I agree.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Definitely take it to TRS.
As for me, I could not help but notice that the Evil Is Cool subpages are filled with ZCEs, often just listing the name of the villain without explaining what makes them cool. Please help.
One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord.Yep, that's a problem.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessDoes Trope 2000 need a wick check for a TRS thread to be opened? I don't think it should.
Keet cleanupNot sure. Maybe go and Ask The Tropers.
Can you help me expand on, or at least comment out, these examples, please?
One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord.Aye. I'll try and get some subpages cleaned tomorrow after work.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessTropes For Dummies was renamed to Parodies for Dummies with no wick check. I'm not sure if that was because the use of "trope" as a placeholder is a special case when it comes to name changes, or because there was another factor I overlooked (such as a lack of use). Either way, the list of good arguments on Everything You Wanted to Know About Changing Names lists the use of "trope" as a placeholder separately from other cases.
I looked at the Related tab and there are 184 wicks, but since the trope had a limited lifespan (due to its "expiration date" being nearly two decades ago), I'd imagine the threshold for what's considered thriving is lower than with Parodies for Dummies, despite having more wicks.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Manga.Elemental Gelade has tons of examples that are just the trope name and nothing else.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Hey, just wanted to know if you have fixed it yet. If you have not, do not worry, take your time.
One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord.Sorry, forgot.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWrong thread

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI need a second opinion for one dispute.
Is this enough of a context for these tropes? From Music.Miserable.
- Ode to Intoxication: The band's singer has stated that, if not interpreted as an anti-love song, it could also be about addiction.
- Rule of Sexy: Pamela Anderson struts around in little more than a white bikini? Why not? Is a huge part of the video as an overall concept.
1) Ode to Intoxication: Clearly ZCE in my book. It doesn't say what lyrics in the song or events in the music video allude to intoxication.
2) Rule of Sexy is actually a supertrope. The basic idea is that something unlikely, improbable or impossible happens in fiction, but viewers are okay with that because it's sexy. I don't see this explained in the example context. Not to mention supertropes that function as indexes are listed as tropes only when none of the subtropes is applicable, which I don't think is the case here.
The troper who insists this is okay as example context is actually edit-warring.

Drakos 25. I reported his editing in AtT. War Jay, would you please re-comment Ode to Intoxication and delete (or comment out, whichever you prefer) Rule of Sexy? If you were so kind... I don't want to edit war. (ETA: As far as I know, he — I presume he's a he — hasn't asked about those examples anywhere in the discussion and he hasn't PMed me either to seek consensus, despite the fact that I sent him notifiers and messages about his problematic edits.)

Done.
Also starting on some of the Evil Is Cool pages. They have more issues than just context.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI did the Anime/Manga, Comic Books, Literature, and both Films subpages.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessMother 3 is in dire need of cleanup.
Migrated to Chloe Jessica! The Rule of Sexy example should be changed to a Fanservice example, as that fits it better.
And thank you, @War Jay 77, for finally helping out. By the way, what other problems besides context did you find?

One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord.Fanservice and Ms. Fanservice are already on the page.
(To me, the Rule of Sexy on the page is obviously redundant and frankly, it points to Entry Pimping; I understand the sentiment that an editor wants to have as many tropes as can be on the page but Tropes Are Tools. Works are not better for using or not using a particular trope.)
Mostly natter and shoehorns.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAre scales like Mohs Scale Of Violence Hardness and Sliding Scale of Adaptation Modification tropes or indexes? Neither of them do indexing, and this ATT says Mohs Scale Of Violence Hardness is a trope and thus all examples require context, but this ATT says "Usually, scales are indexes."
Keet cleanupI dunno any scales that'd be more trope than index, do you?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Re: Trope 2000
Currently TRS is under a major backlog, hence why the thread may not have opened.

"Title 2000" would be a better name.
