Context: I had a roommate last year named Emily who was hardly ever home, didn't clean up after herself, and sure as shit didn't help us clean the common areas of our apartment. Thus when I got new roommates this year we created the "Don't be an Emily" rule. My roommates and I are getting a new roommate who's also named Emily, so I might have to change the name.
