Fixing zero context examples

Characters.Aoi House just got the commenting-out treatment for its ZC Es.

Would anyone be willing to tackle The Worst Pantheon? It's gonna need a lot of %%s.

Nomen omen, right? It's really the worst.

I started with that, but I'm not sure I'll have energy to finish it.

When it comes to character pages that are that bad, I don't even bother with the ZCE cleanup; I just move every contextual example to the main Roleplay page, and cutlist. It's much easier.

XFllo's kindly taken care of the page, but noted for next time. It did have more than three written-up tropes, but for a page that long, it was pretty bad.

Yeah, my rule of thumb is if a majority of the page is useless, the page doesn't need to stay, only the properly written examples do. With other works cutting the character pages might be a bit extreme, but for a roleplay, people aren't likely to come back and expand everything.

But hey, page looks good now anyway.

I consider the Enemy Bazooka Troopers more Demonic Spiders than one anyway because they are quite dangerous to deal with.

Three Worlds Collide has a whole bunch of examples that are just a wick and a name, or a wick and nothing. Or a spoilered-out wick and nothing.

Got another ZCE haven in VisualNovel.Otometeki Koi Kakumei Love Revo. Already commented out as much as I could.

Could somebody do me a favor and comment out the ZCEs in ThunderCats Roar? I did it once, but someone uncommented them as-is, and didn't re-comment after I sent a notifier.

A mod revert is probably best.

There's not that much on the page and there've been a few edits since that one; the person who uncommented them all also added a good example.

Fair enough. I can do it, then.

(Though if you're worried about edit warring, it's technically not considered an edit war if one person is just trying to do cleanup work that gets reverted).

Sent the culprit an ignored comment notifier, since it appears the ZCE notice was ignored.

I've just come across Wacky Guy, which consists almost entirely of ZC Es (primarily to Sit Coms). The page is not that long though. I'm not personally familiar enough with sitcoms to fix these.

I'm pretty sure that page has come up before.

Just commented out a large chunk of Violet UK. It's 4AM and I've been up for far too long already so I'll give it a short time before cross-commenting-out the crosswicks.

Right. Well, in that case, I've commented them out myself on Wacky Guy. Note that this means there's only six examples left on the whole page, four of which are arguably still zero-context in the form of "<character> is a wacky guy and <some other trope>".

Frankly I'd take this to TRS if TRS wasn't so overloaded at the moment.

I'd say it's still worth of shot. This is a really serious thing. It has lots of wicks, though. Perhaps some of those wicks have better context and some cross-posting back to the trope page could be good. Admittedly, it's lots of work.

It currently takes at least four months before a thread is even opened on TRS. No, I'm not kidding. I don't think TRS is going to help here...

The Smart Guy is probably full of ZCE. I just checked the Western Animation page and...is really bad. I'm scared to check the rest of them.

I'm a glutton for punishment so I went ahead and made a TRS thread.

Cleaned up Bobby's World the other day. Might've gone a bit overboard, but it was just so bad.
