  • Captain Obvious Reveal:
    • Come on, was anyone expecting a character other than Zero to top his favorite VG characters list?
    • Unless you expected Ragna to take the top spot. His position near the top was still extremely predictable though.
    • Any time he makes a countdown where the Mega Man series applies, you can bet that something from Mega Man will at least have a spot on that list.
    • Top Ten VG Vampires has this as well, but it's a subversion. It was fairly easy to predict a Castlevania character at the top, and the most obvious guess was Dracula. However, QG fakes out the audience by keeping Dracula off the list and putting Alucard at the top instead.
  • Growing the Beard: Top Ten Comebacks is where he really took off.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • As predictable as it was, the segment he dedicated to his favorite character was a genuinely heartwarming moment. The amount of personal meaning that Zero has to him really came through. Doubles as a Tear Jerker.
    • The videos that he's made to fight SOPA, PIPA, and the Trans-Pacific Partnership count. It's pretty heartwarming to see just how much he loves the freedom he has as a content creator.
    • The ending of his Top Ten Worst Games To Live In countdown, where he says that, as bad as our world can be, there are much worse alternatives, which is then followed by him encouraging the viewer to think of anything they can do to make this world a better place, and then do it.
    • His message at the end of his Top Ten Dads in Video Games, first imploring every children to be grateful at their dads, then for every dads to love their children, then topping it off with a message for his own father: "Dad, if you're watching this... I love you."
    • Adam is a constant participant of Extra Life, a program to help sick or poor children. So he streams his games, raises funds out of those streaming (and he's not forcing people to pay), only to donate them for these children through Extra Life. Yes, he's seriously a philanthropist who's actively trying to make the world better via his activities. 'Nice Guy' might as well be his other moniker aside of 'Quarter Guy'.
    • He made a video to help inform people that his friend Yumi-chan and her roommate are crippling in college debt, and informed people that they need help. If you wish to donate, click here.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Never Live It Down: An incident where he left a livestream while being the host of it to get chipotle, and insanity ensued, and has been known as the Chipotle Guy by his friends since. You can view the original amazing moment, slightly edited here, and an animation of the moment by TJSutanian can be found here.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • His Memories of Mom video. Just watch.
    • While not for QG himself, the Top 10 Worst Monster Hunter Monsters video has a depressing instance with Regnilla.
Regnilla: And guys, take it from me: there is nothing more challenging or more exhausting for a man out there than having to deal with a female who wants a lot of sex.
QG: You've... had to deal with that?! That... actually sounds terrifying.
Regnilla: Turns out I didn't like getting laid nearly as much as I thought I did.
