I, too, have a fondness for happy family tropes. Any trope that shows family members caring for each other is bound to bring a smile to my face.
OT: One of my personal favorites is Cowardly Lion. Somebody who is scared out of their wits, but who still steps up and does the right thing. Mad respect!
I also like Cute Kitten, Precious Puppy and Ridiculously Cute Critter. Because I love animals.
And on that note, Kindhearted Cat Lover. I dislike the Cats Are Mean trope, so I appreciate tropes that show off liking cats as a positive trait.

My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.Recently I've become fond of heroes receiving their abilities from outside entities; so things like Super-Empowering, Bargain with Heaven, and so on. I suppose I like the implied humility of the hero being perfectly willing to not take all the credit.
I also want to see more examples of Our Spirits Are Different as major characters rather than in the background.
Basically anything that show that supernatural good is just as active in the lives of mortals as supernatural evil.

You say I am loved, when I don’t feel a thing. You say I am strong, when I think I am weak. You say I am held, when I am falling short.Speaking of heroes, I appreciate a variant of Alike and Antithetical Adversaries involving heterogenous heroes and heterogenous villains. In other words, both the heroes and villains are equally diverse. HH and HV also shows that your species, powers, colors, abilities, etc., don't define your morality, and such traits aren't inherently heroic or villainous; those traits depend on the person and how they use them. In the end, whether you're a hero, a villain, or in-between isn't define by your traits and race, you're defined by your character, actions, and intentions. That is why light and dark have equal potential for great good or ill evil rather than being inherently good and evil respectively. This applies to races/species, averting Always Chaotic Evil and (unfortunately) Always Lawful Good.

Google Snake Game.I love a Halloween Episode.
I'm way into Spiritual Antithesis created by the same person - it's fascinating to me, getting to see both sides of the same person come out, and it's something I don't think it's too visible in most works.
I tend to love happy families, so I like tropes like Cool Big Sis, Big Brother Mentor or Big Sister Instinct and their variants.
I also have a fondness for Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass and Let's Get Dangerous!, because I like when apparently harmless characters prove they are more than able to handle themselves.

Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.
