Character Page Cleanup

On Characters.Return To Oz, should the unnamed girl, nurse, and doctor have their own sections? The unnamed girl is implied to be Ozma, though it's never technically confirmes AFAIK.

She had a section but it was deleted with the edit reason: I don't think we need a folder for the unnamed girl, since we don't have ones for the doctor or nurse at the institution, and unlike them, she's implied to actually BE Ozma, rather than just her counterpart.

I was dealing with Characters.Namco X Capcom to deal with TRS wick cleanup for Woman In White...and ended up doing extra work. Due to the page size, I can't deal with all the issues. There were ZCE entries and other example-writing violations.

Alright, I and a couple other tropers have added more tropes to The Mighty Thor The Character page. I'm not entirely sure if it has enough tropes to warrant the page's presence now though. Do you guys think it needs more added for it to be warranted?

I think it's fine; seems long enough to me.

Characters.The New Mr Peabody And Sherman Show (which should probably be moved to The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show, since it looks like the "New" part was just a Working Title) is almost entirely ZCEs and empty folders. Maybe it should just be redirected to Characters.Mr Peabody And Sherman.

Characters.Rollbots is almost entirely ZCEs. We should move good examples to the main page and cut it. (I'd do it now, but I'm busy with other cleanup work)

Should Characters.Wicked be divided into Characters.Wicked (play) and Characters.The Wicked Years (books)?

I think that'd make sense. The book and the play are two very different canons, and the characters act very differently.

There seems to be an issue with two folders on Characters.Persona 5 for the same character who is a Walking Spoiler. They have seperate folders on the Characters.Persona 5 The Phantom Thieves Of Hearts Second Half and Characters.Persona 5 Major Targets, the first one which covers their confidant and when they join the Phantom Thieves, and the second one covers their actions and post-reveal as Black Mask. My issue with this is that promotional material for Persona 5 Royal spoils the reveal that they're both the traitor and Black Mask (one of said trailers was shown during E3), and that people in general seem to be confused as to where to place tropes for this character, as tropes referencing their actions as Black Mask (especially in regards to their murders) are listed in the Later Members folder and tropes regarding them rejoining the thieves in Royal are listed in both folders.

Uuuuhh, are we dead?

This is just a thread people don't really think about very much... but I do think we need to keep it going. Character pages need help.

I was hoping that directing you to this thread would also have everyone else from the ATT report join in. I'll make a note on there that anyone who still cares about these pages should come and discuss it here...

As I said in the ATT query, I'd rather keep the pre- and post-reveal entries separate and keep everything related to Black Mask after he rejoins exclusive to Characters.Persona 5 Major Targets, including Loki. His identity is still meant to be a surprise in the original game; the P5R trailers giving it away is just a Late-Arrival Spoiler that assumes people played the original game.

Similar to KND, many subpages of Characters.The Harvester don't have the work in the title.

Characters.Shang Chi only has one folder, consisting either mostly or entirely of ZCEs. Personally, I don't even know if the page should exist.

Adding to the Black Mask discussion, the Major Targets page is giving a "This article is too long. It needs to be broken into multiple pages." warning when I go to edit it.

Edit: The page was split in half, but it feels unnecessary and I'm not too fond of having the Major Targets page split in two since it looks aesthetically awful.

With a page like that, I usually move all of the well-written examples to the main page and then cutlist the remainder.

Before the split, the second "half" was under the sub-header "Late-Game Antagonists", which would be a better title for the page.

Last thread derailment, looks like after trimming a ton of unnecessary spoiler tags and redundant tropes the pages fit together again. I'm still looking on input on handling Black Mask. Coincidentally, Black Mask's folder is also the largest one on the Major Targets page.

I find it weird that the character pages for Pokémon's villainous teams are named "Pokemon Villain: Team [name]". I asked this in ATT and the responses I got suggested that they should just be named "Pokemon: Team [name]". Thoughts?

I'm in favor of that. "Pokemon Team [Name]" sounds more natural.

Are Elmore, the Void, and Janice (Mr. Small's Hippie Van) on Characters.The Amazing World Of Gumball Other really characters? It's shown that (almost) everything in Elmore is alive, but Janice just acts like a normal van, and Elmore itself is only speculated to be alive since it decides what "mistakes" go to the Void.
