Here's the place to inquire about pages whose images aren't potholed to anything.
Google Image Search and Tineye are good resources.
Images Without a Source lists the pages that have been discussed in this thread but haven't been sourced yet. Once a source is found for an image, please add it to the appropriate Image Source pagenote and remove it from Images Without a Source.
About Images and Copyright covers our general policies about image use; see here for more details and Image Pickin' forum policies. It's always a good idea to link images to their original versions and (when available) providing a link to the artist's site when they are located, especially if we're given permission to use an image.note

That still doesn't look fair to me, that's the main portion of the pic, right at the center.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Yes, that would be true even if more than half were cropped off (and it's not). Fair Use is all about the spirit: there is no fraction that always constitutes a "substantial portion" for every work. (That is, even if 90% of a work is left out, the remaining 10% might be the most important part, and an attempt to claim Fair Use would fail.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think that one's been asked about before and nothing came of it.
Discworld
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNope. It ain't from one of the graphic novels, doesn't show up on a Discworld-related GIS, and isn't what one would typically get fanart-wise based on a description of Death in the books.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Fanart, then, but I couldn't find a source for it either. I'd say that whether we find the source or not, the potholing in the caption needs to go away.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Hrrrrm, given how easy this trope is, and given that this pic might be fanart, maybe we could make a thread and replace it.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThe second gallery says it's from the Fountain of Wizardry, which is apparently a Discworld fanart site. Googling the Japanese name, I found it here. Reading the comments, it seems to be fanart.

"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThe second one also sources it to a Japanese Discworld community.
Large Ham: the main page image is clearly photoshopped, and the only GIS match is this person's Deviant Art profile image: http://circe-nausicca.deviantart.com/
Since it's a profile image she may have got it from TV Tropes. But this still needs a clear source.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere. Why is that even on the main page of Large Ham and not LargeHam.Star Trek? I don't know about source, but if we decide to keep that pic, it should be moved to the Star Trek subpage.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Admin fiat.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYep, I just looked into the history a bit and noticed... but was that determined before the ruling about pages with medium-specific subpages?
Hokay, so the subpage-thing was said on 19th Aug '11, and keeping the page image on 23rd Feb '12, so whatever. I don't see a point in asking then.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Afterwards, I remember. You better ask him, though.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAlso, If It's You, It's Okay has an unsourced fan comic that's merely linked to Batman.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere. The IPD in the source points to this Photobucket page◊. I don't think it's from a work we can have a page for.
Moon◊The image of Cowboy BeBop at His Computer has no source given despite apparenty being the trope namer.

It's the picture from an old newspaper article. I have no idea what newspaper, and I can think of no way to find out which one it was.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Looks like Albert Uderzo's drawing style, At a guess, I'd say it's from Iznogoud.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Must be from a Franco-Belgian Comics.
Maybe Spirou And Fantasio?

No, adjusting for the scale difference, ~20% is cropped off the sides.
