There should be a "Delete Video" button at the bottom of the editing interface.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I see no editing interface. I can only view them the same way I can view other videos that are not mine.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Did you go to the same page you uploaded the video and click "Edit Videos" again? The editing interface is unreasonably picky to access; of all the places it would make sense to appear, that's the only one it actually does appear in.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. My video is not yet approved, so it only appears under My Videos from my profile page.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Unless something has been changed, your videos not yet approved do still appear on the Edit Videos page for the trope. I've deleted broken uploads that way a few times.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Dang, I was looking at the wrong page. Yes, it's there, but I still can't edit it.
Edit: I finally found it. It's really well hidden.

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I've been notified that one of my videos has not been accepted... except that I didn't upload a video. What's up with that?
Our Elves Are Better got TRS'd; the videos need to be moved to Our Elves Are Different.
So, I'm wondering if 2.5mins might be too generous a limit. In my experience most tropes play out within 45 seconds; any video that's longer is usually because they include the setup & result which IMO can be trimmed out.
Reminds me of an old adage that one can skip the first 30% of a video and not lose out any important info.
Naw, I think its fine for a Maximum time limit, sometimes videos are within that ballpark and it is totally necessary to demonstrate the trope. Even with a maximum time of 2:30 , most uploaders still try and keep their vids short anyways.
Honestly, if you can't get the point across in under a minute, it's either not a good example or the trope is too complex to be easily illustrated. I got fed up with doing video approvals because of the sheer amount of time it took.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"True, maybe brevity can only be encouraged by making it a rule. But if and only if we actually change the time limit, I still think older ones that are longer than a minute should still be kept.
Should we change the limit, I think 1 minute would not be enough, as some tropes really need context. 1.5 minutes sounds reasonable though.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I'm against it. While keeping videos short and to the point is preferable, tropes like Overly Long Gag sometimes require more time.

Yeah, the current limit is fine as long as we make it clear that it's the maximum, not the recommended length.
Keet cleanupI feel like it's a bad idea to have a video on The Ace taking the place of an image. I don't think most people really have the time for that, and seeing as how no image is better than a bad image, the same should apply to the video. It feels... shoehorned in. Why does Echo Chamber get special treatment anyway? There are also videos in its main page.

That is a long video.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Echo Chamber is an entirely different case and I've been trying to get them moved down to the bottom of the page but so far that hasn't taken affect.
Still, I've never liked them. They're jarring and distracting and I don't care
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessHaven't the admins said that Echo Chamber does not have any special deal in place to keep them on trope pages? I distinctly remember something like that being said.
If that's the case, all it would take is an IP thread, the videos aren't hard-coded in or anything.
I have a feeling that we could be seeing video examples that aren’t music videos for music tropes. What I mean by this is that I could see someone uploading a video of a song from a video game but the video itself is just a screen with artwork from the game itself or the title of the game. This might be hard to explain, so I think that the best example of what I’m talking about would be music extension channels on You Tube. The point that I’m trying to make is that I’m not sure if these videos could be allowed or not.
"If brevity is the soul of wit, then I simply have no soul." He/HimHave you actually seen any Video Examples that are like this?
How do you upload videos to videoless pages? There is no "upload video" or "edit video" option, as claimed.
The upload video option only appears on a trope's edit page and the VideoExamples/ subpage, not on the main page.
It's kind of a messy design, but... well. So is everything else about video examples.
Also, make sure the trope in question actually has its page type set to "trope".

Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. Now that "Your Cheating Heart" has been changed to the Infidelity Index, what am I going to do about that one Kotoura-san video I uploaded there? I go there, and there are zero videos present, so I can't try to change the link name.

I have things to do and daddy issues to repress!
Is there a way to take down one of my own videos? I just realized that it has some bad artifacts.
