I didn't realize it was a folder thing, either— so that's what you meant by "medium"! I thought this was about pages in the wrong namespace.
Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere. These were found wicked from Fan Verse, and seem like works:
Move to Fanfic or what?
There's also the years old JujuP.Sandbox.

It has only one example with anything like context, and that's after dealing with the grammar etc. errors. But PM the user first about saving it to a sandbox if they want to work on getting it up to standard. Not sure about the namespace/medium, just that it's a bad work page.

It might be possible to file those ideas under Fanfic Fuel.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Aren't those just fic prompts? I'm struggling to see how those fit into anything.
Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere.Judging by the history, it looks like a storage space for one troper's unwritten fanfic ideas. It seems to be an attempt at a subpage for their personal sandbox, except that's not how subpages for sandboxes work.
Said troper is Eviler Than Thou; maybe DM them and let them know this isn't an appropriate namespace so they can move the ideas to their tropers page or something?

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. That's a lot of pages in a namespace that's not acknowledged to exist.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. They're subpages of Sandbox.Fanfic Ideas. I don't think it's supposed to be a "supported namespace" much like, say, BadassNormal.Video Games isn't really a properly supported namespace.

Casting the spell of necromancy!
I've noticed that there's still some disagreement about where to put web serials. Complete Monster lists them under Web Original, but they're namespaced and indexed under Literature.

Rock'n'roll never dies!Web Serial Novels says literature.

Notifying because they are still active, and asking for clarification.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Web Serial Novel says they go in the Literature/ namespace. It says nothing about how to index them or where they go in an example section's Media Categories.
Note that difference between namespace and example categorization also exists with Western Animation/ — series go in the Western Animation category, but films go in Film — Animated.

Which is why I'm asking for clarification.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Same with Anime/.
Rock'n'roll never dies!I'm still considering a campaign to move all animated films to a new namespace.
I'm not aware of a consensus decision on Web Original vs Literature folder for Web Serial Novel. I tend towards Literature, but I check both when crosswicking and usually don't move from one to the other. Link to TRS threads in project mode here.
Not sure if this is the correct thread to ask this, but is it alright to split Light Novel/ and Literature/ under different media headings, just as Video Game and Visual Novel are often split into two separate categories?
I think Literature/ as a landing pad for Web Serial Novel is all right, especially with e-books making "web" releases more common. "Live-Action TV" does not distinguish if it's a streaming site exclusive or a cable show.

I'd also like to re-visit light novels at some point.
Looking at an arbitrarily chosen LN with an anime adaptationWhich one? , 15 of the 28 examples on medium subpages are in /Literature, and the other 13 are /AnimeAndManga. (As with many LNs, it started as a webnovel, but it's extremely unlikely anyone is specifically troping the WN.)
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. For the Web Serial Novel category, I lean towards Literature/ as well.
And according to the Media Categories FAQ, it's Literature/ so I suppose that's a consensus?
It's already agreed that they go in the Literature/ namespace, the question is whether they go in the Literature folder on a trope page as well.
That part on Media Categories FAQ was added by Ordeaux26 citing this ATT thread. Looking at that thread, there were a couple people saying they think they should go under the Literature folder, and Septimus saying it might need a wider Wiki Talk discussion.
I honestly don’t think Light Novel needs it’s own namespace. The difference between it and other forms literature is rather minor. It’s not like the split between V Ns and Video Games.
As for how to categorize them in media categories, I think it’s fine to just put them under literature but also don’t mind them having their own folder.
Macron's notes
Whoops, missed that part. I have seen that issue before with folders.
back lol
