His memory of Vanguard has been Deleted. He still knows who he is, who the people he's met are, and all of that. It's just that EVERYTHING involving the card game barring the name of the game and that he can identify cards as being from them are gone.
Everything about it is a blank to him like this.
Besides, if he were Amnesiac Aichi he'd be wearing the fancy black coat and my title would be "Aichi Sendou - Seeker of Self". :P

The other 1 time out of 10, it either doesn’t or is pretty horrifying.
The closest thing to a catch is that it has to be possible (I.e. if you make a wish that goes something like “I want to become a Reality Warper” or “I want to have my own solar system”, then they can’t do it)
