Knights vs Wizards worldwide Splatfest announced for March 15th.
EDIT for fixes: Your gear is actually your normal gear, but if you use wear the hat and shoes of the Enchanted or Steel series depending on your side, your Splatfest Tee will change to that shirt of that set, but retain the double power ability.
EDIT 2: It works with all Octoling amiibo gear, including the Fresh Fish set from the Octo form, and it doesn't matter what you put on on any of those sets, it will automatically transform your full set into your side's full set.

Considering it's likely a shout-out to a just released new entry of a beloved RPG series with a very popular mascot character with a theme song written and sung by a pop idol, likely everything.
I would really like to see an actual cartoon show made of Fresh Fish. Something small, especially see what he looks like in motion instead of that head.

I still wish we could wear our regular shirts in Splatfest, even if only cosmetically.
The Shrouded Knight
Well, which side I'll be on in this Splatfest will be a difficult choice. I enjoy both knights and wizards as characters. In fact, my avatar is a Magic Knight.
His name is Spectreblade, and he was my main in a now-defunct MMORPG called City of Heroes, a Broadsword/Dark Armor Scrapper, a Black Knight who wore a suit of armor with the soul of its original owner, his many-times-great granduncle, bound to it.
Scrappers were the game's melee damage-dealing class, backed up by defense powers. While Broadsword was a rather straightforward "hit stuff with the sword" melee damage powerset, his Dark Armor defense set was more nuanced. While it didn't have the raw damage resistance or evasion of some other defense powersets like Invulnerability or Super-Reflexes, it made up for it with stealth, status-inflicting auras, and two powerful AoE Life Drain abilities, one of which would revive me and stun nearby enemies.
Right now, I'm leaning more toward Wizard, since I'm more of a scholar than a fighter, but I haven't made a final decision yet.
