Not interested. I'm not against sparring with you though." Arthur said.
"Hmm... Those are both good ideas. What do you think?" James asked the Bugtrio.
Silver Mountain, Forest
Lucian stared at June with wide horrified eyes. How the hell was she so calm when they were on top of such a huge Pokémon?
Aaron, still on guard, started to calm down as the Snorlax didn't answer, nor moved. Despite his gigantic size, he was still just a Snorlax, powerful, but lazy.
The massive Pokémon slowly turned his head to his side, noticing a wild Garchomp and a wild Haxorus furiously slashing at his side... Or at least they were trying to since they didn't even leave a scratch on it.
The Snorlax very slowly moved his arm towards the two dragons and poked them with his fingers... sending them flying in the distance at high speed. Aaron and Lucian watched in shock as the two dragons screeched in terror and gripped each other before disappearing in the sky
"O-O-OH PALKIA...!!" Lucian squealed, shutting his eyes tight, convinced the Snorlax was about to do the same thing to them.
Fortunately, just moving his arms exhausted the Snorlax and he then fell asleep, a Snot Bubble visible.
"...Alright. I think we're clear." Aaron sighed in relief before going towards Lucian and Oscar to give them a reassuring hug.
"It's okay. We'll just have to get out of his belly and we're good. You're alright?" the Lucario kindly reassured the trembling Pokémons.
'"I-I-I-I'm f-f-fine... J-Just t-telling m-m-my h-heart t-to w-w-work a-again..." Lucian stammered, taking deep breathes.
"S-S-So... G-Gigantamaxxed Pokémons a-are a thing here? I-I thought they only e-existed in w-w-worlds with humans!" the Lycanroc exclaimed.
"I thought so too. Thank Arceus it's a Snorlax and not another Pokémon... But don't worry, it looks like they're pretty rare. I mean it's the first one we came across in our lives." Aaron said.
"I-If you say so... I-I hope I won't meet with another one again because this is terrifying. Fascinating, but terrifying." Lucian sighed, still not letting go of Oscar.
"Well, I guess we have to hurry up. Do you think you can walk? If not we could try sliding down his belly with a sled." Aaron asked the group.
"A... sled?" Lucian asked
"Yeah. I could try making one with my aura bones. It would be faster, but riskier, especially if the Snorlax moves."

CAC: Indeed, specially cause freaking Giygas is one of the tributes.
(In the Arena)
Dick: (Sees the "mass" of red and black that is Giygas on their podium) Hopefully I don't cross paths with that thing after the horn. (Shaking in fear)

Ally runs through her Databanks to check if Cassie or Riley directly encountered CG last Nominator Games.
Do you not recall baking that cake with her, which inexplicably became sentient and devoured Dark Ichigo Montoya, Mr. Godzilla, and ConstantineA/N during the Feast? Or that you painted a mural with her? she asks Cassie.
Basement
6k1 looks at the ceiling as she and Mimi contemplate on the day Dave missed the Nom Games. The DM imagines herself lying in that hospital bed after that grueling season, holding Mimi's paw tight and being surrounded by her friends. Power, Ally, Mimi, Ralsei, Asriel, Ichi, Psyche... They dropped everything to visit her when Dave couldn't. They reminded her that she's still got them in the meantime, but her image of Psyche vanishes like a ghost...
The Waterblight was right... 6k1 thinks, my friends can't always be there for me, and it's up to me to weather through this cycle again... Dark 6k1 also had a point, but I'm still sticking to my hopes that maybe someday they'll come back...
But a harrowing realization makes her heart skip a beat. What if Dark 6k1's watching her mope in her bed right now?
No... I have to move forward... She already made her first move, and I can't let her win...
Her thoughts are interrupted when Claire calls her that the season has ended. 6k1 sighs and answers her.
"Who will you nominate for the Earth Prime-annual Valentine's Day season?"
"Doug and Priyanka Maheswaran. I know they can't be guaranteed to be together, but I prefer to nominate them separately in case they do. I want to see meaningful interactions between them beyond what nominating them as one would show."
"Alright, I'll call them."
6k1 waits a while, then Claire gets back to her that Doug will go in first, but data cloned because he's just a security guard who doesn't have the fighting skills like his daughter Connie, while Priyanka will be on standby. If she's qualified as a reserve, then she'll be also data cloned since as a doctor, she wouldn't want to break the Hippocratic Oath.
"She's aware that she fought those Cluster Gems, but that was out of self-defense."
"Alright, fair enough. But please inform the rest of the staff to contact me only for nominations or emergencies. I still need to rest."
"Okay, 6001."
The DM ends the call and watches Data Doug go to his podium, the latter unaware of a certain Gem couple joining him...
Power's Home
"...and that's why I stayed with Ichi last night."
Miranda's jaw drops and briefly glances at the magic screen just as the season ends.
"...so you switched bodies with Ralsei just like Yes Man and Dr. Yap?"
"Yes... and going on that mission was a big learning experience for both of us."
Miranda suddenly pulls her niece into a hug.
"Pow-Pow... I knew that some big disaster would happen in yet another of your outings... but I'm glad that you didn't skip it!"
"Wait, what?" Power asks. "I just wanted to bond with Ralsei but then..."
"...you made the most out of it. Remember when you used to leave early when things went downhill?"
"Yeah...?"
"Now look at you, going on a big mission to make up for it!"
Miranda noogies her, but Power gently pushes her hoof away.
"C'mon Mira, I also rescued Carlos after S115!"
"I know, but your last adventure was much bigger and even if you were swapped, you still went on it!"
"Oh... now I feel more confident than ever, so if 6k1's vacation goes awry, then I know what to do!"
"But don't let that get over your head! If you think that going home early's still the best option, then do it!"
"Got it!" Power nods.
"But speaking of 6k1... how's she doing? Are you sure that she's still going to push through with that?"
Whispering Pines
"Well..." says Ralsei, "it's just that we don't want to attract too much attention from the Lightners if this pushes through. According to the prophecy, if too many Dark Fountains are opened, it'll unleash the Roaring and overthrow the balance between light and darkness, turning us Darkners into stone and leaving the Lightners defenseless."
"OH... GOD..." says Rouxls.
"A most terrible fate if that were to happen," adds Swatch while Seam nods in agreement.
I Thought Creating A Dark World For Noelle Would Increase Her Happiness Levels says Queen, But Thank You For The Warning Message Back There Ralsei (Sincere)
"But what does this have to do with this meeting?" asks Lancer.
Ralsei sighs. "Susie said she was nervous of being caught sneaking into the school's supply closet by her teacher. Sure, she's a rebel and did that several times, but this means one of the Lightners might be suspicious of where our kingdom is..."
"So she and Kris might be banned from the Dark World?"
"Maybe, but they can't keep this up forever, and what more if the other Lightners discover that another universe is involved with us?"
"And you're saying that this might be a bad thing?"
If My Analysis Is Correct Queen says to Bradley, Then Ralsei Is Concerned That This Might Encourage The Lightners To Visit Other Universes And Create More Dark Worlds There
"That's right... we Delta Warriors would have to travel far just to seal them..."

Indeed! A trip sounds wonderful! Where shall we go? (Henry says.) Around here? Your world? Or perhaps a completely different world entirely. I do have my communicator after all.
I'm beginning to feel that this is going to be more trouble than it's worth if the simple act of opening your world to our world risks ending yours, or even our own. (Bradley says.) Or you would constantly be having to close up these Dark Fountains or whatever they're called or having to regulate what these Lightner fellows do in other worlds, which I know they will probably not appreciate.
I mean, maybe there's some way to be careful about it? You guys have any ideas for how to open things up without causing this "Roaring" thing to happen? (Cam asks.)

...Oh. (After the Dragon-types are blasted off to who-knows-where, June begins to actually look a little worried. Oscar squeezes Lucian tight, trying to calm him back down.)
I could always change myself into somethin' big enough to sled down on, too. (June suggests.) Buuuuuuuut then again, I dunno what that'd be, so let's stick t' your plan, Aaron!
Amphibia
(The toads approaching Solid Rock and Bamboozy are quickly scattered, and a few start to straight up run away from them. With a bored expression, Bamboozy boxes a few in with bamboo.)
(Upon seeing what's going on, Grime rushes in to fight off the invaders, but ends up running into Knox, Blood Moon, and Fire Eyes as they enter the camp.)
What is the meaning of this?! (Grime shouts, aiming his warhammer at the intruders and readying himself to fight them.)
(At this point, the commotion near the camp reaches Sasha where she went off by herself and she starts running back.)
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"

"Hmmm... You know what? I think we should go in another world, a random one! It's always more fun when it's random." Nick exclaimed.
"Excellent! I am not against this idea as well! I do hope that this will not be too bad." James proudly agreed.
"Hmph... Fine by me. Maybe it'll be worth it." Arthur sighed.
Silver Mountain
"If you say so. Besides, you aren't a Changeling anymore, so I don't think you can shapeshift like before." Aaron said to June.
"W-Well... I-I feel a bit tired too s-so I'm not against using a sled either." Lucian said, slowly calming himself since the Snorlax was busy sleeping. Realizing how tight Oscar was squeezing him, the kind Lycanroc smiled at him and nuzzled with him.
"Thanks, Oscar. You're so brave." he giggled as Aaron summoned his Aura bones and got to work.
"Lucian? Do you think you can guide me?" the Lucario asked his friend.
"Oh, of course!" Lucian exclaimed, having calmed down enough to let go of Oscar and help Aaron build the sled since he had experiences with building hand-crafted objects before he studied technology. Though Aaron's first tries were unsuccessful, he eventually managed to make a very simple sled for four people.
"Hmmm... I think it's good." Lucian said, touching the sled to make sure it was solid.
"Alright... Thanks, Lucian, I don't think I would have been able to do it without you." Aaron said, petting Lucian, causing the sensitive Pokémon to laugh a bit.
It was around this moment that the Snorlax woke up and lazily watched the four friends again. This time, the giant Pokémon had a smile on his face.
"You... Do you think he's going to attack us?" Lucian asked, still fearful of the Gigantamaxxed Pokémon.
"I don't think so. If that Snorlax wanted to attack us, he would have done so by now." Aaron reassured, sitting at the front of the sled.
"Okay. June, you should sit next to me. Lucian, Oscar you're going behind us. You must hold on to us no matter what happens, okay?"
"O-Okay!" Lucian said, going aboard and tightly hanging on to Aaron from behind.
Once June and Oscar were ready, Aaron pushed themselves and the group soon sledded down the gigantic Snorlax's body. Aaron hung on tight to the sled, feeling Lucian squeezing him and occasionally screaming from the speed. Both were nervous, but thank god it wasn't as rough as Las Pegasus.
The Snorlax yawned as he watched the group. He didn't understand everything, being a wild Pokémon, but he more or less understood they wanted to reach the Silver Mountain's summit.
He decided to give them some help.
Without warning, the Snorlax gathered his strength and jumped in the air at the last moment, causing the sled to took off in the air, allowing the group to skip a bit of the road ahead.
"OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!" Aaron screamed, caught off-guard and instinctively gripping June's hand.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!" Lucian squealed behind him, his grip tightening as the sled was about to (safely) land near a cavern.
Amphibia
Solid Rock smiled at Bamboozy trapping some toads in bamboo boxes and he was quick enough to kick and throw them at the toads. With the toads closing in, Solid Rock started to directly slam his hammer at them, with enough forces to send them flying away in the sky or outright reduce them to a bloody pulp, doing his best to protect Bamboozy.
He knew he could use a Power Bomb to kill most of them, but the old Chozo stayed on the defensive for now.
That wasn't the case for Wild Sea and Lightning Claws. The female Chozo kept harassing the left side of the army, freezing the toads, cutting through them, or burning them with her energy arrows. She even started to punch and slash at some of them physically. As for Lightning Claws he seemingly retreated and started to run aimlessly, gathering speed thanks to his Speed Booster. Once he accumulated enough energy, the Chozo looked coldly at his enemies as he hovered in the air before flying straight towards them at great speed, using a Shinespark and obliterating anyone that was on his way.
It didn't take long for Knox and the two Mawkin to cross paths with Grime. Blood Moon looked around himself instead of answering.
"The human pest does not seem to be here... What a shame." he sighed before pointing his spear at Grime with a sadistic grin.
"Now toad... The coyote's bracer should give you a hint. It is time you join back your rightful masters."
Fire Eyes also readied himself, knowing Grime would not just come quietly. He had to be defeated first. He would have preferred a simple duel, but the mission's success was more important than his personal needs.
"Blood Moon?" the young Mawkin said to his friend, looking sternly at their target.
"With pleasure. Coyote, assist us. Do not fail me."
Immediately, both Mawkin lunged at Grime with their spears, engaging him. Both were already fearsome by themselves, but the way they coordinated and completed each other was remarkable. Blood Moon was the most aggressive of the two, swinging his spear constantly, trying to bash Grime in the face with his shield as well as the usual kicking/punching/clawing, with a grin that screamed for blood. Fire Eyes kept his collected face and didn't attack as often, protecting his companion and Knox with his shield or spear and striking at the most opportune moment.

Dick: More anthro Pokemon? Where do they come from?
Fire Vulpix: Got a problem with us?
Dick: (Puts hands in front of himself) Honest? No. It's just that a lot of them are appearing lately in these Games.
Ice Vulpix: Oh... okay.

Elfin: CAC! Why on Earth...
Platinum: Calm down, nothing is stopping me from rooting for both Dick and the pair of cute fox Pokemon to get a podium finish.
Jimmy: He's right, Elfin.
Elfin: (Groan) Fair enough.

6k1 gets a message from the Science Center that Priyanka didn't make the cut. She's a bit tempted to squeeze her data clone onto Doug's podium, but she still sticks to her plan. She can just nominate her after the Death Battle.
"Mom?" asks Mimi, "Ally told me that Arky and I might not get back together after all..."
"Oh, she did?"
"Yeah, and he might just forget about me and look for another Starble..."
6k1 pets her. "We don't know for sure if you'll ever meet again, but remember, it's not the end of the world if things don't work out. It won't be easy to accept this, but your Grampa Gorey believes that you have the courage and determination to move forward."
"Really?"
"You bet! And I'll be here to support you no matter what!"
"Awww... but what about you? You still don't look like you're ready to move on..."

"I'll have to look into it, but if we'll open them here, then there should be a way to close them manually and remotely. We'll also have to increase security so that Lightners don't accidentally stumble into our world."

After an agonizingly long time, Giegue's mangled body had disappeared, leaving only Giygas... surrounded by quite many couples. Love being his weakness, it didn't take long for the eldritch being to scream in agony as it glitched out and muttered nonsense.
"G...o... bAck...! gO... aWaY...!"
"iT... hUrTs...! iT hUrTS!!! IT HURTS!!!" he shrieked as he attempted to destroy himself to make the pain stop.
Luckily(?) for him, Woddy somehow managed to step inside the eldritch fog and talk him out of it. Somehow, the toy's words reached their target and Giygas started to "calm down", muttering and screaming Woody's name again and again as he left.
Later, Giygas got attracted by Doug beating the shit out of Marie Antoinette. Perhaps was it the bit of Giegue still inside that Woody helped preserve a bit, but Giygas more than easily blocked Doug by starting to invade his mind.
"fRiend... hAppY... mY f...r...i...e...N...d..."
"GET UP!! GET UP!! GET UUUUUUUUUP!!!" he started to repeatedly shriek at her until she drove Doug away before getting away herself before Giygas changed his mind.
Scipion's lair
"Well shit... How the fuck did that happen?" Scipion muttered, visibly shocked by how Woody managed to talk with Giygas.
"Well given that's the same stupid toy who verbally trashed the younger version of the old moron your buddies faced at the Neon Quarters, I'm can't say I'm totally surprised. Guess he has a gift to step up against evil beings." Morgan said.
Scipion shrugged and facepalmed when Giygas somehow ended up jumping to his death, resulting in him completely glitching out and vanishing.
"...That's it?" Onox asked, dumbfounded.
"Yup... I expected more. I guess it's the arena."
"That's dumb boss, even for me."
"Yeah... At least I've got somebody for the next Death Battle."

Data Doug walks up to his podium and does a double take at Ruby and Sapphire holding hands.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be Garnet?"
"We decided to split up to see if we can do better than in our run as her in S87!" says Ruby.
"I would try to predict our placement," says Sapphire, "but that would be cheating."
Ruby groans.
"Anyway, where's your wife?" Sapphire asks Doug.
"She wasn't chosen to accompany me." He shrugs. "But what about those other Beach City friends of yours?" he asks, pointing at the couples in Bale's "Navies".
"We were in that same season as them, and they're from an alternate Beach City."
"'Our' friends are rooting for us back home!" says Ruby.
"Oh, alright then! Good luck!"
"Same to you!" Ruby and Sapphire say.
And so the horn sounds, but before they could leave, a singing poop spider introduces Seth and Eirika to them. They cringe and run off, with Doug grabbing a harpoon gun on the way out. He shoots Marie Antoinette with it, but he clutches his head and screams in agony as Giygas invades his mind. Meanwhile, Ruby and Sapphire try fighting Malcolm together, but he somehow punches them straight into the Forcefield, zapping them and their gemstones for good measure.
Doug then struggles to recover from the Mind Rape as he runs away from the eldritch horror. He goes to his camp and looks for his antique family photo, but notices some small purple arrows on the drawer. He clutches his head again and groans as he gathers his long-forgotten homework to use as kindling.
"I'd look for that thief, but that monster's... attack is killing me... and the elevator music's not helping, either..."
Power's Home
Miranda pops in the CD Tokage gave Power back at the carnival. Power's heart flutters as she watches herself and Ichi screaming their hearts and lungs out and holding each other on the ride. She could see Psyche in front of them, having the time of her life, but that just reminds her of that conversation with Ralsei after the trip...
I was right, that was the last time she'd ever hang out with us... but Ral's got a point, too...
Miranda then removes the CD after the video finishes and watches the next season with Power. She half-groans, half-giggles at just how many couples are making war, not love in the Arena.
"Pow-Pow, do you know what day it is today?"
"My least favorite holiday... right?"
"But you can still celebrate it even if you're single! Why don't you gift him something special today?"
Power's ears perk up. "You're right! My special someone doesn't have to be romantic!"

Mimi remembers when she was just a baby when 6k1 came back from her Underground vacation. She was just so excited to see her again, but the DM blew up on her for knocking over the ant farm when Mimi came running to nuzzle her. Seeing how upset 6k1 was over that, Psyche's death in S58, and the botched vacation, Mimi cured her neck rash with her antennae and begged for a cuddle. 6k1 said sorry and tickled her belly, and Mimi purred at her to cheer her up.
Presently, she makes her antennae glow and prepares to cast her healing spell on 6k1.
"May I?" asks the Starble.
"I wish Ralsei were here to cast Pacify on me," she says, "but I think just you cuddling me a little more will do."

(It works! Or at least works enough that Gigyas stops trying to destroy himself. Bo stops by Woody for a moment to give him a reassuring pat on the shoulder before the head away from the Cornucopia.)

(Or was it? The branch breaks and falls down. Luckily, Bo catches herself with her crook, but it looks like the branch fell down and landed on someone.)

(Knox is about to strike Grime when Sasha rushes in from seemingly nowhere and shoves Knox off of Grime. She takes a moment to look in horror at the carnage going on around the camp before regaining her composure and glaring at Knox, Blood Moon, and Fire Eyes.)

After being surrounded by geniuses, Kyouko and Izumi invite Data Doug to their campfire. He gladly accepts it and sits next to them, then vents about Giygas' attack on him and his stolen photo the other day. He then goes about his day searching for the thief, unaware of JFK ranting at the other tributes for not finding his drawing of a fusion between Doug, Malcolm, and the Companion Cube "cursed" enough.
Later that night, Seth and Eirika suddenly fire bullets at Doug, who dodges them thanks to his police training. Violet and Edelgard then smile at him the next day, to his confusion.
"You don't look like someone who'd smile, Violet..."
JFK, who was also confused by her smile, then noscopes him the following night.

"Miranda... was it because of that drawing?" asks Power after Doug's death.
"I would try analyzing his motives since apparently, he regrets it, but since he's from Earth Prime, I'd rather not. So... wanna go to the bookstore now?"

Lazily watching the season, Scipion's eyes widened when Kyouko and Izumi entered his past self's school, to his utter shock.
"E-EXCUSE ME???? THE BASTARD GOT NEW STUDENTS THAT FAST???" he shrieked. Luckily for the couple, they safely exited though they were carrying a bag of Valentine's chocolate with them.
"Boss? Do you wanna know what happened insi-" Onox was about to ask.
"Fuck no. That stupid mummy did something linked with Valentine's day, I am not watching that."
Scipion then left to take a drink, but by the time he came back, the season was already over.
"W-W-What?" Scipion stammered. He quickly regained his composure and nominated Stray Cat again. The cat/flower-like Stand soon appeared on the podium, resting as a normal cat would.
"Now that's it's done, I'm gonna resurrect Giegue. You two stay here, okay?" Scipion said.
"Yes boss!!" Onox exclaimed.
"Hmph... Fine." Morgan sighed, shrugging.
Amphibia
Fire Eyes couldn't help but smirk at how Grime was defending himself from him, Blood Moon, and Knox. He had to admit the toad captain would have made an excellent opponent in a duel despite not being a Chozo.
As Knox started to get the upper hand, Sasha came to the rescue, having bypassed the rest of Blood Moon's squad unnoticed.
Fire Eyes sternly looked at her, but then looked in concern as Blood Moon's sadistic grin widened.
"Good." he muttered, his eyes turning white.
"We have played long enough... Fire Eyes, search the camp for any other fools that might disrupt us, then help the others distracting the rest of the primitives. Coyote, incapacitate the human, but do not kill her." Blood Moon ordered.
"Blood Moon-" Fire Eyes tried to say, knowing full well what Blood Moon planned.
"I need to see for myself what the coyote can do on his own. And the toad will not yield even if we defeat him in battle. But now... I have what I need to make him kneel. You will not stop me. That's an order! Go now!" Blood Moon ordered.
"...Fine. But do not actually do it without our consent, nor will I allow you to hurt Knox if that thought crosses your mind. I will still keep an eye on you from afar." Fire Eyes reluctantly said. He still gave a reassuring glance at Knox, silently telling him he wouldn't be too far, before going away.
Blood Moon groaned, then screamed in pain as he doubled over and fell on the ground, turning into his X-form. The abomination shrieked at Grime before shooting a jet of black ooze from his maw to incapacitate him.
Whispering Pines, The Painted Pier
Soon enough, Madeline came back with everyone's orders. James thanked her before tasting his Chery tea.
"Aaaah... Marvelous! Simply marvelous! I truly needed such a delicious drink!" the Inteleon exclaimed.
"Don't you think you're doing too much? It's kinda their job to make good drinks." Arthur said to him, annoyed by his partner.
"Then you could say it's good instead of saying nothing." Nick said to the Decidueye, enjoying his carrot juice. Arthur groaned and drank his Ganlon beer, silently appreciating it too.
"By the way, you're sure you want to do completely random? We might end up in a world that may be so different from ours it might give some of us creeps, or actually be dangerous." Arthur asked Henry.
"Hey, that's part of the fun. Remember the talking train? That was weird, but definitively something. So imagine a world where, I dunno, gravity isn't a thing?" Nick giggled.
"I suppose you are both right. But in any case, we are two rescue teams, I believe we can overcome any challenges together." James said with a proud smirk.
"Even worlds filled with spiders and insects, or like SR388?" Arthur asked with an annoyed look.
"Y-Yes! I-I am certainly not going to back down! Although I would need all of you to stay... well, close if that is the case." James said, trying to keep his cocky smirk despite realizing this fact. Arthur smirked a bit, glad to see that James didn't change his mind.
"You're actually serious? Well, that's freaking brave of you. Don't sweat it, you know that I won't let you down, and so will the birdbrain." Nick giggled, putting a paw on James's shoulder. The Inteleon tried his hardest not to blush in front of everyone.
"B-Birdbrain? Do you have a death wish, carrot sucker?" Arthur hissed.
"Hey relax! I'm sure you would forget that anyway if we end up in a world full of Mimikuys." Nick teased. Arthur stared at the Cinderace with wide eyes.
"...How did you-"
"James told me." Nick said.
"...I swear if you get one of these... things near me, I'm going to murder you, no matter if you're my boyfriend." Arthur said, pointing his wing at Nick while he and James giggled.
"Have no fear, I do not plan for that anyway." James said.
"Me neither. James got already upset when we pranked him once, so imagine you being upset." Nick added. Arthur scoffed but still grinned.
Once everyone would have finished, James paid Madeline (while thanking her like he usually would), before he and his team got ready.
Silver Mountain
Still screaming in fear, Aaron noticed the cavern June was pointing at. He shut his eyes tight and braced himself for impact, squeezing her paw tighter. Lucian grit his teeth and instinctively ducked his head.
Thankfully, the sled safely landed on a pile of snow. A dizzy Aaron opened his eyes, panting, and looked around himself
"Ooooh... I'm really not made for that kind of stuff..." Aaron groaned, putting his paw on his chest.
"Oof... Is everyone okay?" he then asked, looking at June, then at Lucian and Oscar.
"I... I am. Wow..." Lucian said, taking deep breathes too. To Aaron's relief, the Lycanroc had a small smile on his face and even looked less shaken up than the Lucario. Noticing how tight Oscar was holding on to June, Lucian was quick to hug him to reassure the Thievul.
"Gosh... I appreciate that the Snorlax helped us skip some walk so that we can reach the summit faster, but he could have found a less... extreme solution." Aaron said, letting go of June's paw and adjusting his snow hat and scarf.
"That was still nice of him... B-But I hope this is the last time we'll come across a giant Pokémon. That was an insane experience overall. And thank Arceus that was a Snorlax and not a more dangerous species." Lucian giggled.
Aaron nodded and rubbed Lucian and Oscar's heads with a smile before looking at the cave.
"Alright... I think it's an ice cavern. I don't think there are many wild Pokémons inside, so it should be safe." the Lucario said.
"You... You think there are Zubats in there?" Lucian asked, gulping.
"Hmmm... I don't think so. Zubats prefer dark caves like the tunnel of Darkrai. It's going to be okay." Aaron reassured. Lucian was still a bit nervous but nodded.
Inside, Aaron carefully led the way. Lucian stayed close, but couldn't help but stare in awe at the ice walls, or the shining stalagmites inside. Seeing his and his friends deformed reflect reminded him of the mirror maze at Whispering Pines, though less confusing. He also felt the temperature dropping, but Oscar's vest kept him warm.
