The Place for Purging Porn and Pedo-Pandering (AKA P5 flag evaluations)

I flagged it. I don't know anything about it other than what's on the page, and I'm not calling it porn; I've no idea if it is or not. I think it does need review in case it is, and the page has already been blanked twice.

If you're talking about Haramix, it's porn. I can tell you that right now.

The Ane Haramix page is already cut. It was one of initial ones by FE since it was in the Hentai index.

Fair enough. I wonder if the page creator was trying to evade that or made an honest mistake.

I flagged the Rance stuff to remind someone that it still needs deleted.

Over on YKTTW, someone was reluctant to add an example from Empowered for fear of "the new rules". My first reaction was, "that's silly", but now that I think about it, I have seen it sold sealed and with a warning sticker. There's only a moderate amount of actual sex, and it's never very explicit, and there's way, way more story, but apparently someone out there in the world of censors thinks it needs a caution. Should I bother asking P5 to take a look?

Well, given the page image alone, it'll be inevitable it'll be called for a look at and official answer, even if it's clearly not a case of either pedo-pandering or pornography.

You think so? I mean, if Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose, which features full-frontal nudity and sex (though not in the page image of course) can pass, it seems implausible that Empowered, which always uses Godiva Hair whenever the Clothing Damage goes too far, would be a serious question.

I mean, I'm willing to submit it for inspection; I just want to make sure I'm not wasting anyone's time (any more than this brief discussion might take, that is).

I don't think it's close to cut-worthy. And if you don't think so either, then there's no point in flagging it. If someone else thinks it could be cut, they can flag it.

Eh, lots of mainstream stuff gets the shrinkwrap treatment. I'm tempted to flag it (and angel it) just to get it over with, though.

You know how people get sometimes. They see girl with spandex costume and ton of tears on it showing skin, they'll assume the worst. Frankly, I don't want to waste the P5's time, but I'm cynical about the likelihood of people being intelligent enough to think before they flag.

I dunno. When this first started, there was definitely some overzealous flagging going on, but it seems like people may be getting a better handle on what's acceptable and what's not, and aside from some obvious misclicks, there aren't as many "ooh, this mentions sex so it must be bannable" flaggings going on.

Yeah, there hasn't really been a glaring "why was this flagged?" for a while. There's quite a few titles I was preparing defenses for, thinking that they'd be flagged by someone completely overzealously, but they haven't been brought up at all.

It's Dumb and Dumber type toilet humor, so it may not be your cup of tea, but it does not have any rape or sex.

I sent a holler to get VideoGame.Rance and VideoGame.Rance II cut, since that was the decision made in the Franchise.Rance thread.

My understanding is that the fate of Rance Quest will be decided with Sengoku Rance, so we'll see how that one goes. Follow the Sengoku thread for more details.

Yeah, Rance and Rance II were basically what was looked at when talking about the series, so I guess those will be cut.

I'd think Sengoku Rance and Rance Quest should be looked at separately though, given that they're separate games.

Two more things flagged. A hentai anime called The Elven Bride and some rather obscure manga and anime by Go Nagai called Iron Virgin Jun.

The "Jun" item (it reminds me of c-Jun, I'll take a look): According to the Wikipedia page and some reviews on the talk page, I can't quite decide if we should keep the anime or the manga, but at least one of these has enough plot not to be porn.

Someone flagged Narutaru.

Not surprising, since it's creepy and disturbing as hell, but I'd never call it paedophile wank material.

Not as weird as it sounds, it does have a lot of middle-school aged girls wandering around naked. (and having sex, although non-explicitly, in a few cases) It's definitely not porn (as defined here) but is it pedopandering? Eh... Hard to say. It certainly made me uncomfortable, but then again, it was uncomfortable in so many different ways...
