Sticky, please?
New here? Or a regular poster here who is searching for forum games that are actually good? Perhaps looking for new ones that show some promise but can't find any? Then this is the place to be.
The purpose of this thread is for troper forum gamers to recommend forum games to other posters that ask (like a sub-forum library of some sort), or to recommend your latest created forum game.
When posting recommendations, it is preferable that you link the name of the forum game to its thread, along with a description of what the forum game is about.
Forum game rules still apply here.
FORUM GAME RECS
Our Avatars Are Posting In A Forum Thread: What if your avatar was part of a forum thread? This is the result.
Our avatars have been genderflipped: Same as above, but applied to your avatars.
Corrupt-A-Wish: One person makes a wish, the other grants and corrupts it, then makes a wish etc.
1000 bad reasons to declare war: Self-explanatory.
Bad ideas for forum games v2: Thread topic ideas that are likely to get you banned or shunned.
1000 things we've learned from video games: Just started by me, a humorous look at things video games teach us.
Happy recommending and happy forum gaming!

Has someone already made a forum game where you only speak in quotes from media?
I’m too much of a coward to get anything done…I dont think so.... sounds fun tho
Some call it stalking, I say walking just extremely close behindI can't find that "Share an Avatar with the Poster Below You" game. It's basically just giving away avatars. Can anyone send a link?

You guys know the "cinnamon roll/can kill you" alignment chart? Would anyone play a game based on that?
And if so, should it be choosing avatars from the above gallery to go in each place of the chart, or saying which part of the chart the above avatar would belong to?
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."I would like that game!
Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."A handful of the bad ideas for forum games kinda sounded like they could still be fun for the first page or two before running into their obvious problem. So consider: Bad Forum Games Simulator: Running off the same "anyone can swap the topic when they feel it would be a good idea" mechanism as Scenes from a Hat, but instead of scenes, they're bad forum games we play for a page or two.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. So I had an idea for a forum game, but I wanted to make sure it was ok here first
Basically, it'd be a sort of "One cool fact about one of your avatars"!"
So if you had some cool fun facts or such about your avatar, new or old, you could post there. Maybe make it to where you have to swap avatars each time you post. I really just wanted to make sure I wasn't copying a forum game already made.

Praise the Lamb!I don’t think anyone has actually made that idea.
I’m too much of a coward to get anything done…Would that mean I'm ok to make it?
Praise the Lamb!I think so yeah
Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."Do we have an opposite version of this thread, where instead of horrible premises, it stars awesome premises?
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I could assume there is none, so I'm pitching this. A thread for out-of-the-blue, out-of-the-box out-of-this-world premises called "That's an AWESOME premise!"
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔GrafVonTirol just revived the Elimination Game, and I think it's interesting. The first theme is fictional locations.
A great Mascot Mook.Do we have a thread named "3 things Media X and Media Y have/don't have in common" or would it be a good idea?
I'm mainly a fan of underrated media.I don't think we have that yet. It sounds like an interesting idea.
A great Mascot Mook. The Ask the above poster a question thread has had a short trend of users asking meme/joke questions (like lines from the Steamed Hams bit), which is amusing and all, but I know some people aren't a fan of that, so what if we made a thread where you ask nothing but those kinds of questions? Sort of like a "Ask a stupid question" thing. Does that sound interesting?
Ever wanted to see the most inexplicably horrifying intro to a game ever?It sound like a good idea.
Recently I made a new forum game called Tropify the above song and no one seems to play it and. I keep on bumping it. Is something wrong with my game?
“What is that? It's The Unknown!”Repeatedly bumping a game will make you seem desperate and make people not want to play it.

Oh my bad. I won't bump anymore. Anyway someone play my game. I'll won't beg anymore.

“What is that? It's The Unknown!”Your game requires people to listen to music, which is a larger amount of effort than, say, looking at an avatar. So it's going to be slower.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.~Tropers/wingedcatgirl is our new forum games herald! So, bug her with all of your forum games rules questions
That sounds pretty fun honestly
Reminds me of a similar game on another forum years back, where players would submit replies to prompts but the type of prompt was changed up between each round, sometimes it would be a YIAY-style question, sometimes it would be captioning an image and sometimes it would be "what does this acronym mean?", ect.
