Not a Pokémon I find myself using all that often, but it does have a nice design and typing. 7.5/10.

Edgy wolfie, I love it so much. I wish it didn't suck tho. 9/10.

Probably my favourite of the three Unova starters design-wise being the ultimate smugsnake. Just wish it was more useful in-game without its hidden ability. Nonetheless, I do like it a lot. 8.5/10 you might be able to tell a little by now that i'm a massive victim of the four-point scale

It's like the Pokemon version of Godzilla. How can you not love it? 9.5/10.

I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DTyranitar.
It may not be as cute as Mudkip or as strong as Swampert, but I love the little guy all the same. And mine was hella useful during my Omega Ruby playthrough too. 9/10.

Marshtomp?
Not my most favorite Water-type (and it's annoying in actual playthroughs) but it's alright. 6.5/10.

I took that line as my starter for Y, so there's some lingering goodwill there, but apart from Spiky Shield it's pretty uninspired. Not great in battles, either. 7/10.

Not quite a favorite of mine, but it does look pretty cool and is one of the most powerful Pokémon out there. 8/10

A great Mascot Mook.Garchomp.
9.5/10. Eeveelutions are always good (especially in Gens III and IV), and that happens to be tied with Sylveon as my 2nd-favorite.

I don't actually hate it as much as my troper page would lead someone to believe. (I made that list after one in Sun/Moon proved to be That One Boss for me and I was mad at the species.) It's got a nice design and it's one heck of a Stone Wall. 8/10.

The League of HeroesTyrantrum.
6.5/10 Not bad, but there are better-looking (and in general more appealing) Pokémon imo

It's nice that Raichu finally got some love, and it's kinda cool I guess, though it also has the flimsiest excuse for its evolution. Still, I like it somewhat. 7/10

It's my all time favorite Grass-type Pokémon! I love its design and the one I had in Sun/Moon really helped me out. 10/10!

6.0/10. It's one of my favorite Bug-type Pokémon. I just don't like Bug-type Pokémon.
My absolute favorite Bug-type is Volcarona, tho

Lil tiny thing, I want one as a pet. I trained one up once, but not as a part of an in-game team. His name was Jerry. I dunno why. Jerry's one of those inherently funny names if you think about it. Also screw Jerry. And Jerry too, but to a lesser extent than that Jerry. That tangent had no relation to Joltik but I give it a 7/10 for being smol.
That was better than i was expecting it to be, thank you.

8.5/10, It's pretty good for countering pesky Steel-types, interesting backstory, and it looks pretty neat. Shame male Salandit pretty much got shafted like male Combee.

My favorite starter ever, favorite Fire Pokémon, and ties with Lugia as my favorite Johto Pokémon. 9.5/10; only doesn't get a 10 because of its lackluster movepool.

Ridiculously cute design, not the best Ice Pokemon but not bad, and a great evolution. 8.5/10.
