Just finished watching Black Narcissus
Was recommended on account of it's cinematography ,they weren't wrong
New theme music also a boxI think the last movie I saw was End of Evangelion. I've seen it a bunch of times, but I was showing it to a friend of mine because he lost a bet.
Despite kinda hating anime, he said he enjoyed it. He went on a small Ghibli binge for about a week afterwards as well, with Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind and Laputa.
I think another friend got us both to watch Fury a bit more recently, but I spent most of the time looking at my phone.
The Death of Stalin.
Scurrilous, funny, and gets up that Chekist bastard Putin's left nostril. What's not to love?
Watership Down
Nice use of juxtaposition. Was always expecting the worst so I never had time to enjoy the positive moments in case they ended abruptly (which they sometimes did). Scenes ended quickly, characters weren't that fleshed, and new conflicts were abruptly established. Otherwise, it was very good.
Incredibles 2. It's just as incredible as the first one.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Incredibles 2 (note the lack of a "the" at the beginning). AWESOME!
Incredibles 2. And now that is three people in a row now who have said they have seen it.
Wait a second: How on earth did I even get here? You bet! This shows it really did break box office records!
Ocean's 8. Solid, funny and brimming with comic talent throughout.

Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)Jurassic World: Lost Kingdom.
I also saw Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. It was better than I thought it would be. :) Though there were still a few things the previous movie did that were better and vice-versa.
I like to keep my audience riveted.I watched The Big Lebowski for the first time last night. Gotta say it's probably one of my new favourite films.
Word's second most famous attorney with a bird-related name.Threads.
Hi48 Hours. It was quite good.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Ant-Man and The Wasp

I saw Best in Show last night. It was the first Christopher Guest movie I've seen but I gotta say, it makes me wanna see the rest of his Mockumentaries now.
Word's second most famous attorney with a bird-related name.Just finished Batman Begins.
Stripes. Something vaguely "patriotic" for July 4th. I enjoy this, but still feel the last act feels a bit irrelevant and it could have ended at an earlier point. It's almost as though they had a great idea for a bigger, more action-packed sequel partway through writing the script, then realized that they might not get to make a sequel, so they'd better just cram the idea into the last 20 minutes of the movie.
Twilight. So I might even go watch the whole series because this was campy and ridiculous but watchable. For some reason I really liked the "vampire baseball" scene - I kind of hope it's like Quidditch in Harry Potter in that there's at least a little bit of that in every movie. Also Kristen Stewart really does bite her lip or have her mouth half open that often in this movie

Ant-Man And The Wasp. Another fun side-story!
I just got back from seeing Ant-Man and the Wasp. It was very fun and exciting. And then whoa! Sudden Downer Ending much? :(
I like to keep my audience riveted. Not too sudden an ending. You saw it comin' if you saw the ending of Infinity War, but maybe surprised by exactly WHO it would happen to!
Final Destination
