Wow. Nice mix of acoustics and electronica, reminds me of Everything but the Girl to a degree.

Yves Tumor - Gospel For a New Century
How ironic that this is from an album entitled Brute Force. Nothing about this is brutal or forceful - it's gentle, melancholic, subtle. Even the string section keeps to the background of the mix, unwilling to disturb the mood, and it's all the better for it.

be nice to benjamin it's not his fault he got beat up by a microbenice. Although, it's a bit soft from what I expect from French metal.

One day you're here, baby / And then you're gone.....Sortilège - Quand Un Aveugle Rêve
No, I think it's a bit boring. The vocals are good, though.

: Iiiiiinteresting. I'm totally unfamiliar with Monster Hunter, but I can kind of compare this to something from Ōkami or Sekiro in the way it ramps Japanese folk music up into something intense enough to work as a video game battle theme.

aside from the beginning with the slightly jumbled-sounding instrumentals, it's catchy, real catchy, especially with the beat at the rest of the song

This is great. It's like Throbbing Gristle actually decided to release an album jazz-funk.

The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.So I'd heard "Missing" before, like most people. Both the original and the Todd Terry remix that made it a smash hit, for the record. My opinion on both versions is similar - "alright, yeah, it's okay I suppose". This is my first exposure to the rest of Everything But the Girl's discography, and honestly, the reaction was again similar. It's a bit too close to sappy 80s-style balladry for my liking.

One day you're here, baby / And then you're gone.....I don’t know if I ever got around to sending this to you but I’ve felt for a good while now that you’d dig it. Kinda has a nice, technical deep house feel.
Neat! Kinda has a bit of that synthwave revival sound going even though it predates that scene by a good decade or two.
